  1. String jewellery requires 82 magic ;).

    Try cursing or hunter kits.

Solo Bandos is medium-good cash at the best of times, but if you don't have 80 magic yet I'll assume your prayer level isn't much higher, or your herblore, or summoning.

Yeah, my stats aren't quite there yet. I'm just taking it one step at a time. Thanks for your input though.

  2. I just recently renewed my membership to RS and I want to get from 72 Magic to 80 so I can start to solo Bandos. When I used to play, the best way to do it was to High Alch yew longs, but now I'm not sure if there's a better way or not. Any tips would be much appreciated.

  3. I got a Skeleton Wyvern assignment for Slayer, and I tried killing them a few different ways, but I can't find anything that works effectively. Can you guys post some set-ups/inventories or methods for me? I'd really appreciate any help I can get.

  4. So I finally picked this up today. Great game, but the only problem is my stupid mic is broken because of my cat. -.- I'd offer to play with you guys online, but there's no point without a mic. :P

  5. Ibanez, Jackson, Schecter, and some Deans are good metal guitars, check them out. As for an amp look into Roland, they have really nice crunchy distortion for metal and the built-in effects are decent considering they own Boss, which makes high quality effects.

I agree completely with the first three, but ya gotta be careful with Dean. Some of their models are really good, but alot of them are overpriced for the quality.

  6. *sigh* Sweet happiness. I finally got the B.C. Rich V all set up for Drop-B. Sweet Jesus, this guitar sounds amazing. It's amazingly versatile. The cleans are very clear and sparkly, and the the metal tone I get out of it just blows my old amp and guitar to little bite sized bits. I couldn't be happier.

And also, if anyone needs any help, please feel free to PM me. I can't guarantee that I can help you(as I've only been playing for 3 1/2 years), but I'll answer to the best of my ability. And if I can't answer it from my experience, I'll direct you to a source that can.

  7. I'm getting an all new rig tomarrow, but I'll post what I have currently and what I'm getting tomarrow.

Guitar: Ibanez GSA60. Piece of crap. I hate it.

Amp: Line 6 Spider II 212. An even worse piece of crap. It sounds horrible. The cleans are bland, and the distortion is as weak as Sylvester Stalone without steroids.

Now my new gear that I'm getting,

Guitar: I forget the exact model number, but it's a discontinued B.C. Rich V. It plays amazingly and the sound I get out of the amp I'm getting is stunning.

Amp: Peavy Envoy 110. Amazing little amp. It has two channels(Clean and Gain)with two settings for each(for example, Gain - Vintage Gain and High Gain).

I use Dunlop Jazz III picks and DR 11's.

  8.

    Case A:

You slip and completely fall off balance, giving yourself a nice face plant on the concrete floor, amidst a crowd of friends and strangers. What do you do next?

Just get up and laugh at myself. 'Cause hey, it's funny.

    Case B:

You get caught staring at a woman's bust/man's region who you know and are confronted with:

"WHY ARE YOU LOOKING THERE?" How do you respond?

In this case you just gotta compliment her. Or admit you're a perv.

    Case C:

You're walking in a cinema, and all of a sudden you try to go around an area and stupidly run into a barricade, and a group of teenagers repeatedly point and laugh at you.

Can I make them run into the barricade forcefully?

    Case D:

You're kissing a girl. (Assume this is your first time) Even though they have accepted the notion of love, it is very stiff and un-natural. An awkward silence follows. What do you do or say next?

"Hot damn, that was somethin!" No really, I don't know. That's one of those things that's gonna be awkward no matter what.

    Mah answers be in bold.

  9. For God's sake, stop arguing over whether they're metal or not! It's absolutely ridiculous! They may be -core, they may be nu-, the may be metal, but it doesn't matter. If the music sounds good, it's good. Get off the effing bandwagon. Just because it gets stereotyped under a certain genre doesn't mean it automatically sucks. I bet half of the people who are bashing on this haven't even heard the songs. They probably just jumped on the bandwagon.

Now. I love these two songs. The solos are killer(All Hope Is Gone's 5 string arpreggio is awesome), and I am super excited about this. 9 more days.

  10. Really, the only one I can think of is this funny one.

"We are aware of the hole in the road and we are looking into it." - Some cop.

I'm sure if I tried hard enough, I can think of a good one. I'll come back when I do.

  11. Clowns. I swear, clowns are Satan's royal jesters. And they're pedophiles. "Come here little boy, lemme pretend to put makeup on your face while I secretly molest your face with my evil clown hands." Pure, unadultered evil.

  12. Zakk Wylde. 8-)

Sorry, but I disagree. His riffs are uncreative, and every second or third note is an effing pinch harmonic.

On my side, as far as the BEST guitar palyer, I'm not going to say. This is an endless debate. Everyone has their own opinions, and everyone has their own genre's they like. But I will say my favorite guitarist: Alexi Laiho. He can be brutal, he can be melodic, and his solos are amazing.

  13. I'm holding out hope. I've always liked Metallica no matter what album. Kirk is one of my biggest guitar influences, so I'm a big fan. I hope it'll be good. I read in an interview in a Guitar World mag that one of the song's, Kirk was saying, cycles so many time that he feels like he's soloing for a full minute.
