Thank you for the reply,brainy. I asked this because I have created several Excel-based calculators myself but I manually enter the data each day, spending up to half an hr each time. Microsoft Excel is much more flexible and nicer so I prefer to stick to Excel if I have a choice.

Just wan to clarify, I wan to get the fastest exp using either iron or coal mining, which means i don't care abt profit.

which one is better in terms of exp over time?
My mining level is 50.

Google Docs is essentially like Microsoft Office, and the spreadsheet form which we will be using is essentially like Excel, but it has a helpful feature which is that it can extract data from the internet(Although I recently found out Excel can as well but I haven't found a way to do it as efficiently so I'm sticking with Google Docs.)
Hmm...can you share with us how to do this with microsoft excel(nvm its not efficient)?

1. If you drink a strength pot and then use rapid restore prayer, will it slow down the rate at which the str lvl reduces to normal level?

I read on the RS web that the gauntlets will lose their charge only if u die while wearing or carrying them. Is that true? If not, how then does it loses its charge? Is it over time or per use(ie every battle)?

Rune scimmy is the best weapon overall. Even if you have a Rune bx vs a full bodyplated person, Rune scimmy still beats Rune Bx hands down. It did made me wonder why Jagex wanted to make these weapons when they clearly are lousier than rune scimmy.

I didn't really understand what to do if I don't have photoshop. i think you should organise it a little bit better, like maybe hide things into "step 1" and "step 2", etc...Oh, and have two different paths for if you have photoshop, and if you don't.

Since we are on this, do the skull parts drop in the "highest lvl monster" on each lvl? For eg. Do lower lvl monsters like globin drop the parts more often than their minotaur counterpart?
I seem to be having a hard time trying to get the last part where the ankous are. Should I hit the ankous or the ghosts?

You mentioned that the speed at which iron is mined is relatively constant whereas for coal, it is more random. If I want to go powermining, should I go for iron or coal assuming my mining level is about 50+
