If you enjoy bots, spammers, gold farmers and jagex not caring about what updates they make, now is the perfect time to come back!
Not going to lie, the F2P grandexhange was littered with just that. It's a shame to hear it had spread to P2P too, but I guess that's to be expected.
Can you shed any light on the trade cap removal?

It's dungeoneering which is the new one to me.
And although summoning was out before I left, I never payed much attention to it, and doubt I ever will, sorry for my figures, I just pulled it out of the air xD.

Hey everyone,
Recently, I randomly decided to play runescape for the first time in about 2 years, but unsurprisingly the F2P limits annoyed my P2P adjusted mind.
So I figure sometime next week I might go ahead and buy a member ship card, and see if I can get my old love for this game back.
The thing is, It's completely different now to the game I remember xD. The grand exchange looks completely different, I'm suddenly hitting close to the 100's in attacks, everyone is wearing snazzy clan capes (although I'll never unequip my mining cape) and there are about 3 new skills that werent there when I left off.
To give you a sort of time frame, after leaving runescape I sort of came back for tiny half hour bursts every few weeks to months. The last thing I remember doing, is buying a dragon pickaxe right when they first came out, seeing the average price drop, selling it, then getting pretty damn pissed when the price escalated by millions (Or was that just my imagination?)
It's a massive ask, but I'd really appreciate it if someone could give me an ultra quick round up of some of the bigger updates since then, what should I look into to try and get myself reintressted? My stats are far from the best, but I'll be working on them. Especially fletching, I'll probably end up power leveling so I can give my mining cape a nice trim.
On a final note, I noticed a lot of people asking for ludicrous amounts of cash from me. It's not the begging that caught my eye, it's the fact they all seemed convinced that I would be able to give them large sums of money. I asked one about it and he told me Jagex got rid of the trade limit, is that true?
So thanks for reading this, everyone. Apologies in advanced if it is in the wrong forum, obviously It's not only runescape I need to get readjusted to,
Toby
(PS, some of the older members here might remember me as the annoying kid who posted a thread everytime he leveled up in mining, hey to all and i've grown up a lot since then xD)

To get the best xp:speed ratio
You use Dagganoths bones of a guilded altar
To get the best cost:xp ratio
You want to use dragon bones on the ectofunctus
Okay, thanks much.
-
Im wondering if using dragon bones on gilded alters is still the best way to train prayer, or if buying more of a bone that gives less exp would be better
-
I heared a while back that in an update house alters where changed so only one person could give bones on them at a time.
As I have recently come back from runescape after being gone for months, im wondering if its still like that, or if i remembered that wrong.

You can buy them its just best to let the price stabilize first.
Put an offer in for max and leave it a day if you really want one.
Done that since the day it came out, and updated it to max every few hours, trust me. You can't buy one atm.

So yeah, a dragon pickaxe has been added, wewt.
Theres one bad thing about it though- you can't buy one :wall:
I understand that this happens allmost everytime a new item is introduced, but, how long do you think it will be untill we can actually buy dragon pickaxes of the grand exchange?

New problem, putting a fully functioning google maps type map into a powerpoint presentation. I dont mean an image of one, but a proper one that you can drag around and stuff. I know already that google maps doesnt work, and want to see if theres anything similar out-there that can help me.

Go clan merch with some friends and dump early to [bleep] the [bleep] over, they deserve it.
:twss:
Nah, I dont want to clan merch lol.
-
So I decided to start merching, and I know its basicly buying then waiting for it to go up in price before selling, but I would like a quick overview, how am I supposed to know when it will rise in price? What items are good and how much should I invest? (im NOT clan merching- thats evil)

A guy at my school made his account p2p and had it macro. 1 month later he was banned.
Same, a friend of mine did it too. I told him it wasn't worth being banned and he replied saying he wouldn't get caught. He got caught the next day and quit. What an idiot.
That happened to this dude at my school.

Aha, thanks to everyone, but especially Will H and Newb. I'm pretty damn pleased about the wilderness/trade cap limit, so on friday I'll buy a 3 month membership card and see where that takes me.
