  1. Ever since he hooked up with some girl he met online from NY he's gotten a nasty attitude. Show's no respect for my parents cussing at them left and right, raising his hands to them it's horrible how disrespectful he is. Today his girlfriend is coming over the house (There's a thunderstorm warning so it'll probably rain) for 1 hour to hang out, 1 hour? Really I mean what the hell is that? I honestly don't think that's worth a trip from NY to NJ and back just to "hang out" for 1 hour.

     

     

     

    Now onto the other stuff that annoys me, He wants to date this girl but he has no job no source of income except for the money he gets for lunch for school which he saves I guess to take her out or if she pays I don't know and don't really care. He wants my mom to give him $40 bucks so he can treat her to a movie my mother told him no because we really cant afford it to give him that kind of money to go out and have his fun.

     

     

     

    He then wants my mother to give him $40 dollars for a monthly metro card as well so he can walk his girlfriend home every day from work. Again really, if you want to have a girlfriend get a damn job work and be able to afford to take her out don't be dependent on my parents to pay for your fun times and then get pissed off at them when they tell you no cause they can't afford it.

     

     

    It just pisses me off and I really would love to knock the **** out of him for talking to my parents the way he does. Feel free to comment if you like, I don't really care I needed a place to vent and this is the "Off Topic" forum so it went here. If a moderator sees this topic unfit for this forum feel free to lock or move it.

  2. Not the most painful thing, but I freaking HATE those calf muscle cramps. Cot damn you feel so helpless because if you just move your leg it will come back and murder you. And they come so suddenly. You could be chilling in bed in th emiddle of the night next thing you know bam you're in tears as your calf muscle is about to rip itself apart :wall:

  3. I don't remember it at all because I was really little, but I supposedly put my whole hand inbetween an open door and the door edge, on the side that it opens so it closes faster. Does this make sense?

     

     

     

    Anyway the door closed (and it is a big heavy door) completely on my hand. \'

    Sometimes I get the odd pimple on my back and try popping it. This sounds weak but it really isn't. I'm usually pretty damn good with pain. But those back pimples that don't pop and hurt so badly. Tears just naturally come out and I'm almost drooling with veins bursting out of my forehead when I do it. :P

  4. Do you have tonsils?

     

     

     

    If so, grab a flashlight and something long and kind of sharp (bamboo skewer is good, toothpick is ok but kind of short) shine in the back of your mouth and gently examine around your tonsils and check for any white lumps and remove them.

     

     

     

    Sometimes I get them, and it will make my breath smell like the nasty brown stuff you can scrape from under your toenails. I have a flap of skin that covers half my tonsil so it kind of sucks to get behind it and when I do it is like hitting the motherlode.

  5. Do heavier weights, if at the end of a set you aren't breathing hard or have a red face or arent in another way tired, you're doing it wrong. You probably want a weight that you can do around or under 10 reps of.

     

     

     

    Do more big compound movements and less small isolation movements.

     

     

     

    Work out all your muscles, don't just be some "bench and curls" idiot

     

     

     

    Increase your calorie intake and preferably eat cleaner foods.

  6. I hate to sound like one of those " I was gonna join, but" type of guys, but unfortunately it is taht way for now :(

     

     

     

    I was in the USMC DEP and not even far from shipping when I started getting injuries and pains. That resulted in my ship date getting pushed back several times and pretty much not being able to do sh1t for a while. After sitting around doing nothing for so long I started losing a lot of motivation to continue going through with it. I spoke with my uncle who had something like 22 years in the Coast Guard and I decided that with all this going on right now and me losing the drive to do it that I'll just go back to college for a couple semesters and play it out and my injuries/problems will hopefully have been fixed by then, or will be pretty much that I'm screwed in which case I'll just have to completely forget about joining. Joining is still definitely an option if/when I'm all healed up

  7. FOr the longest time it has been one of my dreams in life to just pack a small bag and go on a journey. Sleep every night in a different location and spend most of the day walking, exploring, traveling, or just resting whatever I feel like. Contact with other humans would be avoided unless absolutely necessary. I would return home maybe several months later, maybe a year maybe years, who knows. I might even chicken out and be back within a day or two. Or hell, even just find some woods in the remote wilderness and live there for aw hile. Set up a cabin or treehouse, bathe in the river, gather my own food and supplies...

     

     

     

    Like I said it has been one of my dreams for a very long time, so I didn't just suffer a break up or something else like that and am being emo. Sure it would be great to get away from the daily grind and all the BS (and there's lots of that) of modern society. But mainly I am attraceted to the sense of freedom, of adventure, self reliance, etc that a journey like this seems to entail.

    I dunno why people are only takling about fast food restaurants.. the OP made no mention of it being fast food only. Unless everyone honestly prefers a nasty fast food joint over a less nasty sit down place..

  9. It depends, if I just show up and the person(s) is doing nothing wrong and it's obvious me joining in will result in slower xp for all involved.

     

    If they are acting tough or hogging efverything with a bad attitude or tell me to leave chances are I'll stay just to piss them off.

  10. Sellling my party hat for 3k about a week after they came out. And I was so happy at the time that sucker gave me 3k for a worthless item!

     

     

     

    Too many failed attempts at pking. It wasn't worht that much gold but with inflation it probably is equivalent to mils in today's standards.

     

     

     

    Poor money and time management.

     

     

     

    Doing some things which led to my account getting stolen (no nothing against illegal or against TOS) took me about a year to finally get it back. WOuldn't have been *that* bad if the [wagon] who stole it had actually used it and gained some levels.. all I got was maybe 30k fishing xp.

  11. Anyone remember when members was introduced they offered 12 months for like 40 dollars instead of 60? (I may be wrong about the exact price)

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    IMO for a permanent or very extended membership to even be worthwhile at all it would either have to be a ridiculous discount price and/or a lot of other incentives such as priority support and other doohickeys either available on rs itself or on the website.

  12. well recently i've started devolping a slight bulge on the stomach, or as some call it a "pot-belly". bsically i'm looking for a way to strengthen my arms/legs while working my "bulge" into a bit more muscle as myself and a mate are entering the defence force this June. at the moment, each day i do a 2km walk followed by 20 chin-ups and 30 sit-ups. is there anything else creative i can do? just in case its said no i dont own a Weights set, but we do have a local Gym (which charges a fortune).
