This is a very very good idea. As an old runescaper... I remember the ole' cheesy dance move :lol: and a lot other ones which I miss soo much. But I also really like the new one so this idea would solve that :

This is... Fantastic! I'm glad someone actually put this on the RSOF because I've had the same idea for a while now...
I have a skill cape, and it is very annoying not being able to change my characters clothing because I can't take off the cape, and I've yet to be able to go to a pvp world because if I die it would be taken off... So I definitely support this idea :thumbsup:

I really like how this is a f2p guide because there aren't many like this one :
I've always wanted 99 mining and this guide has made me want it even more, so thanks!

I think it all depends on how you want to look at it...
If you don't have much money, you may say the skill that takes the most money is harder.
If you don't have much patience, then you may say the skill that takes the most patience is harder.
Its not just one skill is harder than others. Because other people have other weaknesses and strengths... :

And for all you people saying Herblore is hard... It took me about 2m to get lvl 60. So I don't think I would call that hard lol

Done with rcing how? You are only 51, you are nowhere near "done" rc, nor would you have anywher near enough money for 99 herblore.
Thats my point... I'm moving at a very slow pace to get my 99 herblore and rcing hahahaha

Glad I got my 70 pray when I did, in just a few short days the new update has made 62-70 pray on a gilded altar .9mil more expsensive than when I did it X.X

Seeing that I'm going for 99 RCing... I want to make my achievement look better so... RCING! :P
Me and a Friend chose to race between me getting 99 rcing purely f2p, and him getting 99 smithing purely f2p. We chose those skills because they were ones of the hardest and longest f2p skills. (Well, we thought so anyways...)
I find RCing very relaxing. When you get bored, you can try and get more FOG points for gloves, and other times when you're bored you can do The Great Orb Project to get free rune ess.

I dont really understand why jagex dont do a major update to make firemaking usefull. They add some minigame which is mostly there to get more xp in the useless skill, yet dont really come up with something to make it usefull. And there are loads of great ideas (some of these arent mine ofcourse):
- Burning down thick vegetation for shortcuts
- Scaring away small creatures with fire (torches)
- Fires giving some sort of a restoration effect when near them (quicker stat restoration, and maybe even small stat boosts) to simulate warming up at a fire
- Furnace heating, making a furnace hotter so less coal is required for smelting
- Signaling certain npcs using smokesignals
- Setting arrows on fire, to let them deal extra (fire) damage
- Duration of fires determined by the type of log
- Better cooking rates with higher quality fires
- Setting logs on fire without tools (at a higher level ofcourse), real firemakers can use wood on wood to make fire.
- Adding logs to a fire to reset the duration and give you some xp (so big lines of fires arent neccesary)
- Small bushes to be set on fire across runescape, so you wont need logs for a fire at some spots.
- Burning down thick vegetation with a chance of discovering small (metal) objects in them.
Those are some pretty good ideas. (Bolded ones I liked most) But I think at lvl 99 fm (me :
) You should be able to make fires without a tinderbox because I don't think lvl 100 fm would be much of an extra level like it is in cooking... I mean what does it do? And they need to update some of the skill cape emotes... badly.

Haha thats funny. Im excited for the French worlds. Im taking french in school right now and I've always wanted to have a reason to play RS while doing my french homework. :P and I'm surprised I knew what he said. WOOT :

For those saying this is a bad month, not all of us like huge boss monsters or annoying mini-games. Diaries are really fun for me. Things like the GWD don't appeal to me at all.
Nicely said. I agree, Achievement diaries were like the first thing I did when I became a member. Although i haven't completed all of the levels I enjoyed doing them. Im excited to see the new emote. And to the Christmas event and quest: I can't wait for the santa suit, I almost have enough money for a santa hat :

Don't worry what other people say about getting the so called "nooby skill capes". I mainly started out getting 99 fm because I love the color orange, but after I started I really enjoyed it and along the way I met really great people that have been great friends ever since. I've even convinced like 4 people to get 99 fm.

Yea, I agree. Jagex are coming out with great emotes lately. I wish they would make the firemaking skill cape emote like the Trick emote and substitute the bats for fire. Lol. I cant wait for the Christmas emote I hope its as good as the more resent ones.

Haha... This is awesome! When I got on earlier Turkeys were everywhere... And btw idk if they fixed it yet or not but on w34 in fallys general store there was a turkey that responded like a split second after you killed it lol.

Whoa whoa whoa... Im not against celebrating other holidays. Holidays are great. You get to spend time with family, away from school, and have fun. Lol... If you weren't talking about me just ignore this i couldn't really tell.

Unless Mod Timbo is a developer, what he says doesn't mean crap. I just Paul's words over anyone else's, as well, seeing as he is the HEAD of development.
Further pointing towards bogus information is the fact that the updates in the BTS are have always previously been listed in chronological order. So that would break that trend if Halloween occurred before PvP worlds. We'll know tomorrow, anyhow.

I can't wait for the pvp update to come out and I REALLY hope the H'ween item will be the flying broomstick which lost by like 1% in the 07 poll to the stupid Grim Reaper Hood. Come on people!!! A stupid Grim Reaper Hood when you could fly!?
