  1. Wrench is from Rum Deal. If you haven't done it, don't bother.

As for the diamond bolts...Jad's ranged def is already pathetic, so I have a feeling rune would be better for the higher max hit.

Well, thanks for all the advice, I'm gonna go now, but I'll add you in RS to tell you how it goes when I try the fight pits
  2. I would strongly recommend snakeskin boots, your ranged level is going to need all the help it can get.

Also, if you have access to a holy wrench, I would suggest bring 4 super restores, the wrench, and the rest prayer potion. You'll get more prayer and spend less that way.

What ammo are you going to use?

2k addy bolts or so, put it in edit, and yeah I was considering snakeskin boots because my range isn't that good but then I thought that dragon boots have way higher defense

Bring some rune bolts for jad, onyx if you can afford them (like 7k a piece O_o).

Defense will matter very little if you do this right.

Okay thanks, and what quest is the wrench from? I hate quests so I hardly have any of them done
  3. Zap, what most people here are trying to say is this:

We get tired, the people who answer these questions, from answering the same ones every day. It gets boring. There's a magical button though! The "SEARCH" button. It magically searches and finds results for you.

Those ARE direct opinions, the guides, because they are written by people who have gotten fire capes. Maybe, go ask Jagex... That's the closest thing to a direct opinion after looking through the guides.

It's a shame that I can't ask Jagex considering you can't message them any more and I live in the US

  5. asianboy, if you don't know what an opinion is then you should go back to middle school.

And I'm thinking about using full guthans, stole, accumulator, barrows gloves, dragon boots, warrior/archer ring, and having black dhide body and legs, rune xbow, unholy book, 3 range potions, 4 sara brews, and the rest super restores. How's that?

Edit: for the xbow I'll use lots of addy bolts like 2k or so

  6. Okay so I've been preparing for getting a fire cape for some time now, and I think I finally have enough money along with good stats to do it. My stats are as follows:

    Attack - 80

    Strength - 90

    Defense - 80

    Hitpoints - 85

    Prayer - 70

    Mage - 70

    Range - 73

So based on my skills, what setup do you think I should use (equipment and inventory)? I know for sure I'm using guthans but that's about it.

  7. Fighter torso/Granite plate

    Torag's legs/Dragon legs/Rune legs

    Neitiznot helm/Berserker helm

    Glory amulet

The best Recipie for Disaster gloves you can get

    Abbysal whip

    Dragon boots/Rune boots

    Obsidian cape/God cape

    Rune defender/Rune berserker shield

Edit: Ah, see Guthans absorbs health based on your hit, it's not exactly regenerating

  8. I do recall seeing Glarial say something about directions but I clicked through it quickly because I have a guide. But I go up to the ghost after trapping all the bandits and my character just says these little small-talk things like here's an example

    Zap: Hello there.

Ghost: The endless tragedy of fate... why must you torment me so?

Zap: Alright, alright, calm down, calm down. All I said was "Hello"!

Yeah then the conversation ends and they just keep saying things like that back and forth
