hey guys i can never figure this out, how do i install from a mirror site like this http://mirror.cpsc.ucalgary.ca/mirror/gnoppix.org/ i can never get it, and someone in an earlyer post offered this link and most other linux downloads use a mirror as well so i think it will come in handy knowing, thanks,

i have an old laptop that was running windows xp (profesinal), and i wanted to make it into a pictureframe to hang up, the problem is the harddrive stoped working and i can't find another one with the whole operating system on it already. I was wondering if i could boot it into network mode off my main computer (windows xp media) but then when searching on google for it they said i only could if i had 2003 server, then i was wondering if there was some way i could put a small linux or something onto a flashdrive with the pictures for the picture frame on there with the operating system but i wasnt sure if that would work, or even if that small of operating systems could handel a screen saver (which is what i would use to make the digital picture frame look like a picture frame), so what im trying to say is will any of this work? is there another way i might be able to do this? if you have any idea of what im saying please post here with your ideas and help,

I dont really like zezima. If he really didnt care about staying level one, why train skills after level 99? to "test your goals"? You want a goal go play soccer or football, or maybe even basketball. but what would happen if runescape just shut down? How many hours of "work" would you have lost?

If you have a job, you are too old to play. Runescape is for kids, not old people.

I wouldnt want to be one, cause my moderatorship would be of no tribute to improve the game.
And I wouldnt want to have the power of a moderator because I believe with power comes responsibility, responsibility that I do not want to have ;)

I figured out one more reason for all of you mod-goers to be a mod. Merchanting! Mods can talk through public chat being off, so they can never be ignored, and get deals a lot faster.
Plus, i swear they get level 6 priority in pest control. :(

Would you? I mean why would you want to be one? To have "power"? Would you like to have someone looking up to you for answers constantly? Also, your expected to know everything, and never break any rule. If a mod says crap, RS blocks it, so everyone wants to report a
mod for fun. Then you get banned. Would you really like to be one?

guys think about it, they have to put a ton of people on this and write all 100+ quest guildes, then also make them for new ones. This will take a ton of time! with all of those people working on this there will be less updates like ACTUAL QUESTS! and new skills like carpentry which is 5 months overdue already and everyone quit talking about just like poh, but back on topic, ya i dont like it if im that stuck ill just go to tip.it guilds

my grandpa is a realitor and he dosn't like the layout of the site that comes with working for the company that he dose, he was thinking about hiring a very expensive employer to make him one, but personaly I think it looks fine, i dont think that it is worth hiring a new designer to make a personal one, anyway i was wondering what u guys think, and no im not advertising his company being the chances of and of you guys reading this and living in malvern ohio and looking for a home and like the homes he is selling is absolute zero.

Well as we all know time is the 4th dimension... One way to prove that is this:

i have a book on time travle and the different posabliltys, it expains the dimmensions very well, i think its titled "Time travle in Einstienes Universe" or something like that, and they are not even sure their are other dimmensions, you guys seem to be talking like there are for sure, although we will know by 2007-2010 because in some country (i forget where not us, bnritten, russia or anywhere like that) they are building a machine to send protons at each other a near the speed of lite (186miles per second) whitch if other dimmensions exist will tear through space or something like that (see popular science most recent issue)

I finished 9th in Louisiana state cross country meet :D My fastest time during the season was running a 3 mile in 19:00. With my 3 mile pace I would finish my first mile in 5:45ish. So i could take off a decent amount of time if I was only running 1 mile.
holy crap you got 9th in the state with a 19!!!!!!! can i come to your school i run a 19:20 3.1 mile and am on the jv team of a div. 2 team thats never been out of districts!

Well, Xmas has come around again and all of the new ipod owners are sitting at there computers right now converting cds and such to go on to there new ipods. I got mine loaded the songs and played around with it, after some greif and using the restart(center + menu hold down) about 7 times. my ipod is looking pretty good right now, but as for the ipod vets, can you explain these podcasts and such to some noobs like me?
podcasts are [developmentally delayed]ed, dont get them
and put linux on your ipod, best thing i ever did with my ipod! just search google for "ipodlinux"

Not hard to believe cause in grade 8, our cross country runs go for 3 kilometres and the top runners finish in less than 8 minutes. I got for at least 11 :oops: Top shape than most though :P
hahahaahaahahh............................no, no1 gets 8 filthy lier that less than 4 min a mile!@!!!
and u guys are crazy i think a lot of u are making up your times! iv been in cross country for a long time (3 years) and my best mile time is 5:23 (middle school still havent started high school track) but my brother wins most of his races at 4:50 in highschool so a load of bs u guys have!

Our family decided to do a christmas echange for next year, the past year it was just adults but now all of us kids are in our teens (14-17) they included us. We put all of the names into a stocking and each person picked a name, I got my grandpa (unlucky him), and we are suposed to make a gift for them and they wont know untill next christmas who has who and what they made, so im blank as far as what to make him, i know you guys dont know him but if you throw out some ideas i might see one i really like.

Hi I'm doing a report on prejudice or stereotyping in the work-force. I need an interview for one of my sources so if a few of you guys could please answer these questions it would be greatly apriciated. (only if you have a job though plz) I will ask you for your first name and country or state if you live in the USA and first name so i can say somethig like, "john from germany sees some of his fellow empolyeys harased every day do to prejudice in the job" but probaly better written out then that im just trying to hurry because im a procrastinator and this things due tomorrow.
