  1. Many, if not most supplements are fairly useless. Consuming things in the form of a pill or gel is generally not very effective, and often costly.

I consume glucosamine sulfate (experiment, it will likely lessen the pain of my patello-femoral syndrome), and fish oil (anti-inflammatory, balances 6's & 3's, a monitored and well documented substance.)

Yea it's true. I remember watching a video where a bodybuilder explained how a lot of ads will lie about their products and when he got down to the basics, some "supplements" were just sugar pills or caffeine pills selling for $60. Some companies even pay the bodybuilders they sponsor to keep quiet about taking steroids and say they are all natural.

That's why it's much better to just take a multivitamin, fish oil, flaxseed, protein shakes and stick to a really good diet. I'm still skeptical about creatine though.

  2. I haven't been a member for about 5 months and haven't played much in that time. I had dumped my inventory but managed to keep a few runes, 1.5mil, warrior ring, dragon boots, abyssal whip, obby shield, obby cape, zamorak platebody and platelegs, and helm of neitiznot.

A couple aren't mentioned b/c they weren't in the hiscores. Any ideas on the most effective way to gain gp for when I get back to f2p would be greatly appreciated. Gaining levels are not of my concern, just money making.

  3. Oh and here's a thread from a forum for getting fit and lifting. The very first post has 4 pictures of a man 21 years old 195 lbs at about 7% bodyfat. He's not huge, and not small. I know you'll probably not like the veins, but other than that, wouldn't you want to at least accomplish something near that body? He looks great, is young, strong, fit, etc. (Strong no homo).

  4. Not to take away from his achievement, but what would require a little extra help. Im highly skeptical of him being natural in the second pic. But he looks great. SOOO good on him. This is my motivation.

He is going to be the first to pull 1000 raw, its gonna be god like. On the whole omg hes disgusting about that other pic, I used to think that way, but I was on the outside looking in, but on the inside looking out, it makes sense. If people choose to think that his body type is not ideal, then so be it. Who really cares? IF he wants to juice let him, it dosent take away from his achievements. Hes using everything capable to achieve his goals. People do much more stupid things than juice.

Yea like synthol, now that's just stupid. And good luck bro!

roids for sure. people dont really get that big without em. even some people who take steroids dont get that big.

also one of the best motivations is when the girl youre having sex with actually says you're getting fat.. you know you need to start going to the gym. nothing makes you work harder than vent up frustration

Ummm... genetics dude. If you're not getting that big without roids, then your diet [bleep]ing sucks, you have no idea what you're doing, and don't belong in the gym period.

Most people will definitely say he's on roids because most people don't want to take the [bleep]ing time and get their fat [wagon] into the gym and dedicate some time to accomplish something. Then when they see someone very dedicated they call them obsessed and on roids. [bleep] you.

  5. I find that most women do not like the ridiculously muscular guys attractive, they prefer normal amount of toned muscle. So I'd rather be toned.

Actually women don't find BODYBUILDERS attractive, if that's what you mean. Those guys have some serious muscle mass. 14 and 15 year old girls prefer skinny toned guys with no muscle what so ever as long as they have a pretty face, to be honest. Toning is just cutting all the fat off your body, getting abs and being as skinny as an anorexic. I'd say women (ages 19 and up who are mature) prefer men who are athletic with a decent build.

That actually is really terrible looking. I prefer guys with a bit of muscle, but not anything that excessive.

So you prefer these anorexic guys that think they're ripped?

  6. Go to the gym, try EVERY machine on low weight, let your tendons get used to them and then decide which machine you'll use in your routine. Always start off with 10-20 minutes of cardio to get your body loose and your heart rate up.

Machines suck. Don't use them. Waste of flippin' time. You'll get more out of a push up than any machine out there. Free weights are the best.

Eh.. Machines aren't that bad. Free weights are better in my eyes aswell, but i like to combine. I do both because free weights just feel like an everyday slump to me after a while. Machines are affective aswell and certainly NOT a waste of 'flippin' time.

The only machines that aren't a waste would be the leg press prolly, reverse curls, lat pull down, and maybe the ab machine if you hate crunches.

  7. I used to ski when I was younger but now I much rather prefer snowboarding. Mainly because I was all like "Oh wow boarding is what all the cool guys do!" Lol. I even have a hard time skiing now, can't relearn it haha. But either way I like it better now, after I went on a trip to Wisconsin with my friends and they showed me how to snowboard a LOT better. Now I love it.

When I go with my family, my much older cousin lends me his snowboard that's like $300 :P.

The odd thing is though is that when I used to skateboard I was goofy, then when I tried snowboarding goofy I had a hard time, and then switched to regular and it was a hell lot easier.

The only down side to that though is that regular feels really weird to me but I can actually handle the board a lot easier.

    Nevertheless, snowbarding [bleep]ing rocks. :D

  9. That's just borderline disgusting. And muscle does NOT build that fast. Unless there's some serious steroid use.

I just can't seem to motivate myself to start working out. I really have a lack of motivation to do anything these days. I really need a drive to get myself moving. Hell, I wouldn't mind just becoming a decent runner more than anything.

Hmm, maybe I could go back up to the farm that I worked and lived at for a month this summer. My weight really didn't change while up there, at all, and I don't think I gained much in the way of muscle, if anything.

Typical build and cut, plus he is flexing in the 2nd picture along with oils and tanning lotion.

Um... If he was using oils his skin would be shiny and reflective, but it's not so you're also [developmentally delayed]ed and uneducated. And he's in the same pose, might be flexing a bit, obviously he would, who wouldn't want to show off what they had achieved.

Unfortunately he's standing closer to the camera making him appear larger. He already had all that muscle under the fat. This is very well possible w/o steroids if you're man enough to stick with a strict diet and routine. So please don't just jump to conclusions like that.

  10. http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/2254/15955270.jpg[/img

This guy has been lifting for 11 years but let himself go but was able to pull through and in 6-7 months he completely transformed himself. [bleep]ing crazy. If I ever look that good in 10 years I'll be so [bleep]ing proud of myself.

Sorry but that will never happen without an insane amount of steroid use. That and I think that looks disgusting.

Well I'm sorry if you're too [developmentally delayed]ed to research and find out this is insanely possible without steroids you idiot. Plus the only reason you probably find it disgusting is probably because you're a 120 pound skinny [bleep] who thinks all you need is a set of abs and a 135 lb bench press to be ripped.
