Just to remind you, this is just a discussion. And I just suggested this. you don't all have to agree with me.

Look at the list that omali gave of all the things that f2pers have received ABSOLUTELY FREE OF CHARGE.
And then the guy is posting saying (oh they are all stupid no one does them).
Seriously, MOST f2pers are like wild animals...you feed them once and they will never leave you alone.
I know when I was f2p I didn't even look at the ads. Bluelancer said that the add clicks make jagex 1 million dollars a year?
Lets look at the 1million members that jagex has(absolutely minimum). 1 Million x $7 us a month, x 12 months = $84 000 000.
Why should jagex be spending time and money to give update for 1/85 of their revenue?
There are less than 1,000,000 members on the game and do you know what happens to RuneScape without its Free Players? If it has ALWAYS been a P2p game???
And hehe, I bet you've never read or heard about customer service...

Yea seriously, what have they gotten in the past year?
assist system, duel arena, more bank space, removing the massive amounts of bots, Grand Exchange, graphics updates, Bounty HUnter, Fist of Guthix, coinshare, Christmas 07, Easter 08, Halloween 08, Gnomecopters, GE Database, Party Pete, Quick Chat, Runescape HD, item lending, bank update, runecrafting guild, trade margin increase, pvp worlds.
If Jagex can't see how they're starving the Lumbridge Squirrels of the hard earned and paid for content then...I'm sorry, what? Oh! This is a thread about f2p not getting enough content?
Wow, ungrateful children. If you want more stuff, get members. Otherwise, you contributed nothing to the game, why should Jagex reward you with MORE stuff than they already have in the past year? What, getting two updates a month for a full year wasn't good enough for your high expectations?
F2P 'noobs' begging for updates? I think not. Take the time to look around.

Now, if you compare the two, you'll notice that the only people who actually support giving F2P updates, are a few members, and new F2P players. You'll also see that all those who are against giving F2P updates, are the long time F2P'ers(as compared to the ones who play for a month, demand more stuff, then quit) and members.
Contrary to what many members such as Omali assume, not all F2P'ers are pathetic beggers who just keep wanting more.Next time, do you homework before you say something.

Actually... The corrupt dragon is kinda worthless... You could see people using it on Clan wars usually. But look, it costs so much and it only increased its price in G.E because its original price was very high too.
Im not just fighting for the free players. I also found something unfair for the P2p's as well. But I don't plan on ruining RuneScape...
Hey, isn't it unfair that the corrupt dragon only works for 30 minutes?? I suggest they make a weapon for F2p's that can compete with the dragon weapons but cost i dont know... really high like: 12 mil for a scimmy so only a few could buy it and the F2p's wouldn't easily get tired of it..

Awesome! I like the idea... There are some times when I'd right click a player and then get surprised to NOT see and examine thing then I'd remember... Its a player.. :wall:

I suggest that they give a new quest or new item for the Free players as well and try to give them some leg room...
I know that they wont profit from this but since the free players (cant afford the upgrade or can't buy it because of their location) don't get a single new quest or a new weapon that could somehow compete with the mems then most of them just quit RS and say bad stuff about because of frustration or something...
I suggest that they make a weapon for free players that could compete with the mems dragon. Make it rare so that the f2p's won't easily get tired of it. Also a new quest every few months would be great...

Hmm.. Thanks for the replies and stuff... I realized something. I have not played RuneScape for months now. I tried checking all the updates that you listed here. The F2p's did get a lot of updates. The FoG has a new shield and things. Theres also the corrupt dragon for the Pkers. I was surprised though... Jagex has never given this much updates in the past years... Well anyway, you could choose to expand this discussion all you want. Just wanted to let you know that, I got what I wanted.
