What exactly is it you study anyway, Genetic research?
I'm doing an undergrad in Biology, so I can do research in fields from molecular biology to ecology to biochemistry to genomics to cell biology ect ect.

It's shaped my views on the world. I have way more respect for countries besides the US, I went from Catholic to Agnostic, have slightly less hateful feelings towards marijuana, and I tend to have more support for free choice.
And killing people with a baseball bat is bad.
Killing a bad person isn't bad.
Don't be a moron. Everybody has a right to live, it doesn't make a difference wether or not people are bad, they have the right nonetheless.

My friend wrote a persuasive essay on legalizing marijuana for school today. I read it, and it was very good. He cited sources for almost every fact, and pretty much summed up every reason for it to be legalized. But then he showed it to some of our other friends. Almost all of them saw the word "marijuana" and literally through the papers everywhere and walked away. Yes, they actually admitted they didn't want to read it because they saw "marijuana" written on the top. Talk about closed-minded...
I promised myself I wouldn't post on this thread again. Oh well.
Would you mind posting a copy of that paper on here? I've always wanted to see a well thought out persuasive essay on it. Especially from a student perspective. One of these days, I'll get around to asking ym friend for his paper on "illegalizing" it. Then we can compare. and it's not about quanity of sources, it's about quality. Also, even though I'm adamently against drugs, I agree that tossing the papers is close minded. At the very least, read the paper. Then formulate an opinion. I hate that people assume that I'm close minded simply because I actively diss drug use/users
As long as I'm here, I'd also like to comment on that chart. I also believe ecstacy would be much more dependent, and even much more damaging considering it melts literal holes in your brain. Cocaine is rediculously addictive as well. As far as I know Heroin should be a bit lower, but I haven't looked to into herion.

The kid looks like he spent his teenage years on an online game, and consequentially has no friends in real life. It's a bit sad, but not really. At that age it's quite common that birthday parties will only be family events. What really makes me cry is that mop of hair. It's a sad day when a gamer can't stop no-lifing for long enough to get a haircut.

Think of how awkward high school would be. Especially those classes with females who are especially... esthetically pleasing.
And who have nasty stretched out vaginas cause they [bleep] guys rather often, and there are the girls who have insanely nice bodies and who are really pretty they're just not flashy. that'd be interesting.

I completely cleaned my garage last night, sweeped it, re organized everything, and cleared off the work bench. This morning I started to try to finish building a pipe out of a shot glass I have that's shaped like an easter island head, and I finally finished it. I could still add a choke to it, or extend the mouthpiece, but for the time being it's good.

BTW: completely off-topic, is Tunnelvision a good name for a band?
