Teleport to Port Sarim Loadstone to begin the fun.
Come one come all and help me deforest/defoliate the area of Asgarnia between Rimmington, Port Sarim, the White Knight Camp and the Graveyard and then kill all the pesky little goblins hiding in there. We want no one hugging a tree on National Hug day.
There is woodcutting, fletching or fire-making experience as well as experience in combat to be gained. I wonder who will gain the most levels.
Do you think we can keep the area clear of trees and goblins for a whole hour?
You only need the most basic skills to help out, along with an axe, tinderbox and a knife. Perhaps the gods will look kindly on us and send us some Manna from heaven by way of a few helpful items.

Hi, It's been a long time. Just popped in to say good luck with the event. :)

Secure Haven is the quiet, friendly, supportive, mature clan you have been looking for.
In Secure Haven we dont believe in strict requirements, we want you to chat, joke and have fun.
You will find that very soon Secure Haven feels like home from home so, put the kettle on, draw up a chair, kick off your shoes and relax. If you have had a bad day at work or school you will always find someone within Secure Haven to brighten your day. (Even if it is only Calcarb and her bad jokes).
We are a fairly new clan with 61 active members (inactive members are removed periodically).
Our Citadel is on the verge of becoming a level 3, and we have regular events but none of this is compulsory.
Bring yourself to the clan with and open mind and a desire just to have fun. Contribute just as much as you want but I am sure that very soon you will be joining in everything. Secure Haven makes even the most boring tasks fun.

This week the Social Net clan will be going to the King Black Dragon.

Coin Share will be activated during the event. If you are worried about losing your best armour you are advised to invest in some Steel or Bronze. :)

This week the Social Net clan will be going dungeoneering beginning at floor 1.
Saturday 18th February 2012, 11pm RSOF time.
If you are new to Dungeoneering speak to the Fremennik guy just behind the bank in Al-Kharid and he will sail you to Daemonheim. When you get there run west to the Castle and just outside the courtyard you will find the Dungeoneering Tutor who will explain everything to you and give you the ring you need.
World 66 (81 f2p). We meet at the Social Net Citadel Theatre where we will organise our teams. If you are f2p we will meet in the Castle courtyard in Daemonheim.

Social Net's event this week will be a cabbage drop conga to Catherby where we will fish for our supper.
Saturday 11th February 2012.
Please collect a few cabbages for the drop some time this week, the fishing spots at Catherby include big net fishing as well as barbarian fishing for shark and everything in between.

As this may be MY last event for the Tip.it Event Team and it is not posted on the home page I would like to draw your attention to it.

Thanks to everyone who made this a wonderful party. I now have steel armour and feel a lot safer in Classic. You may find me shuffling around more often now, it has certainly shown me what a good time can be had in the Classic game.

"Baby's First MMORPG"
Loved this articlel, RuneScape is a very complex game which in my opinion teaches real life skills. In a world where youngsters think they can have it all, RuneScape shows that you have to work for what you get. People playing other games should come over to RuneScape and try it out for more than a couple of hours and then say that it is 'baby's first MMORPG'.
Yes, I am of the very much older generation around almost before electricity was invented, but I enjoy RuneScape for the diversity. I don't just have to run round killing things or skilling, I can sit in the general exchange and gosip or I can join in one of the many many events which other players put on 'just for fun'.
Baby's first MMORPG? Rubish. RuneScape is a community.
