  1. I think this is the place to post about an inaccuracy in this description. my apologies if it is not.

The tip.it guide states that it is required to have a "Dramen/Lunar staff" this will be to be able to use the fairy rings. however the fairy wand (also required for this section) can be used to use the fairy rings.

summery: The Dramen/Lunar staff is not needed for the final fight

    Many thanks

    EDIT: summery.

  2. I will have to say quest cape ....... BUT ....... That depends on how you got it.

People like me that have done every quest without a guide. no hints or tricks. worked it all out for myself. that is more impressive than most skill capes (allthough i still think prayer/smithing(/that UN-trimmed HP cape i once saw) are more impressive)

But as the majority of ppl seem to do nowerdays is just follow guides. tick the boxes not even pay atention to the "story" of the quest. that is even worse then the (no offence :? ) COOKING CAPE!!!

    so it depends really.

    EDIT + ADDITIONAL below

[hide=]AS the TIP.IT times article below states (posted on 23rd of march 2008 (so theese "highest levels" (as listed lower down the post) are no longer entirely accurate))

the innacuracies include the highest skill requirement for any quest (while githix sleeps - 75 magic (1.2m exp))

    http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?times=138

24 skills ... average "highest level" for all quests of 53 is 3,378,256 exp.

but as the higher levels are diss-preportianate to this as rising on a 1:11 (where you need approximatly 9% of your current exp again to level up (most accurate between levels 30-70)) on a scale not mearly 1:1 (which would be the same exp per level)

so averaging out this exp it makes the "average" exp per skill around 250,000 mark making it level 59/60

and therefor 5,549,264 neally half way to a 99 just in experiance alone. (assuming these levels have risen by a litte bit each it will be the half way mark (and assuming you get another 800k exp from the magic skill (due to while guthix sleeps)))

so this + the time required for the quests them selves. and the items required too. consider this before commenting aswell =)

    Many thanks Mr42

  3. I Would put myself in the skiller category. but i have a respect for everyone but merchants. this is because. they don't seem to do anything. as the article states "make millions without even moving" i don't mind PKers. they risk there items for a profit. skillers take time to make there money and monster hunters challenge themselves. but merchants to put it abruptly don't... my brother (a hard core merchant) logs into runescape for about 10 minuets maximum a day to manipulate his GE offers. then logs out. runescape is a "game"

and call me old fashioned but a game is about "controlling stuff and having it interact with other stuff and your brain generates FUN!"

so i really don't see the point in "playing" runescape with a merchants life.

That is just my opinion on the matter =)

  4. Swans song: simply for one reason if you have the stuff with you when you first talk to the WOM of drayonor. he says "oo how conveniant you allready have it. i sence the guide fairy's presence"

then it had to be One small Favour: was a great quest and you get to know so many interesting people (NPC's)

then Desert treasure: a chalange =) and everyone loves a chalange

well my name came from the fact that im a girl ... lol a typo on mrs that stuck (and if anyone sees me in game ... donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t accuse me of being a transvestite! (it gets a little annoying))

and 42 "the meaning to life the universe and everything" yay for Douglas Adams!

(in case you donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t know according to "the hitch hikers guide to the galaxy" 42 is the ultimate answer to "the ultimate question of life the universe and everything" but no 1 understands this because no 1 knows that the question actually is)
