  1. Alright, I've looked at a bunch of guides for Rogue Trader and this is making me sooooo mad.

Why are my runes so expensive? Everyone talks about making soo much profit off them but cosmics are 230 ea, natures 380 ea just as examples. The only rune for a profit is death runes for me

  2. Assuming its an entirely different server with reset stats etc. I really doubt it would share a grand exchange with the current servers.

I didn't mean it as that if thats how you perceived it. The grand exchange scenario I was pointing out was for a completely new grand exchange on the new server.

  3. Alright, I hope some of you agree with me on this one. First, since I know a lot of people have been playing a long time, maybe some of us will remember.

I started playing in 04, and I remember the first time I saw a lvl 126. I was like "wow!". It was months until I saw a 126 too. Yet today, go to the GE and count the number of 130+'s. Quite a few. In fact I don't go a single day without seeing a player that is at least 125. On top of that, how many people do you see wearing skill capes everyday? Go to the GE and count on just one world. Probably 3 or 4 people.

Back when I started playing a level 70 was considered a fairly high level, dragon longsword was one of the most common weapons, and you didn't lose money if you made mage longs and alched them.

    So here is my idea.

Jagex should make a new "server". When I say a new server I mean that a server where there are no players yet. Everyone that logs onto this server is a level 3, all their stats are 1. This obviously would be an optional switch, and I would think some others like me would play it. So its still just runescape, just a new server thats a complete reset of everyone's stats. It would even give new players a chance to be #1 at something.

Right off the start, I can see 1 problem with this idea: The Grand Exchange. People might start to get some money, and try to buy objects that are still extremely rare, example: any godsword. Or perhaps an item that does not exist yet, maybe one a divine spirit shield as an example.

My fix to this, Jagex should just make it so if an item doesn't exist yet (as in it hasn't been obtained yet), it won't be an option on the GE.

Here is another scenario to run by yourself:

What happens when even more people start getting 99s and the game is maxed out. When I say maxed I mean that more and more people are beating it. Getting 99s, beating all the quests, everything. Most skills are already maxed out. Here are some of them:

    • Smithing - Goes straight up to 99, completely maxed out.
    • Herblore - Overload at 96, not really any room left to expand.
    • Crafting - Basically maxed out, onyx amulet at 87. There is some expansion room left.
    • Cooking - Summer pie at 95. Basically maxed out, but Jagex can add other genres of food.
    • Fishing - Rocktail at 90. Can't go much higher without outrageous heal amounts
    • Mining - What are we going to mine past runite?

Obviously there are arguments for and against what I just said.

So everyone, please comment and add suggestions and perhaps would create a very well written suggestion and submit it to Jagex. I'm confident if enough people give their ideas we might be able to get a very good, and well thought out article that Jagex would definitely consider.

  4. I'm a somewhat old timer you could say at runescape, I joined in 2004.

The old wilderness scared the crap out of me when I was a lower level. As I get to a higher level I was still cautious going out there because I knew there were pures who could end me so fast. I would do my treasure trails out there with nothing but 3 items to keep.

I just started playing again after a 3 year break and I couldn't believe this wilderness ditch thing, and now I find out you don't even get the items they are wearing? Wtf is this?

  5. Alright so I just started playing again after a 3 and a half year break, and a lot is new to me. For one the grand exchange and lending.

I was thinking about lending my whip out to make some cash, but what should I use as my so-called "junk" product to give them?

    And another question about trading,

When I am trading someone normally, does the "wealth transfer" thing go off the market price or the maximum/minimum market price or what? Example, I have 10 yew logs selling at 485-510 ea on the GE. The market price is 498 ea. If I trade someone to sell them, and he posts 5k, will it say a wealth transfer or 20 gp to me, or would he have to post up 5.2k and it would say a wealth transfer or 100 gp?

  6. Ok. So right now I'm getting hacked. Great, no?

The hacked must be really good, since it's the first time getting hacked. In 8 years.

He changed the pass of my main email, I recovered TWICE but he keep changing.

He also changed my YouTube pass. And he's probably watching me ATM.

The problem is I'm using Keyscrambler Premium, so it's impossible he's keylogging me. Or not probable.

Does anybody have ANY idea to stop him from doing more damage? I just don't want him to do serious [cabbage].

    Want proof?

I know this is my first post but trust me on this. Last summer I got a keylogger so I spent some major time learning how to make them and how they run, so I could learn to protect myself better. You know, think like the criminal to catch the criminal.

Are you using firefox? If so, a VERY common thing hackers do is look at the saved passwords file for firefox. Same thing can be done for other web browsers but firefox's is mega easy to do.

Keyscrambler didn't always work against the keyloggers I tested. It is way too much for me to explain why but it is because programs still need the right key like if you're typing in "tip.it" then your web browser needs to get "tip.it", not "adb.lg" so it is very likely they have cracked the algorithms that keyscrambler uses.

Get a port scanner and monitor and check your ports. Look at the logs and if you see some ports like FTP or Email ports being used every minute or so that is how he is uploading the info to himself.
