To make this a valid post, well, I saw some reviews of the single player, and my god some of looks brutal. Apparently the opening sequence of being a president, beaten, tortured and executed from a first person perspective (ala CoD4) wasn't enough...

He's just ranting on the suckiness of the variety.
I guess the only solution he can offer is to remove of all that junk.
Or, the other solution is to make hand cannon not explode.
Why? SO everyone can then moan about Range ACTUALLY having no variety?
Why not upgrade the Javs, darts,bows,cannons, ect?
Why not add new weapons that are good?
Why not offer up some new ammo?
Why not offer up some way to attach jems to arrows/javs/darts?
Why not offer up some effects for the enchanted versions?
Why not offer up some new ranged armours?
Why not offer up some new range based monsters that drop the above?
Ect

If you want to talk F2P melee, well here they are, howbadisbad style:
The Bad:

The Good:
Scimitars: Best weapon in F2P, nuff said.
Longswords: Slower than scim but more powerful and accurate, and it has an awesome stab.
2H: Awesome KO weapon.
Btw, since you are talking about P2P ranged, you should add shortbows to that list. "Ever since rune crossbows, magic shortbows are useless." :rolleyes:

I aggre with your rant about f2p, but f2p is just a demo of the real game tbh. It's free so you can't expect it to be more balanced than p2p. (even tho it prbably is.) <.<
It is. No way to hit 65's and K0 easily, way harder to PJ, and the overall lower level means mages have a slight chance, even without ancients. :thumbup:

A quick google search says that 1m gp now costs just $1.80. My guess is that all the RWTers do now is just gain EP on your char for Statues til you get the money you paid for.

to be honest, I dont see how you can fight all the barrows brothers at the same time, as the chest room is single combat. BUT! if you make ahrim teleport you somewhere that is multicombat, you will be able to fight them all at once (a bit like the spirit realm, or maybe they could ask you to bring jennicas ring, as ahrim senses it, and it will let them find out the truth, you bring them the ring, they teleport you to the spirit realm, and you fight them (as they are spirits, they will gain power in the spirit realm!) allowing for a harder fight!
Its a good quest, I reccomend you put this on the RSOF!
The fight wouldn't be fought in the chest room, it would be in a separate room. If you've done The Chosen Commander, you'll know that there are 2 throne rooms: one for the quest while you are playing as Zanik/fighting the avatar, and one for killing the statues after the quest. And seeing that you can only enter the Spirit realm in the Wilderness, I'm afraid that using the Spirit realm at Barrows isn't possible. :( Anyways, I have like 6 threads running on the RSOF already, so I don't want to add another one. :P If you want, you can add it though. ;)

And personally, thinking this over, this needs some serious changes. fighting for some boots with nothing really special but some stats with WGS as a requirement? Thats alot of work for very little reward. Give them a nice side effect when used with barrow sets. :thumbup:

I know these kinds of threads are silly, but whatever. If anyone would be nice enough to tell me, that'd rock. if not, I guess Ill figure it out.
Anyways, I've been on a hiatus for over a year, maybe even close to two, and I'm looking to get back into runescape after I finish up all my college applications, as I'm distracted enough as it is... Anyways, could anyone be nice enough to tell me whats been going on in Runescape, and how it is doing (Sans the botting RWT stuff). Major changes would do, I don't need every detail.
