I was sitting eating dinner last night, wacthing BBC1 (arguably the united kindom's biggest T.V. channel, for all you americans), and a quiz show was on. "Junior mastermind", a show in short about kids entering, and answering a round on a specialist subject, and then a round of general knowledge. It had reached the general knowledge, and having the massive ego I have, I was answering them all just to brag to my brother.
But one of the only questions I didn't know, was actually this :
"In the popular game, runescape, what is the name of the chef who is named after the first thing he cooked?" Well if I didn't have a clue, this poor kid didn't, who failed it.
But is runescape getting too big? I was laughing so hard when the question came up, thinking who in their right mind would know, as much more popular games had never been mentioned before. My brother being the idiot he is, told me Jagex must have bribed them to include it to get more publicity, lol.
Anyway, the point of the topic, how big do you think Runescape is now, as I've seen topics about them selling manuals to the game in school magazines, and on rsc there was a topic of a runescape stall at a work convention. Discuss.
By the way, the answer was burnt meat. I'm guessing its the troll?
We were sitting down at the table, and when that question came up everyone looked at me :oops:

Well anyways I was going to buy some supplies for fletching and went on the official forums. Saw someone was selling alot of yews and I said I would buy 2k of em. He pmed me and said to meet in world 132, yanille. How convienent, because I was already in yanille after buying some runes. I quickly switched worlds, but to my suprise world 132 was no ordinary world...
When I logged on I noticed at least 20 people, a quarter of them alching, a quarter of them cutting logs, and half of them just sitting at the bank(stringing most likely). I was amazed, and I asked if this was some clan gathering or something. They responded "this is the unofficial fletching guild". My first reaction was to laugh, as players starting their own guild in a bank was a bit funny. But then I saw how great it was, a place where tons of players can gather in a HUGE bow/unstrung/bs/flax market, something I've tried to organise in the past. Alchers will never go hungry, fletchers will always have a yew log seller, along with a bs/flax seller. I even came there at 4 in the morning, which is very early and still there were 20+ people there. That means in the afternoon there would be 100+ people! A huge fletchers/alchers market right in Yanille!
Has anyone ever been here before? Whoever organised this is a genius!
I go there all the time, its amazing there. I rarely get bored because there are so many people there!

I'm seriously looking into giving meditating a shot. I've heard only good things about it, and that it does wonders to relieving stress and cheering you up, not that I'm really stressed or down all the time, but still.
So does or has anyone ever meditated? Do you have any suggestions, or recommend any good books on it? Do you know of any other forms of meditating? I'm going to Google search this as well, but I thought I'd give it a shot and see if I can get any more personal answers.
I found it out from Google.
I do meditate frequently, it calms you down and relaxes you so much.
Just breath in through your nose and out through your mouth and do this until you are hardly breathing when you are really calm,do it in a quiet place, you dont want to do it with music blaring out. I've also foun that it clears all the thoughts in your head

I got 105 Dagannoths (sp?) for slayer.
I have seen they are extremely hard to kill for my level.
Anyone give me any tips on killing them or lower level dagannoths.

Ok, So i stopped playing RS about 1-2 years ago. (Since then I've played most MMO's; SWG,AoC,LOTRO,VG,EO.)
But now that I am back everything looks confusing to me, the graphics are a lot better and the game looks generally better. But all the updates about trading and the Grand Exchange is confusing me. Could someone give me a quick rundown on the major updates in the past 1-2 years (If you wouldn't mind) as this will help me a lot.
