  1. Due to its strength bonus, bandos is generally regarded as the best slayer armor. If its in your budget you definitely need to buy the plate and tassets. If you had to pick one, id have to say do the plate and use a verac's skirt.

Well they cost alot more. is it really worth the price?

Yes, as long as you can afford the armor, and you don't need any money sitting in your bank, its always worth it to get the more expensive armor. It will also give you slightly better xp/hr, which is always good.

  3. Well I think the main advantage to the new curses are the lack of necessity for runes. Most people don't want to waste 3 inventory spaces on spells that require a "hit" to work, which is most affective when wearing armor with a positive mage bonus. Now you can tack on draining the opponent's prayer to prayers that depending on your activity, you would most likely use anyway.

With that said, I think that a revamp of the modern spellbook might be a good idea, but in terms of practicality, the new curses allow for a much better window of opportunity.

  4. Well i remember when there was a guaranteed content poll about the achievement diaries in the beginning on 07, and i voted for the fremennik area. What makes this significant, is that three out of four of the diaries after karamja have come off of this list. So i looked at the poll and found this:

    Varrock area

    Camelot/Seers' Village area

    Falador area

    Fremennik lands

    Gnome Stronghold area

    Ardougne area

    Burthorpe and the troll mountains

Now, four of these have not been released. It would make sense to me that some if not the next four diaries should come from these locations.

  5. Well considering the fact that i have a quest cape i would say that it is in itself its own quest. There are few things more annoying then logging in one day and having your quest cape ripped of your back. Most people dont understand that leveling skills that you dont like isn't fun. And if they leveled say cooking to level 99 just for the sake of leveling it to 99, then that isn't an acheivement, its merely a task. The biggest problem is that human nature is to make fun of something that is worse then you. If they have a 99 cape, then they are going to think that they are better then you. Truth is, they are only showing that they are too lazy to do something themselves.

  6. I have this problem with my quest cape. I worked for months getting the skills up for it, and dont even get me started on the month i didn't have it when rocking out came out. I went and did some f2p bounty hunter (epically failed at 100 cb -.- ) and someone said to me, " lol the noob is worried about losing a cape that over 1 million people have." Well if he looked at the high scores and saw that 69 smithing still has just over 100k people, he would understand.

But i get what you are saying with the cooking cape, its looked down upon because it is one of the easier capes to get, but that doesn't take away at the fact that it took time and money to get.

  7. Ok just wondering what you think would be the better setup for me with these stats.

    76 att, 91 str, 75 def, 85 hp, 70 prayer and 75 range.

I have enough money for the guth but i would be substituting karils for the army. Oh and should i use less restores due to my prayer?
