To those who complain that "a charming adventure" sounds too cutesy to relate to the scary ghost voices: could be a pun. This is Jagex, after all. Perhaps the quest gives lots of summoning charms as a reward? Or even a new way of gathering charms in the wilderness?

I'd bet you 30k that Summer is the name of the girl you need to help out, and seeing as she's probably a ghost, could also be described as a 'spirit. Therefore, Spirit of Summer.

i don't know what to think. i'd like a new skill but what would be the use of it? sailing yourself to karamja, the void knight outpost or even lunar isle? what would be the use of the captains n' those customer officers? will they be removed? hope jagex finds some good answers ;)

 

It could be pretty fun actually. First you build your ship. So you get all sorts of wood, metal, etc. Then you sail, and discover new unmaped islands, battle with pirates, dig some treasure, go do some diving, find some new fishing spots and fish, discover eastern(asian-like) lands, new gear, host parties on your boat, team-work minigames, battle other players in boats, new dungeons, battle big sea monsters along the way, and so on. Would be amazing.

Hmm they could even maybe tie it with Treasure Trails.

There's the small issue of a neighbour who's reluctant to let the family leave, but you've dealt with larger problems before, right? A charming adventure awaits, with a few surprises thrown in.

I think this 'neighbor' will be the beast in the voices, i think neighbor is used lightly, maybe he's in a cave near their home, or somewere not letting them leave their home and go on holiday.

I don't really find the need for sailing..build your boat by using oak planks that wastes money and sail to Karamja...when all you need to do is pay 30 gp to some sailor?
