Nice guide, but there is a big problem
Getting the tokens.
If you have the tokens, then use them.
But if you are getting tokens for this purpose, then don't bother. You are better off using abyss(members) or just running there.
RC Tablets are a great idea, an they seem fast. But getting them takes really really long.
You do realize that this is a F2P guide, don't you?
To Soulegleon: I don't have the software on my computer to take videos.
To Upthebanner: I don't know too much about the Explorer Ring and how it helps and all.. so I might not be the person to write a guide on that.
-
Would using the adventure ring tele work as the cabbage patch is relativly close to the draynor bank maybe a few seconds slower than the fally tele?
It would, but it's be slightly slower and more fustrating, as the gate is sometimes locked, and it takes about 10seconds more walking to the draynor bank than to the fally banks. those 10seconds add up in the long run.
And sorry scruff, my bad
Using that method could work, but it's a lot slower since, as Jimmy said, it can take as much as 10 seconds to get to the Draynor bank from there, whereas it can take as little as about three to get to the Falador Bank with the Falador Teleport.

With those lines you speak of, I normally see F2P'ers using the line that you said is for P2P, and almost never see F2P using the F2P line you said they said you should use. Maybe this is a mix-up?
No mix up there. Getting those lines sorted out is one of the main reasons I wrote this guide.
Also, I have heard that the grand exchange is the best place to firemake, but I won't criticize you for it because you said that this is based on your own methods. Pretty good guide nevertheless.I've heard this too, but you are correct in that this guide outlines my methods, which may or may not be the best.
Thanks!
I re-read the section on what it said about F2P firemaking, and I realized your point. That's actually pretty smart, as I don't know of many people who have thought of that. Good thinking =D>

Pretty good guide  .. I have used the movie-watching method before myself, but normally while wc'ing. With those lines you speak of, I normally see F2P'ers using the line that you said is for P2P, and almost never see F2P using the F2P line you said they said you should use. Maybe this is a mix-up? Very nice guide..would you happen to know if the new robes help at all with profit or exp ?
Robes help a little with profit, but are hardly worth it. They only work inside the game, so outside of it they're just good for being magic robes or a skilling outfit.
What about Earth Runecrafting gloves from Fog? Before, the max a f2p'er could craft per hour was about 1k, if your numbers are correct it is now 2.8k. It seems the gloves might be worth it now. You should also included figures on token/hour and add that to your calculations.Nice guide overall.
I didn't include those because of the varied amounts of tokens you can get in an hour based on your team and all that. There are probably other guides with that sort of information, though.
Very nice Scruff =D> . Also, if you're planning on doing 65ish+trips with fally teles, buying a water staff saves you money in the long run.9/10 fo sho
Yep, I think I wrote that you should have a water staff wielded.

I decided to make a guide on the new runecrafting tablets. I was doing a lot of calculating and figured that I may as well make a guide for myself and anybody else wondering about the profits and exp per hour.
Requirements:
1. 50 runecrafting (runecrafting guild requirement)
2. 37 magic is highly recommended!
Prices for the tablets from the RC Guild
All numbers are numbers of tokens needed to buy each tablet
Air: 30
Mind: 32
Water: 34
Earth: 36
Fire: 37
Body: 38
Method for runecrafting with tablets and teleports
Note: This method requires 37 magic. Falador teleports are critical for maximizing exp/hour. If you don't want to use teleports or you can't, just do the walking while using tablets to cut the trip in half. The Falador West Bank is the closest bank to the Falador Teleport. It's the closest bank to any place you land from doing a teleport.
Start off in the Falador West Bank. I suggest that you have a water staff wielded since you make air runes and you'd be saving one inventory space. You should also have whatever tiara for the altar you're going to be using for making runes (or tiaras) on your head. Try to have a small weight.
Your inventory should have any amount of air and law runes, enough to do at least one Falador Teleport. You should also have however many tablets you have for the altar you'll be visiting. You will have space for 25 rune essences to fill up the rest of your inventory.
After withdrawing your 25 essences, click on your tablet to land near the altar. Go inside and make your runes or tiaras.
Use a Falador Teleport to land back in Falador. Go to the bank. Repeat this method as many times as you can.
Hourly experience and profits
All of these amounts of experience are with the method used above. I will always give the experience gained in an hour before the profits.
Formula for hourly experience: Runs or trips per hour ® times essence carried per trip (25) times experience gained per essence. R*25*E.
Formula for gp per hour (kind of long and confusing)
Formula for hourly profits: Essence per trip * cost of essence * runs per hour + (cost of Falador Teleports * runs per hour). That gives you the cost of each trip. Now multiply the amount of essence per trip by the amount of runes per essence. Multiply that by the runs per hour and multiply that by the market value of the rune. Subtract the cost of each trip from the amounts from the money gained from selling the runes.
E*C*R + (T*R) = Cost per trip
E*X*R*M = money from making runes
E*X*R*M - (E*C*R + [T*R]) = profits per hour
Constants throughout: 25 ess per trip, 50 gp per ess. Falador Teleports = 360 gp ea.. 32 seconds per trip (supposedly), meaning 112 trips/hr

Fastest way to runecraft without losing much money per hour (not with tiaras) from level 50 to 99
Level 50 to 56: Air runes. Level 50-54 runecrafters get 14K exp per hour and 43,680 gp per hour. Level 55 and 56 gets 88,480 gp per hour.
Level 57 to 77: Water runes. Level 57-75 runecrafters get 16.8K exp per hour and lose 1,120 gp per hour. Level 76 and 77 get 43,680 gp per hour.
Level 78 to 99: Earth runes. It costs 1,120 gp per hour to do it and you get 18.2K exp per hour.
The most profitable way to runecraft from level 50 to 99 is with air runes. Refer back to the air rune section to get the numbers of how much you can make per hour with tablets.
Hope you enjoyed my guide! Please tell me if I made any mistakes.

Impressive level-up. What's the significance of these levels again?
-
Holy Crap!! The dedication is staggering!
11/10, keep up the amazing work! =)
(out of curosity howd u raise crafting? between F2Pers =D)
The way I trained crafting was by making tiaras from 56-70. That was a mistake money-wise, as I spent at least 2X more with tiaras than I may have with making hard leather bodies.
Thanks for the comments guys :). I'll add some more details to the first post, such as, which altar that is and stuff.
-
Good luck on achieving your goal man, and glad to see that it seems being F2P doesn't affect the rate of your exp gain :).

Thanks for the bump ZZZuperman, I'm currently waiting for a new virus scanner before I use Scruffyo99 again. I don't trust my current one, it's out of date, and I think I have some viruses.
-
Thanks for the bump mate.
Update: I've been quite inactive due to school, but I'm trying to get a bit more active again. Soccer was the main time consumer, but the season is starting to end.
-
Good luck with your goal.. I'm not sure how close you'll get anytime soon though, since some level 3 skillers who have like 12 99's only have like 55 slayer from genies.. So good luck, hope you don't give up..
-
I haven't been on much lately, school just started and I've had a bit of homework.

Thanks again ! i have to mine 11,783 iron to get 70, sheesh ! lol thats like giving away 1.1783 mill :( lol i only own 1.5mill in items ( full guthix ftw ) will the money i start making at 70 really pick up for the loss im making? thanks again buddy GL.
Well, the addy ores won't make you back the 1.5M anytime soon if you keep including more of the iron ore that you mine for more levels to get from 70-75, but the money isn't too bad. It's still income :).
-
thanks mate and do u think i will mkae a big loosss powermining in fally mines till 70 ?
Not really.. You could test both to see what works better, or you could even try the method of mining and giving away in the varrock mines.
-
well good luck mate im gonna get to 75 then mine addy thanks!
Good luck! Also, I've got a suggestion for you, when you reach 70 mining, you should go to Al Kharid and powermine if you're not already, because you could mine the two addy ores when they respawn, and bank them when you get full. Also, bring a chisel to cut any gems that you get. The addy ores add up and get you some money :D.
-
kl well im 61 mining atm and i want to get a high level like 75, do u think i should just powermine, wont i lose like mill in iron ore?
Well, technically you're not losing anything because you are getting the ores yourself, and then just dropping them. I trained to 75 mining all from powermining, it's a lot faster than trying to bank the ores. If you want to, you could try mining and banking if you want the money..
Thanks for the support Sirgudi
-
doesnt it take ages to drop the iron lol?
Well, I mine 3 drop 3, and you get used to it after a while. You don't really lose time dropping them because of the time it takes for the ores to respawn. If you're really fast, you can drop the 3 ores and be waiting about 1\4 of a second for the ore to respawn :P.
-
oh and dude when u wc and mine ur like so far away from bank, do u just drop ur resources?
When I mine, I drop my iron ore for powermining. For wc, I actually cut in draynor, I just usually go to the port sarim willows for the level-up so that it's less crowded.
Hey Dartfield.. It's not 6 levels :D.. I got 83 fm two days ago, and, guess what! :P
bronze 2h ftw!
Edit: Page 15!

nice stats :D
one question, can i join the race to 1100 total f2p? O:)
Sure, add me in-game too then. I'll add you to the racers list.
Thanks for the support everybody :).

Go to the Party room on a member world... Lost your party room? Moron.
We just dont have it anymore in seers, now free players can use it.
Why do they get to use it?
why are free players posting here?
These forums should be for members..
Also skillcapes should be p2p forever.
Waaah! im a free player! give me bank space! Waaah! give us updates!
Waah! give us skillcapes! Waah! give use some good boots!
You're mad that people might start using the party room? As far as I know, very few people used the party room in p2p..
These forums should be for members only? That is practically impossible unless Jagex takes over all fansite forums to be able to know who's a member and who's not. F2P can't post on the official forums, isn't that enough?

I have a comment about your leveling guide. You say that you should mine copper and tin ores up until 20 mining. It might be worth mining only copper ores and banking them, or mining copper/tin ores to bank and then smelt because copper is worth a little something. If somebody's getting 20 mining, they probably haven't been working on the account they're doing it on and might be able to use the money. The current median prices are 79 gp for copper ore and 188 gp for bronze bars. It could accumulate to be worth it (assuming you don't already have "enough" money).
Decent guide otherwise, has a good amount of potential
