  1. Sad to see that you quit and that this thread is dieing.

You're not even close. This thread is far from dead. For that matter, if it weren't for the forum rollback due to someone destroying a lot of data, there'd be a keg of new posts here, and tons of new supporters, as well as the occasional argument from the last 6 months! 8-)

Oh well, consider this the restart... And BTW, I think jiraiya19 came back to the forums at some point... This thread is missing something on the title that just tells me. :-k

yeah, I think the title used to have " - I quit" at the end.

I still like the idea, but kinda doubt it will get put in. maybe eventually :)

Yea, I did quit. And I still have quit. Maybe I'll photoshop up some new ones, because those look really bad to me now DX

    thanks for all the support.

This is a good tutorial for learning how to paint? I think it's easier to start realistic, then go to cartoons. It gives you more background knowledge about any topic you're drawing?

I also know they may sound harsh when you read them, but the criticism isn't all bad here. Some good pointers are in here, and I think you should learn from them :3.

    Anyway, I like it. 8/10

  3. Pillow shading. :x

We'll just pretend I know what that means.

Maybe you can explain it for those whom don't? :)

It's basically exactly how Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker was made. Cell-Shading, I believe. It shows how he didn't actually blur or smudge anything, but he made clean-cut lines for the shading, making it boring and have no texture. Kinda like all the disney movies : P
