Yeah it was more to do with tricking the game into thinking you had an item rather than 'downloading a cheat'.

In Runescape Classic, a group of people downloaded a cheat to Runescape that let them duplicate any items nonstackable, such as party hats, christmas crackers, and dragon square shields. The economy was balanced out that day as thousands of christmas crackers and pink party hats came in to the economy. Stuff like dragon squares and helms was also duped. Jagex offered a reward which was lifetime membership to whoever told them who did it. The starter of the duped told jagex he did it in hope for lifetime membership. A reward it was, the reward of all the earth, a permanent IP ban.

well if you are with your twin, while they are doing a crime, then you deserve to be put in jail with them.
You wouldn't have a choice, being attached at the hip.

After listening to some Ricky Gervais radio show round a friends house where he talked about siamese twins and one having a job and one not it got me thinking. What would happen if there were siamese twins joined at the hip, and one commited a crime, would they both be held responsible? What if one was sentanced to jail, how would that work? They are both still two people with 2 different brains and different thoughts etc.
Maybe it's their responsbility to stop it? Why should it be? It's not my responsibility to stop someone shooting someone if i see it happening in the street. What if there was no way they could stop it? Like a random knife attack.

If it were bug abuse you'd be gaining an advantage in some way.
Thats totally wrong, sometimes doesn't have to give you advantage to make it a bug.

The part about the first Abyssal Whips being 150M worth seems inaccurate. I remember the first ones going for 50-55M.
It was a good read and I agreed with a lot of the choices. Nicely done:)
I thought one went on Rune Village for 150m in items.

I would like a logo with a angel riding on the back of a dolphin. Now I know it sounds a bit weird, but yeah :P . I also need some text putting on it. But the graphic is the main part. Hi guys, the last time I properly played was about 4 or 5 years ago. For one reason or another I decided to log on my account to check everything was in order.
It seems like a lot of things have changed! It's nice that I still recognise a few names on the IRC channel - however not many people popping up on the in-game friends list.
