  1. My main (130+) was banned while I was hacked and the hacker used my last chance appeal after being perm banned and typed in a load of rubbish, so now I can't do anything to get it back and since Jagex doesn't have a customer support person I can email to say to them check the IP addresses and you will see it wasn't me on the account, and check the password change if it is related to when the new IP started using my account and then I would be able to get it back, but with no customer service my only option is to start again

in the RSOF there is a sticky in General where you can post the name of the character. Jmods will then look into the account. Sticky's called "Account Review Thread" or something like that. :)

OT: GL with starting over :) Hope you have fun doing it. Also see you got some useful advice already; should make it waaaay easier ;)

  2. Or by seperating the book into 2 movies, they are trying to fit more of what was 'left away' into an already really long movie. Seems like the best idea they could have had.

true that, but why not put it all in one, long movie? ::' or releasing them at the same time? That'd be even better imo \'

  3. I actually read BaF. Found it an amazing book with an awesome story.

I wouldn't say it's nerdy, but it's true that it's not widely accepted by people. I've had to take the book to school to show it to my English teacher, so he could judge if I was allowed to read it for my list or not. Had some interesting reactions, lol. People were like "z0mG a RuneScape book lololol" and that when they didn't even read it.

If you get a chance to read it: DO SO! I think you'll like it ::'

As said before, it follows the adventures of a few adventurers, like ourselves.

As for the HP books/movies: I can say I quite the books (English version > Dutch version tbh), but the movies are.. hmm.. yucky. Soooo much is left away #-o and now they're gonna make the 7th book into 2 movies #-o :shame: they shouldn't do that.. but ah well, guess it's some stupid thing that has to do with merchandise or something.

I think they gonna release those diaries which is mentioned already. And we have legs , ammy and sword and they gonna release achievement cape. :)

i think you gonna need help grammar

    And so do you.

OT: I personally love the Achievement Diaries. I like completing the tasks, for it are things you won't do that often when you're higher level, especially the things from the Lumby Diary and the Easy/Medium tasks. Also it makes you do a lot of different things, from cutting a tree to making a fire with a familiar. I have completed all of the Diaries, except for the new Seers' one, but I've only got 4 Medium tasks left to do, so I'll have that one completed soon.

  5. I have the BGS one thing no one has said is it makes killing Sardomin and Zammy durring clue scrolls super easy. The spec never fails(maybe once or twice) and hits high, makes the rest of the fight a quick 2 or 3 hit job. Most of the time they arnt even able to poison me.

dude whats your attack level? like 99? bgs spec fails epic. i have 76 atk (i know its low) but i still fail around 9/10 of the time i spec with borrowed bgs.

except that the difference between even 90-99 is amazing, and at 76 its not surprising that your specs suck. when i use a bgs i hit probably 9/10 times in duel arena. a little less in pvp though, because they are more likely to have def potted/sara brewed

you cant expect to get far with 76 at all. you can only just weild the damn thing, let alone use it effectively

I have to agree with that. With a low attack level the godswords aren't really accurate. I'm 97 attack myself at the moment, and I've got a SGS. I love the spec because it heals me and restores prayer, and usualy use it for slayer for the special. However I have whip+defender/obby shield in invent to fight, and sgs for the special kept in invent.

I'd say Saradomin is best for me, but another gs could be better for you. I just like the SGS spec best, that's why I spent 72m to get one. I've also had a BGS before, but didn't really like that. But when I had that, my attack wasn't as good as it is now though. Also been using a friend's ZGS lately, liked the special, but that was only for Castle Wars. The free barage is pretty cool, but not very useful when trying to hunt monsters for exp or for slayer.

I've lent an AGS before, and didn't really like it because the special was a bit poor imo. It didn't have the hits I expected it to have, so that was a pity, but ah well, I think that people who PK and PVP a lot like it. But I'm not really into PKing. That's just my thoughts on this. ::'

  6. no, when i started it was more exciting since it was all new and didnt know the fastest ways to train. it was more exciting since i didnt know the best places or the fastest ways to get there.

the noob days were so great lol

I remember back when runescape was all about having fun and thinking that 1k was a lot of money..oh how I wish it was still that way today.

I loved my first days of being on the great world of Gielinor. My cousin showed me the Lumbridge Castle and the surrounding area, and gave me 2.5k!! Now I'd just stuff 2.5k on the money pile I've got banked, but back then it was a fortune. If I only could do that first time again, without the knowledge about runescape that I have now, I would. Loved that time.

But also now is great, I've met hundreds of people, from all over the world. I love being in Edge w78 to chat with the great people there. Even after over 3.5 years I'm still enjoying this game and the people that play it.

  7. the elf lands. oh god i never ever want to go back. ever. I hate the goddamn place so much.

    So... many... traps

And it's those traps that make me like the area actually. I like the Elf lands, they've got something... charming, or something like that :P I like it there, fun place. And for the traps, that's why you have that pink potion called superantipoison, and monkfish.

Things I ignore.. well, at the moment I ignore things like the click-and-wait skills, like woodcutting and fishing. I find them boring and unchallenging. Haven't trained fishing for months, and only got 2 woodcutting levels lately because I just wanted to do something I hadn't done in months. ::'

I seem to like most things in RS, I've done all minigames at least once, and completed almost all quests (271 QP, Summer's end and WGS to go..). I don't see why people ignore so much. As for Dorgeshkhaan and Keldagrim (just 2 examples).. Of course, I don't go there a lot, but that's simply because there's nothing to do. I do go to Keldagrim if I've got some long or curved bones though, I like the extra exp.

Just have to keep one thing in mind: whatever you do, have fun. It's a game ;)

  8. this is the cost of a guilded altar, without burners:

    2 marble blocks (650K gp), 2 cloth (1300 gp), 4 gold leaf (520K gp) - shop prices

cheapest burners would be Mahogany burners costing:

4 mahogany planks, 2 steel bars

    mounted glory:

3 teak planks, 1 (uncharged) amulet of glory

All in the construction tables, not too hard to check for yourself ;)

  9. I think the person who said 1 liter for 1 vial is pretty right. Because when you drink a dose of potion, it's like *gulp gulp gulp* and as 4 doses fit into 1 vial, that'd be 250 ml a dose, which is easy to drink in 3 gulps. So yeah, I think 1 liter could be pretty right (also looking at the size of those vials)

  10. I think they might have changed it because the plans for the new tutorial were taking more time than Jagex had expected them to take. If that is so, it would be logical to 'just' update tutor island, because that is the first place new players see. And if you don't like what you see at first, I think some people quit runescape after, what?, 5 minutes of playing?

That'd sure be a waste of accounts :P

I think that might be a reason to give tutor island some new graphics :)

  11. I find this topic pointless and pathetic. Instead of criticizing player-mods, (in which I have first hand experience with), actually put yourself in their shoes. First of all, being a player mod is totally voluntary and you can reject and give up the crown at any time, not even an explanation needed. Secondly, players mods are *players* first, hence the name: player moderator. We do not have to take direct action from an order such as yourself, for you on the other hand, should think twice before posting a pathetic topic like this, and yes, many other topics are exactly the same as this one. Who are you to judge how moderators are picked, you are not Jagex nor you are part of the p-mod community, you wouldn't give a flying rat's [wagon] about it. We want to play the game like all of you, we're not baby sitters or Jagex's children. We get put through a whole load of [cabbage], that is not an excuse, for it comes with the title. It is not based on our knowledge about Runescape itself, but the community, the rules, and the actual fun of this game, which you sir, have taken away my fun from today because of this pathetic topic. Why not post this on rsof, and see the response by many forum and/or Jagex mods? You just post on here, like your lame leetscape client and pathetic stolen images for stat images.

    Have a nice day,

    ~Poet

nothing to add, great post. :D

"Put yourself in a moderators shoes" You make it seem like such a difficult job to sit at a chair while playing a game and clicking the report button. Jeez if you're annoyed by the whining

    a) ignore the person

    B) suck it up,

once you logout thats it...being a mod doesnt make you any better of a player, wont benefit or hurt your life, NOTHING. Are they worthy? Who cares..if Jagex thinks they're good enough to simply click a button and mute someone...then great. Most I've seen are powerhungry and are probably the people who are socially handicaped at school, so they need to feel "cool and powerful" on some online game

I think it CAN hurt your in real life. If YOU was a mod, and someone is picking on you just because of this, would you like that? I bet you wont. I know I dont like it when someone is just picking on me because Im a high level or whatever, for no reason.

Also, I think that most mods do deserve their crown and mod status. Also, in the three and a half years of playing, I have never seen a mod abusing their powers, and the mods I know are very nice people.

  12. The repair costs of Barrow armours is something you have to agree with before even buying the armour, if you don't want to repair your armours after, in this case, 15 hours, don't buy it :P

I don't really care about the repair costs. As is said before, this awesome armour with its great defensive stats and specials must have a catch. :)

I also use rune when I don't need Barrows. This helps as far as keeping the costs down.I have had idiots talk trash to me because I am level 100+ with rune. I think it is silly to see people wearing Barrows when they obviously do not need it. But I don't say anything to them. But if you only need rune, you only need rune. I don't wear things just to look cool all the time. I use what is sensible and does the job.

    that's exactly what I do :D

  13. I agree that magic is mostly a secondary skill. I've got level 99 myself, and I'm very proud of my cape ::' But what I use magic for mostly, has to be the teleporting around Runescape and barrows. As is said before, there is one complete skill-help secondary skill spellbook, lunar :P Also in pvp magic is most useful when used with melee or ranged, as is also said before. So I can't say I don't agree with the statement that Magic is mostly a secondary skill.

  14. I remember having to start Roving Elves quest for my first clue scroll, plus getting myself 53 (+3 with pot) agility to get through the forests. So, yes, I do think they did that intentionally, by the way, my first clue is about 3 years back ::'
