  1. I was looking at the armor set that appears to be standing up in front of the anvil almost like it is under some sort of magical force.

Yes, there's a similar magic in the real world that makes coats and hats do the same. They go by the names of coat rack and hat stand.

Looks like some sort of animated armor?

Actually it's the dwarven burial armour, that's what it says in the BTS:

Life as a dwarf must also be fraught with danger, as there is also a constant demand for dwarven burial armour, the creation of which is taught within the workshop’s walls, which should prove useful for anyone from levels 30-70 Smithing.

I was looking at the armor set that appears to be standing up in front of the anvil almost like it is under some sort of magical force. Perhaps there is some magic involved with the creation of the armor?

  3. The fact that there are rune guardians and a raven chick too leads me to believe that someone found out how to do this using their pets. Someone with too many sneekerpeepers. So he released all his pets here somehow glitching them to wander around as npcs to Peeper-bomb the goblin village.

Yea probably. Saw a guy with a Sneakerpeeper pet at Dunj and he told me to go to castlewars to see a butload of them wandering around.

  4. Have you ever considered testing full void+deflector+acp?

I've tried void once, i'd only recommend it in a team of atleast 5+ people where you wont get hit as much, otherwise you'll just be taking constant damage.

I'm about to attempt this in a trio and I'm 87 range/ 90 defense. Are you saying it's going to suck? Damn I'm gonna die aren't I? #-o

  5. Looks like a good month, I wonder if free trade/wilderness will get thrown in as well.

Na, that should take another few months I bet.

To the above: I dont think they would make the D-CB ammoless. Prolly the Godsword equivalent of a crossbow

You're wrong, Mod MMG said it will take a few days to implement.

There is now way it would only take a few days to bring free trade and the old wilderness back- at least not the way they want to. Sure they could just remove the trade restrictions/caps and make it so you drop all your items on death in the wilderness... but that wouldn't be very responsible would it? They would still have to test everything for exploits and relocate/ consider all the current non-pvp content in the wilderness.

  6. I got a blue mask from a clue as well.

I got lucky and swapped it for a red one (he payed me actually).

I just sold It to a friend using an arma cloak as junk (they crashed); yesterday the street was almost to ge value so you could always try selling at max.

Keep in mind that getting junk is not worth it unless you can create junk value faster than you can generate gp.

  7. Sara actually heals 2x your damage. Also the arrows' special effect occurs twice as often if used with the appropriate bow.

But that aside- I'm trying to buy one and I am wondering how the street price will behave in the next few days (if anyone has any sort of inclination at this point).

  8. how much is arma full helm, i got one and dont know what its worth

additionally what would be my best bet to get a fury kit?

Like what aslan said god bows or higher end dragon masks (black, all metal masks and frost). Right now there are a lot of people trying to get a hold of them. I put an offer in ge about 3 seconds after it updated and still don't have one and have been trying to snipe one for the past 4 days. So i am guessing there are a lot of people trying to snipe them as well.

I have been trying to snipe one of each of the God Bows since the first GE update; I missed only two of the updates by more than 10 minutes- the others I mostly got within a few seconds of the update. 2 of them I already had the GE window open (but still no luck). So I would have to agree- there are a LOT of people trying to get these.

  9. "The Anti-dragon shield (Dungeoneering) is an alternate form of the Anti-dragon shield, released along with the Dungeoneering skill. It has a completely different look than the traditional shield and can usually only be used within Daemonheim. It has a different alchemy value than the Anti-dragon shield.

The Dungeoneering anti-dragon shield has no negative mage/ranged attack bonus, as well as a slight mage defence bonus. But it otherwise has roughly the same melee defence bonuses as a novite (Tier 1) kiteshield (with the anti-dragon shield having even lower stab defence, marginally higher slash defence, and equal crush defence, when compared to a novite kiteshield). The Anti-dragon shield, with Its slight stab/slash/crush defence bonuses along with not having any negative magic attack bonus, would be a decent shield for a mage to wield. A melee fighter (provided one is not facing a dragon) would be better off with any Tier 2 (bathus) kiteshield or higher.

It is a common drop from many monsters and can be commonly found on the starting tables. Due to an update at the end of June 2010, smuggling this shield or any other item from Daemonheim has been fixed, resulting in the escalation of this shields' price. It is currently one of the few use-able items that were taken out of Daemonheim and can be equipped outside of the area it was intended to be used in. Although JaGex has fixed the method for the "smuggling" of items like this, they said that they did not wish to remove the items from players' banks claiming it to be "too much of a hassle". However, as of 24 June 2010 Jagex prevented any smuggle dungeoneering items from being traded, the items crumbling to dust when offered up in a trade. Accounts with shields that had been traded to them were not banned, as they abused no bug themselves, and could keep their shields. They were still wieldable after the patch, although attempting to drop, or offering them in a trade would make them disappear.

In the time between 12 April, and 24 June (between release and trade patch) the shields were being sold in excess of 100m in world 2, however it had a trade price of 1200 gp, and with its inability to change through GE demand made it incredibly hard to pay these high prices for, as few people would have that amount of junk. It was speculated to be the next half-wine by players, although since the patch it is more similar to the next Lathas' Amulet.

Note: The' Anti-dragon Shield' and its Dungeoneering version have the exact same stat bonuses. The smuggled shield also protects against dragonfire on regular dragons."

  10. Has anyone else been doing level 1 clues? I just spent a few hours at H.A.M. and completed many clues. But it seems worse than normal. After all the clues I made about 600k... not very good form what I am used to.

It could be a bad streak- but i was just wondering if anyone else had the same sub-par results.

  11. If only the dungeon loaded right at the beginning so it doesn't have to load each room separately.

^ It would be much better to load the entire dungeon and then just fog up the unexplored rooms or something like that. The loading is really annoying especially if you have a poor ping or a slow connection; in that moment of loading I've accidentally run into a boss room on a few occasions
