not really. my parents would pay for WoW if i wanted to play, i've seen it and i don't want to play it. same with my friend in real life.

yeah that's just taking video games too far. besides, who actually do that if they can go into life and do the exact same thing, plus it will be real money that you get? only reason i play video games is to do something i can't in real life.

"fishing lvls" i don't really mind it when it's one person but "fishing lvls?" respond 30 seconds later someone else comes to fish "fishing lvls?" repeat. anoother thing is when i accidentally hit the caps button when i'm typing on the right. i hate having he caps lock on. i miss when you could only have 1 cap per sentence.

if you read my post, i actually proved that my numbers were correct. the final result might not have been true, but all the numbers i used were true. but yes, i have had te same experience, there have only been 5 pures that did not call me a noob or be a jerk on the spot, 3 of which i met at camelot today while getting 55 mage. i have met over 200 pures in my rs career, and 5 were not jerks or did not drop trade. i saw a level 45 with a dark bow today, he was pure. i highly doubt he got it without getting any stats in the high scores, becuase all he had was range. so in my experience 5 out of let's say 200. 97.5% of pures are jerks and break the rules in my experience, yet that number is probably false for all pures. i'm actually pretty sure now that it's 70%, math is one of the things that cannot lie unless you do something wrong, and all my calculations are correct.

Valid point,but what i'm trying to say is that i find it annoying when some says "90% of pures are jerks" or something along those lines. most of them are exaggerating. it's just to make a point. the ones who truly believe it are the oones who are idiots. in all reality if numbers were the only way to prove something then i would be correct, the only numbers i made up i proved that they could be real statistics. so for all we know, it is likely that 70% of pures drop trade. and like i said, 70% is emnough to start a stereotype, which people have now proved to be a generalization.

Urgh stop making up figures,yes some pures are annoying,some noobs are annoying,some high lvl players are annoying..it's just what it is like. figures are made up to make examples. in this case, it was just to make a point, he said that number to exaggerate and to get the point across that many pures are jerks. in a previous thread about defending pures, i used to numbers to make an equation. some of these numbers are facts, some of them i made up to make a point. i'll state the equation here. there are roughly 10 million accounts made on runescape. about 200000 have been banned, and another 800000 people who have played for more than a month quit. if you count all the accounts who have played for less than a month you'd get about 2 million. so you have 9 million active accounts. there are about 1 million accounts tjhat have been created from the same ip address as another account. count out about 200000 people who have brothers or sisters that play in the same house, you have about 800000 accounts that have been created by people who already have an account. that's a lot of pures. now let's just say that 70% of pures have drop traded. i'd say that's about an accurate number as there are quite a few pures who follow the rules. you now have 560000 pures that have drrop traded, and 240000 that haven't. most of the people on this forum who have pures haven't drop traded, but i have seen a few mistakenly admit that they have. in fact about 70% of people who say they have pures on here have not admitted to drop trading in some way. since tip.it is pretty much the opposite of runescape, tip.it is mature while most runescapeans are jerks, i say that this can now prove that 70% of pures drop trade. 70% is a large amount, so it is obvious that the public will see this large amount rather than the 30% that don't drop trade. now we have the basis for a generalization. generalizations about people are too widely believed and used for the world's sake, and runescape follow this trend. now you have the reason why most 'scapers either dislike or hate pures. sorry for the double post but both of them were long so it's okay right?

the reason i don't like pures is because MOST NOT ALL somehow take it to their head that because they aren't on their main, they can act like jerks. i have met 2 pures that aren't complete jerks, and they are my friends' pures. do you know how many pures think transferring items to their main is legal? most that drop trade think that any type of transferring items is legal. but i have met pures who think it is okay to transfer items by either a. using 2 computers or b. giving one account to a friend temporrarily. the second thing infringes on 2 rules. now do not flame me and say not all pures do that. we all know. what we do know is that the majority of pures act like jerks. don't say i'm pulling that out of my [wagon] or to prove it, it's not a stereotype anymore but a generalization. try going on your main and setting up a cannon at rock crabs. do you know how many "z0mg n00b but ur cannon away!!!! noob!!!!1" you will get? i've seen it happen a lot, when i was training my range. it was in the 40s and i really didn't know where else to train so i went there. the pures there are so hostile to anyone who takes their kill or sets up a cannon, yet they would do those thing at the first chance they have. in fact i have witnessed a pure call someone a noob for bringing a cannon, when they died he picked up his 5k cannon balls, then came back with a cannon. they might be the same person as their main, but they don't act the same way, and that's why people don't like them. and how would you like it if someone won a stake against you for, say 10mil, just because they obtained the armor and weapons in a way against the rules, drop trading. that's what a lot of pures do, and why a lot of people don't like them.

in some areas the d spear is the best weapon that you can have. take cw for instance. whip+d spear is pretty much the best combination you can have, just use the whip most of the time and spec a flag holder that's getting away with the spear. then whip again. other than that, the d spear isn't practical. i read the pking section, but my friend said that snare is more effective, since you have to wait for the attack with d spear. off topic here: you guys are ending up going into a flame war. and ya rly, tip it forums are 3 years old, and the website itself is over 6. it's not that junior, but what does it matter if it was? it hasn't had time to be infested by the majority of scapers, whom have kiddish attitudes, this is a generally mature forum.

i play rs a lot, but only after i get everything that needs getting done, done. i play it a lot, but not obsessively, it's how i keep it in check.

great example: troll king. level 122 has ice barrage(or is it burst?) and kicks my [wagon] yet i can easily beat black demons which are 50 levels higher. i still haven't beaten the troll king for fremenick isles, tried it 3 times. oh well, i'll just wait till i have the cash for a whip.

there are only rules of honor if someone is losing. if someone got killed because you didn't follow "the rules" they say you're a noob. if they win and didn't follow the rules, they don't care. the wilderness is all about advantage, if you don't have the advantage you try to get someone to follow the "rules", if you do have the advantage you forget all about the rules. basically, in my opinion, since it's a video game anything that isn't prohibited by the makers of the game is legal.

true, but most of the people who say rallies don't do anything didn't go, in fact the rally against it pissed me off. the rally for f2p bank space is different, the pc rally was a bunch of little kids whining because they can't make pures as fast, while your guys' rally is a legit arguement. still, i don't approve of it, but i'm not gonna flame you for it.

you know what? i've decided to support you guys. the vast majority of f2pers don't know how to manage their space, it's not that they don't try. some items that are crowding up space come from members, and they have more space. even if the supply of trimmed armor stopped coming, and all the trimmed armor from non member worlds vanished leaving people with their market price, some people find it necessary to keep their randoom event clothes. there are so many random event clothes that even if you managed your space and only kept the materials for oone skill at a time in your bank, there wouldn't be enough space. however members have the luxery of just storing it in their house, not taking away anything but about 2mil in planks. of course that is a lot of money, but it's more space. so i'm gonna support you guys, but don't expect to see me at a rally. however, if there is an f2p bank space update there better be a members tooo, i'm good with my space and 3/4 of my bank is filled up, add it to the fact that i don't actually have that much stuff and that i can't use barrows sets plus all the quest items that are handy to keep, i'll be over the limit. i expect that jagex will give both non members and members bank space updates if they give non members the space, so it will be much harder to program the members space and it might take a while. i really don't approve of these rallies you guys are having, but i support the idea now.

You know that you have to do a really hard quest to enter Shilo right? Im leval 3 and done lost city, its just use ring of recoil and i bring 3 friends with food. shilo is much harder than lost city. that 101 really wasn't as hard as one. i meleed him when i was lvl 62.

how is it impossible? i hate people that say that. just because someone is level three doesn't mean they don't have the right to make money or become a mod. mods are simply players who are respectfl and have played the game for a while, and red phats are simply symbols of your wealth. level 3's can obtain wealth and be respectful, so it's not impossible. back on topic: that's pretty amazing, but as it has been discussd in a topic 2 months ago, it is possible to have an untrimmed slayer cape/level 3 with slayer cape. you use the same strategy as you do with hard quests, rings of recoil and food. of course for the 99 slayer you would have to get all burthorpe tasks, after a point it becomes impossible to do some tasks, even hill giants i'm pretty sure are impossible, unless you're lucky and they only hit ones.

could ya tell us what happened? and how long they were friends? if they were your friends longer than 3 months, it seems they would value easily obtained pixels over hard to find friends.

How is it pointless? There is no rule that topics in General discussion have to be a debate. It's for fun... To give people a break from all the topics about autoers, scams and other things. But every topic in this forum is for fun. Unless it's with RC pkers in which everyone has to be like Anti-Nazis and go 'oh no if I agree with rc pkers tif will hate me' so they agree with everyone. so what do you want us to talk about? pks? there's a forum for that, and it's not here. there are so many forums that all that leaves for this forums is topics that are fun. besides, it's a game where you're supposed to have fun, why not have fun discussing it. and there's an old saying that says if you don't like something, ignore it or change it. saying this is pointless isn't doing anything, so ignore it. anywho, let's get back on track here. if runescape was real eh? well, i'd try to make money, like i do as usual. that means chop trees then fletch the wood. then when i get 55 mage alch it.

he's a scammer. he's one of those people who trys to make you feel guilty then take advantage of it. if they don't give in on that account, they'll make or use another of theirs sometimes and say "hey, i heard you're quitting and have a rare. can i have it that way there'll still be enough rares?" or something like that.

pretty much. hackers can get programs that can easily type in any combination of letters with a 20 letter limit within 30 minutes, if your computer sucks. most hackers update their computers every 6 months, when new computer technology makes 6 month old computers obsolete, so they'll probably crack it in 10 minutes. of course, with the new security update programs that only type in passwords and don't crack them will be obsolete, seeing as how the limit is 5 typing ins i think.

still, that's over 50 new capes....
