    I was just gazing at the picture in the update message and noticed two flaws

    1) I don't get it. What's wrong with mages in PvP?

     

     

     

    2) It could be that the ranger is attacking a far-off target (off the picture) and the meleer just left combat. In other words, those two may not be fighting each other at all.

     

     

     

    I was just mocking the fact that mage is the most underpowered combat skill :P

     

     

     

    well if the ranger is attacking someone off screen that doesn't answer why none of them 3 have a skull lol

    More easily hit while not attacking

    Is it somewhere officially confirmed that you have "lower defence" while not attacking an enemy? I have never heard of such a thing but I am convinced that one is much more easily hit while not actively attacking the "attacker" so to speak.

     

    You can often notice this while eating during a fight, at least I do. Very often when I eat while being a attacked, I get hit, while I perhaps very rarely get hit by that monster/NPC otherwise.

     

     

     

    What is your view on this? Is it just random? Is it confirmed somewhere officially? If so, where?

     

     

     

    I think this question might be related to the question *if you are attacking and getting def xp are you getting hit less?*

    Mage needs an overhaul!

    After trying to mage in new Bh worlds I was fighting a player with full rune and me using fire bolt and bind he keeps hitting through my armor and when i bind him and take a few staps back he is attacking me again..... F2P NEEDS SNARE and atleast air wave!

    Now, I'm usually one of those people that are against pking, saying that the updates removing the wilderness didn't bother me at all. But with the recent update bringing PvP back into the spotlight of RuneScape, I decided... Sure... what the hell, I'll go try to get some kills.

     

     

     

    So I made my way out into the wilderness, and I found a group of higher levels that I thought surely I could get a good DM out of one of them. While standing there, a level 122 starts attacking me (I'm a 119). So we start fighting, I come out of the gate hitting a few 20's, and get him low on health. He eats his way back up, and we get about even again. Then when I get low on health and eat, he calls me a safer. I just shrugged it off because I know that it's just another insult from immature kids when they're losing. Then once again, I gain the upper hand and he eats back to higher health, and I get low. Of course I eat and get called a safer again. After he realized that he probably wasn't going to win, he said, "Forget this safer", and ran off.

     

     

     

    I don't know if it's just me, but people like that just make me hate PvPing. If you're winning, you're a noob, if they're winning, you're a noob. I know people are going to come in here and say, it's part of pking, or deal with it... But if you're going to say that, don't post at all. I doubt I go back into the wild for more PvPing, just for the fact that I'd rather not waste my time eating half my food then have someone run away from me.

     

     

     

    I'd like to hear why you think Pking is amazing like everyone says it is, or on the other hand, why you stay out of the wilderness.

     

     

     

     

     

    Just remember that in the end the one who runs is the noob \'

     

     

     

    BTW most turn public chat off while pking anyway :thumbsup:

    [First and foremost there is no trade. There is no exchange of goods, no wealth passed between characters.

     

     

     

    Secondly there is no consumption. No one is using the goods produced, and they just sit.

     

     

     

    Lastly there is no production. No one is producing anything, nothing is generated.

    So I was in f2p new bh worlds, I had been in the hot zone for 30 mins risking 70k and I had no armor on (Im a monk robe pure :thumbsup: ), and I pjed this full rune b axe 24 i got the drop..........

     

     

     

    but the drop was only a power ammy, str ammy and rune hatchet!

     

     

     

     

     

    Btw he was not my targ..........

     

     

     

     

     

    but still shouldint I get a better drop?

    hmm im a pure....69 cb :thumbsup: p2p................ i can help! :thumbup: i would get hmmmmmm 80 str 60 attk 72 mage dds and d scim(70 cb) always train attk and str first!!!! not def \' at 50 cb get from 40 attack to 60. then 72 mage ( and desert treasure) then all str all the way! (rock crabs or flesh crawlers or yaks.. are the best xp NOT money.) (you could also get 50+ range and go green drags for easy fast money =]) BTW youtube has great pure guides for str attk mage and range :ugeek:

    help for a low lvl pk-er

    i have 60 attk, 73 str,48 mage 43-prayer-11 def :wall: -58 range-65 hp- 66 cb.

     

     

     

    i cant seem to k0 people with my dds because their normally eat like crazy. and since i ONLY use my dds to pk :? i was wondering if i could potentially be a tanker/ddser or somthing elz like a ddser or a Ancienter/ddser but i cant seem to train mage cheaply and with good xp or i could do monkey madness but that would be a bear :( thanks, wildy0wns70
