  1. They should make everything in the fighting areas destroyable. For example, you could light the bridge on fire. That would slowly burn, doing a little damage until you poured water on it. If somehing was destroyed, you would need to repair it. So there would be a point to attacking fortresses- even though the opposing clan has the fortress as an advantage, if you win you could cripple thier entire fortress by destroying everything. Also, so the fortress couldn't be attacked with 2 people in it, there would be a switch that allowed you to toggle fighting on and off. Once it is toggled, you can't deactivate it until every attacker is off the fortress area or dead, so you cant deactivate it just because your about to lose. To make sure no one snuck in to your fortress, when theres people trying to go into your fortress without fighting a menu will pop up listing the name lvl and whether or not to let him in.

  2. The suggestion made was to have only the basic weapon tradable - All higher and lower variations of the weapon could only be gotten through drops from monsters, and most likely only sold to a general store for a certain amount based on the quality - Nobody else could see this item appear. This would make slayer more useful as well as add a point in looking for drops like a rune scimmy.

I like all of the idea except for this. This is counterproductive. If the items are non tradable then you can't buy the lower lvl ones or the higher lvl ones so that does NOTHING except for lower the value of normal weps as more and more get the souped up ones. Also, if you get a rune scimmy, say, then you would only be able to sell it to a general store, which offer like 1/2 the real value. That will cut down on the stuff. Alos, you don't need the scam protecter or anything else if you cant trade it, now CAN you?

  3. I understand your reasoning of putting a money drain in F2P. However, Construction is one of the main bonuses for P2P, so it's unlikely that any of it (no matter how big or small) will be converted. I could be wrong, though. None of us thought we'd get the Party Room. ::'

good point. i think maybe we should work off the mini game idea (once again, an opinoin) because it would 1 be a new mini game so cost $$ for f2p and p2p.

I'd suggest some sort of minigame perhaps, that would be P2P and F2P. This minigame would require a hefty price to play/get items for. Not quite sure yet what kind of game it would be, but it's a basic idea you can work off of. :)

  4. Oi, you're gonna get flamed... :XD:

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if i did. This is my opinion and some will agree, some will disagree. I just saw a problem and put what I thought the solution was. Anyone is welcome to put their own solution as long as it adresses the same problem.Of course, f2p wouldn't get ALL the stuff, just some of it. Also, it might help to make it so you could only buy the planks from the store or a member who makes them, so some of the gp dissapears with Jagex NPC's and members would get the rest of the plank market, and the members would then spend it on the stuff mentioned earlier.

  5. Everyone by this time knows about the rapid inflation in runescape. Jagex has used many methods to reduce the amount of money through expensive skills like construction that cost loads of gp, and items that require a recharging like the crystal bow. But there is no real attempt to cut down on the money f2p users have. The f2p people who have loads of gp from merchanting and high-alching have absolutely no way to spend other than to make more money. This is going to become a bigger and bigger problem as runescape goes on. Jagex is going to keep creating items that members will buy from NPCs so the money will be gone from the game. The f2p players won't have as much to spend on, so effectively only a large chunk of the players will lose gp permanently. All the f2p players gp will build up, and the members gp will drop. As long as there is no way to spend a lot of gp to npc's, the economy will rise. So I propose some skill like construction for f2p to lower the amount of gp f2p players have. As long as it allows you to show off what you get and it marks you as a wealthy person, people will buy it.
