  1. Thank you for your votes.

Keep in mind that the chaos altar has a FIXED EXP RATE, so I do not need to experiment with it. It gives 238 EXP per run. No pouches, no multi runes.

well thats dumb...thats completely unfair setup imo...

the ZMI requires a higher rcing lvl to use, and therefore more xp..

if you had a high rcing (like 70) and tested it out, then its fair

But you have to use pouches for chaos to be fair

  2. you can try the al karid mine. banking in the duel arena or in al karid

you can try the crafting guild and teleport to falador.

there might be a gold mine in the wilderness. if there is you can teleport to varrock and walk back or bank in clan wars or bounty hunter

  3. 1. in each crater, u can only attack ppl in the same lvl

(i.e. if ur in the 3-55 lvl crater, you wont see anyone else from other craters)

    2. its 3 minutes per time u pick something up. if you killed your target and picked up his loot, u have to wait 3 minutes. if u get another kill, it resets again to 3 minutes

  4. im 89 cmb and my membership just ended. i wont get members again (it ruined my social life) but im still playing f2p.

  5. We will be introducing a change on the same day, which will allow you more flexibility when trading. As you may have read in our Future Changes to Recent Updates newspost, this is an increase to the 3,000gp staking/trading limit, based on the number of Quest Points you have.

Somehow I think I was giving out more than 30k worth of double natures per 15 minutes with FFDN... :|

But I think since Jagex has officially recognized rune companies by making official worlds for them, they'll be implementing measures to preserve them. Apparently they won't be doing that immediately, so in the near future there could be more people training Runecrafting.

Oh yeh, cause they really preserved Pking Worlds...

Please, No matter what Jagex does, they won't be afraid to undo it

  6. for melee i would use

    nezzy helm

    blk d hide top

    blk d hide chaps

    climbing boots

rune defender (i got about 20 of these so loosing one isnt a big deal for me)

    d scimmy

    power/glory

    this gives good range/mage bonus

the bonuses are the rune defender registers as 0gp which lowers ur "total cash"

the only problem is, if u run into a team or 3+, ur dead because unless ur 99def 99hp, this isnt enough to stop a large enough attack

Mage i suggest just bring normal robes and the best spell u can (about 100 casts) and a mage ammy...reason is mystic means "plz kill me" in BH (as a sadly found out) and ahrims means "im carrying a party hat!"

  7. First off, we all know on January 2nd, the 3k trade limit is coming. However, you can trade more depending on your Quest Points. As we all know, P2P have way way more quests then F2P. Now, before you all start saying "you dont pay, you dont get" listen to my example. BTW, im a member, and i have been for 2 years.

If f2p doesnt get any more quests (im not talking about 20 more, im talking about like 2 more) their trade limit is gonna be very low. I'm also not talking about quests like DT or Legends, im talking about a couple stupid quests like "witch's house".

Seriously, a couple stupid small easy quests for f2p wont hurt, because its not like thousands of p2p are now gonna say "OMG!! f2p got 1 small mini stupid quest which takes 4 minutes! its soooo not worth being a member anymore!!!!shift+1!!"

  8. Gems basically for me. I'm f2p and after 1 hour of using the G.E. for merchanting i made around 150k or so from solid gems.

My tactic is buy gems at low cost. I have around 1k nats in my bank and recently my friend gave me 500 gold ore so i just make ammys by using smelting spell on gold ore, then tele to fally, make ammys, alch em, tele back to varock to buy more gems

I got 2 crafting lvls and 1 mage lvl

  9. Mon ami, c'est "laissez-faire". Quel a tu parlais Fran̮̤̉̉ais?

In truth, laissez-faire is a devil-may-care attitude towards it; and I don't think that Jagex isn't sitting on their hands without giving a care about the marketplace. But I also don't think they're controlling the market either.

First off, i don't know French, just that saying from History class.

And second, when you control the prices (i.e. not allowing items to be bought/sold higher/lower then your prices) you control the economy. If jagex wanted to (they wouldn't, but they have the power to) they could make everything 1 gp. They would never do this, but they have the power to change the economy.

  10. When the Grand Exchange first came out, i spent like an hour or so just merchanting there. After selling a bunch of useless items and stocking up on useful things (cosmic runes, gold bars, etc.) i was amazed to see the prices of many objects different then that of their actual costs.

Nature runes are 310gp max, lobsters are around 230gp max (forgest actual number) and my friend told me yew longs also changed which ruins alching for 99 mage in p2p.

With Jagex controlling the prices, they control the economy. For anyone who knows French, they pretty much just spat on the saying "Laizer Faire". For anyone who doesn't know French, it means leaving the economy alone, like relaxing and watching it go by itself, not having the government control it.

Why does Jagex do this? Sure, it gets rid of alot of scams and stuff, but it also kills the prices on many things.

I was just wondering, what some people think about Jagex's attitude towards and economy. Do you think they should leave it alone or take control of it?

  11. i dont know if anyone else has had this, but i was recently walking to Seers to sell something to my friend when suddenly my screen (the runescape window) turned black except for my character.

The minimap, inventory/stats/equiptment box and the chat box all worked normally but the screen where you see your character was black.

I could still move and talk, i just couldnt see it. I started freaking out and stupidly X-ed out of the window. I have no picture to show it but it was really weird.

Is this a bug or is it my computer?

  12. range/mage will not work on f2p.

    1. range doesn't hit as well as in p2p (where you can use d bow)

    2. can't use ancients

if you want range... the only good thing in f2p solo pking is range/2h.

even solo ranging doesn't really work unless you play deep wildy...

    dude, think before you talk

range/mage works good in f2p but only at low-medium lvls. When str pures are able to hit 20s with 2h, then its time to stop soloing.

    Answers to your questions

    1. NO DEFENSE...countless pures get like 5def or 10def and then 99% regret it

    2. What do you mean register? If you mean protection, then yes. Even if you become a range/2h pker, get 60 or so mage. It helps alot for binding and mage resistance when you pk.

    3. Well, for mage/f2p i suggest like 60range 59mage at a bare minimal but you wont hit very good with the mage. 70range and 70mage would be nice, 75range would be even better.

    4. NO!!! Prayer wastes lots of combat. It takes like 3.75 combat lvls (correct me if im wrong) to get 31prayer. Thats a good 10-15 or so str lvls (depending on combat) you miss out. However, if you dont get melee lvls..

    Without prayer...

    40att

    70str

    70range

    70mage

    With prayer...

    80range

    44prayer

    70mage

Reason for 80range is because at 79range, with the eagle eye, it boosts up range max by 2 i think.

  13. ok, my main is now f2p after being p2p for a long time

    his stats are

    70att

    73str

    70def

    60range

    45prayer

    49mage

    70hp

im gonna try to get his noncombat skills up first but i dont need help with that...where should i train him? My first thing will be 50mage. MAYBE ill get 55 but i dont wanna spend to much on it.

what should i do with prayer? get 50? 52? keep it at 45?

his RSN is slymaster04..feel free to add me
