  1. W00T!!!!! Now I can finally get 70 rune crafting without having to spend millions of coins on tiaras!!! Thank you so much Jagex! =D> I am set for the rest of the year!

Or you could go train at the ZMI alter and break even or even make money. I can't stand people who waste money for slightly higher xp.

or did you notice this guy is f2p? body tallies are best exp on f2p

Ajk, I'm F2P as limdogs pointed out. I wish I could use the ZMI alter but it's cool now that I have the Runecrafting guild. ::'

  2. Just wondering, if you can make an Omni-Tiara, whats the point of the staff then if they both do the same thing? Last time I checked, the Tiara doesn't cost 10000 points :?

The staff binds with a specific talismen I think. I saw one person with it and it looked like a staff with an air talisman on top

Anyways, the point of the staff is basically to equip a talisman in your weapon slot.

  3. I know someone who plays for 8+hours per day, and throws some of the biggest parties in the city -.- that proves you can play and still have a very active social life. btw, not them weird raves and deathmetal b.s parties

Right... so where's he get the money for these parties then?

He could be an organiser for said parties and, as a result, get paid to set them up and ensure that they're successful (IE: Party on, dudes!). From what I know, they make quite a lot of cash per event.

    You mean like this guy?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8ONXRJfKfU

Seriously, the odds of that guy doing that are very low... -.-

  4. Do you think F2P should get nothing at all?

Damn right, I pay for new stuff. It'll be P2P because it's going to be in Yanille (that's what I heard).

    Fail. Just fail.

You call me a troll.. I have 210 posts and I registered over 2 years ago.. Now you have 570 and you have barely been 2 years at Tip.it

    Nice brain

(mods feel free to delete this post along with his flamebait)

    what the hell is this?

    word of the day: fallacy

a misconception resulting from incorrect reasoning

    I like that word.

pokemama, brando, and Stewie_Griffen, thanks for standing with F2P, this update aside and all.

You see, I wouldn't really care if this update was F2P or not other than Rune Crafting is pretty much tied for the slowest skill to raise in F2P. I mean, how balanced is it when I can get 2k+ of exp in one load of swordfish when it takes me half an hour to get about the same amount of rune crafting exp.

So, because I'm concerned about this balance, I think that this should be fixed. Not necessarily by the brand spanking Rune Crafting Guild, but by some sort of update. And I bet all the people bashing F2P have never tried rune crafting in F2P for an hour or more so they hardly have any idea how tedious it is.

  5. I've been wanting to go on a rev hunting trip for some time and I was wondering if anyone has made any guides or is experienced at rev hunting and would like to share a few tips. I know you want to wear d'hide but I don't know what the recommended levels for killing revs are or how to find them. Thanks for any advice!

  6. I think it's pathetic that someone would dedicate their lives to something so pointless. It's a game that earns you no respect in the real world no matter how good you are in the game. That's why I always see no-lifers as losers who try to cover up their worthless lives by being good at a game.

Yet you have a signature that says RS is worth the memories and you have a picture of you and your "best bud". Hypocrite much?

I think if people want to no-life that is up to them. We have no idea of their health issues, or social problems etc so why should we judge them?

He's my best bud on Rune Scape, not my best friend I've ever had. :| And by saying "worth the memories" I meant it was worth trying out and playing the game. I doubt I have ever no-lifed, the most I've played in a day is maybe 3 hours. During school I play on the weekends only and I take a 3-4 month break in the winter by quitting cold turkey. By no-lifing, I mean no-lifing. That means a person who never goes outside and their entire life revolves around grinding on the game just to be "the best".

So I fail to see why I'm the hypocrite here. I don't support true no-lifing because I don't believe that people should do it.

  8. Okay, so I was browsing random items on the Grand Exchange Database and I came up with a search result that yielded this:

    58465774he6.png

Yep, that's the triangle sandwich from the Sandwich Lady random event and I'm almost 100% sure that they weren't tradable before the Grand Exchange came out. At first, I thought that it was a glitch or something but I searched again. The results came back the same so then I looked for it ingame and it was there as well.

So, my question is how did this item come to be tradable? Was it someone who exploited a glitch or did Jagex just forget to make it untradable on the Grand Exchange?

Oh yes, they are available for F2P to buy too.

  9. Remember, you have more monsters and better weapons in p2p ;).

You also have slayer, which somewhat helps take out the monotony of training.

But probably aim for 75 attack/70 str (75 attack for more accuracy and be able to wield a gs if you get that rich :P).

But gl with your new members account :D.

Meh... I don't want to raise slayer; that's too much work. :P Heh, I must be an oddball P2P because I don't want a God Sword either.

Anyways, the account isn't members yet, he still has a lot of work before he's ready. ::' Thanks for the advice though. :D

  10. Well, it's kind of frustrating being a low level player and you keep getting level 70s-80s every time. You earn like 3-4 tokens per match and getting your butt kicked every time gets old.

Another thing, there's a ton of idiot players who play FOG and they remind me of the obnoxious pkers of the old days. I absolutely HATE those people and they're the ones who complain and spoil the enjoyment of the game.

Finally, it's way annoying when high level P2P go in and play FOG in a free world. I think that's real chicken crap of them to do that since not only do they have an unfair advantage in combat, but they have their own worlds for a reason. When I see this happening, I think, "Wow, that P2P must suck real hard at this game if he has to play in F2P to get wins."

So in short, the imbalances in the game cause people to act out of anger or stupidity which kind of ruins the game.

Yeah I know how the lower levels feel, but u can always take the alternate strategy and run and hide or maybe this is encouragement to gain a higher level. I personally play in F2P because it is easier and I don't have the equipment I use to play FOG in P2P (I died #-o ) But in F2P I think we do have the same advantage in combat, people in F2P just tend to not train more, but that's just my opinion

Well, there's a few reasons why F2P doesn't train combat. You either spend 2-3 hours in the stronghold of security killing spiders for one level. Oh, we get full rune and a rune scimi too.

P2P, on the other hand, gets cannons, rune defenders, barrows, dragon, bandos, etc. Believe me when I say that training combat in P2P is way more interesting than in F2P.

  11. I think 70 attack and 70 strength should be enough to do all the quests. You might get by with less, too. There's always super sets to help you out.

True, equipping barrows would be nice. Man, I have to do this all over again. #-o I hope it's easier in P2P...

  12. Maging at GWD just isn't done lol. Ranging can be effective with a high enough level and of course is only used at armadyl.

As for finishing all of RFD idk as str and attack are requirements for alot of quest lines like Legends, Frem trials/isles, Heros, etc.

So you may not be able to get enough quest points. And the quests you do get you'll likely get exp in attack or strength. So if you want to stay 1,1 I doubt that will be possible.

Okay, so for the lowest level attack and strength, what would you recommend? 75-75?

  13. For some reason that dancing pokeman just annoys the hell out of me...

Back on topic, yes you will be limited in ALL combat activities by not being able to do any damage.

Sorry about the avatar, but Pikachu's not dancing, he's walking. ;)

Back on topic, yes you will be limited in ALL combat activities by not being able to do any damage.

Range? Mage? I don't know if he has them leveled up but I remember they can do damage.

You're right. He didn't say anything about range though, and the only boss that you can kill efficiently with magic is rex, and the best (depends on a lot of things) way to do that is with guthans, which I'm pretty sure require 70 attack or strength, or both.

Yes, I forgot to point out that I do raise magic and range on my tank account.

Get 74atk 75str/ 70atk 79str/any combination as long as your atk+str<149. That way, at 99 range, you will still be range based, and can still call yourself a tank  , and you get to use barrows/do boss hunting, etc!

Did you read my previous posts? I'm not gonna grind range or any combat skill through killing monsters. Anyways, why would I need attack and strength > 149 :?:

The whole reason I don't want to raise attack and strength is because I want to do the minimum combat training possible without limiting the game content I can access.
