  1. There seems to be a glitch in my campaign on PC.

I can't start the caves level, and I keep getting an error saying the caves ff file is missing, but it was right there when I checked.

I've tried reinstalling, but it doesn't work, can anyone help me?

  2. I think you can kill him, and you can take his key if you haven't started the quest, I think.

    Check the Vault.

Ah, and not only that one, there's the "Strictly Business" to start. So I need to find Paradise Falls and Underworld first. Cool.

If the target is already dead for Strictly Business, it won't cause the quest to fail, so you can let the ghouls in.

  3. Right now pyro seems the easier to learn

    Whats to learn?

Just be like everyone else W+M1

hehe, nah don't just do that.

Don't use backburner, put out teammates with compression blast, fire soldiers rockets back, use axtinguisher if you catch heavy on fire and he's close, use shotgun when they run away.

Those are the basics for a good pyro.

I meant more to get the hang of; thanks for the tips.

Is it true that it only records points/stats at the end of games?

Nah, sometimes Steam fails to record, the records are supposed to be kept permanently.

And for Pyro, 1 word. Ambush.

  4. Yeah I'd be down.

And for scout I use the regular scattergun. I'm a terrible [bleep] aim with scout so I never land both hits on the FAN anyways.

I know, miss with the FAN, you best start running away. I hate it when I end up missing both shots, but still get my target's attention with an empty gun and a couple of seconds before it reloads...

  5. Theres a few people saying how would you type, well on PS3 you can have a keyboard like this, i have one actually:

    ps3_controller_keyboard_02.jpg

Also, you can even use a full size normal usb keyboard i think?

Maybe they have another thing like that for Wii. Or they'll come out with it soon enough.

If all the original buttons were in proportion that would make the keys really tiny... Can't imagine trying to coordinate a clan event with one of those

  6. Hey guys, what's a corner sniper?

Sniper that sits at a corner, pops out, aims and fires, then jumps back into cover.

And here I thought he was setting us up for a joke.

There wouldn't by any chance happen to be any moral ambiguity over corner sniping would there...

  7. 8 hours, 2 Sandvichs, 1 Flare Gun and 1 Natascha later, I finally got my first Spy/Sniper Weapon, the Dead Ringer...Only discover I'd much rather have the original watch.

Somehow got the Dead Reckoning achievement, without the Huntsman :?

  8. The worst I've ever hurt myself is when I was riding a bike. I fell off awkwardly, and the bike was heavy enough to pin me down and the handlebrake jabbed all the way into my leg... A kind jogger managed to find a doctor to pull it out while I was still in the park... Only 5 stitches, but trust me, that hurt like hell

  9. My Medic achievements are bugged, I've tried three times to get house call, nothing happened, and yes, I joined the games via my conversation with my friend on Steam.

Just one more for kritzkrieg, and I can't get any others... -.-

  10. Friend of mine sent me this game through Steam, and it is AWESOME! Now at the bit where I have to get to Rivet City, no bugs so far...

Where's the lab where I can learn how to use power armour?

You could do what Riku said above; but the main quest way requires you to find dad first, then a little later on you'll get the perk at the citadel (Brotherhood of Steel stronghold). You, my friend, have long ways to go either way; Anchorage has higher level enemies no matter what difficulty and will prove difficult for a lower level, and getting to the Brotherhood of Steel stronghold is ways to go.

Anchorage was DLC you need to get with Microsoft points right? And are there any spoilers in it? I play a lot of games for the storyline.

  12. As long as they keep C.S Goto away from the quest scripts, they should turn out okay.

    Rushing not possible anymore?

    "Sorry Guardians, no more rushing!"

    "Aww..."

Eldar guardian rushes were almost as bad as zerg rushes. Have only lost once to a player who wasn't playing Orks.

  13. So yeah I bought the game off of Steam this morning.... And I totally suck [wagon] at it \'

Oh well at least I know that I can only get better from here :P

Just go pyro and run at people spamming flames. The majority of TF2 players are too dumb to realize how to counter it.

Its not hard if you're Heavy. Meet 'em head on, no more Pyro. But if you get circle-strafed, kiss Sasha/Natascha goodbye. If not, just reverse and run back.

P.S : Scout update is on the way according the official TF2 blog! Any ideas what they might be?
