  1. Looking at the average, theoretical profit (outcome minus income, income being the bigger) of dagannoth kings, what'd be most profitable?; dagannoth prime and supreme or dagannoth rex.

It won't really cost me that much to kill dagannoth prime and supreme except for overloads and prayer potions, but I'd have to spend quite a bit of money on dagannoth rex as I use Claws of Guthix against him; I'll be using a pack yak, arcane stream necklace, a full slayer helmet (which is why I posted this), a staff of light and tank gear. EEE as well.

    Thanks.

  2. It always hits, but the minimum hit can be quite low e.g. 50. I did, however, hit 786 with it against a skeletal wyvern whilst slaying; I was even wearing Karil's top and Soul Wars cape and no ferocious ring, I could've hit 850, perhaps! ;)

  3. Consistent money makers would be green, blue and red dragons when excluding frost dragons.

Luck/potential-based money makers would be iron and steel dragons. Generally, however, choosing a consistent money maker in this topic would be the best, especially when maging the dragons. If you must use magic, though, I'd suggest iron dragons.

  4. Korasi's sword is without a doubt better than the dragon scimitar; both its special attack and stats. They're equal in speed, by the way.

A chaotic weapon, preferably rapier for training, would be the most efficient choice. It would, however, cost a bit more.

A saradomin sword might be better because of the strength bonus, but it's out-cancelled if using Void knight armor, barrows gloves and a deflector.

Also, fortunately, excluding chaotic weapons, it has the most stab bonus for a 1-handed weapon. A cheap alternative to the zamorakian spear, and you even get defence from a shield, the deflector or a rune defender.

    It's awesome!

  5. Hi guys,

I have to get 70 construction in order to be able to do the new Void-quest, so, 'was wondering how I should train it; any suggestions e.g oak larders (are they still good)? Can't quite remember what peeps do nowadays, so asking you fellas. ;) Not too expensive, but not too slow.

    Thanks

  6. Tank: damage is reduced when wielding a shield (you don't wield shields in dungeoneering)

Tactician: increases chance of hitting in accurate stance (you don't always use accurate stance)

Berserker: increases strength levels when calculating damage (jackpot!)

Tank is very useful for keyers since they normally bind a Primal Baxe and use a shield off the starting table.

Go read Theancient's dungeoneering guide for some knowledge to some of these things.

Sorry, misread that. But still, battleaxes suck lol. <.<

Unless you're dungeoneering with a private group (where roles have been selected prematurely), you'd have to adapt in certain situations meaning that you won't always be the key holder. Besides, key holders should have shadow silk hoods. Most dungeoneers can only bind 2 items and you wouldn't want no weapon, right?

  8. Hmm, what kills prime the fastest (for me)? And what's the ranging distance/range (lol) with Karil's crossbow compared to a rune one?

I actually don't know the range of karils crossbow as I never use it :x

For the fastest kills I would use rune crossbow/rune bolts or diamond and soul wars/accumulator; but tbh, overloads/prayer/broad would kill prime fast too.

Hmm, what do you think would be the most profitable, though? Broads or rune bolts? I think I'll stick with broad bolts and the soul wars cape, by the way. Less of a hassle. :) Besides, I'd use dragonfire shield + abyssal whip and Karil's is 2-handed. Quite annoying.

  9. What about Bandos tassets and a black dragonhide body instead? Or maybe Verac's skirt and a black dragonhide body?

I've seen bandos tassets become more and more popular there and it's what I do when I solo tribrid so that will work.

Also, would bringing an accumulator and runite bolts be better than just using a soul wars cape and broad bolts? Or should I use the soul wars cape and runite bolts? Diamond bolts (e) are unnecessary imo because of prime's already low defence. Oh, and what about Karil's crossbow?

I use diamond (e) because the boots I'm wearing increase the chance of getting a bolts special; which kills prime very fast. And with a high enough ranged level and attack bonus broad bolts are good too. I also prefer a soul cape because I use a lot of prayer there.

I would suggest soul wars cape + karils crossbow

    or

    accumulator + rune crossbow + rune/addy/broad

  11. When I solo tribrid I use this setup (for melee)

Switching the bandos with veracs skirt and karils top will work great. Using a whip will work just as great with overloads and turmoil. The item in my shield slot is an anti-poison totem (prevents me from being poisoned) which can be replaced with blessed spirit or dragonfire shield, and don't forget a rune crossbow.

The example setups in the tip.it dks guide will work for you too.

  12. Hey guys,

I've hybridded at dks once, and it was pretty successful, I made approximately 4M or so.

I was wondering what equipment you'd suggest? I have 75 dungeoneering, so not chaotic weps.

Oh, and by the way, what's best for dks: the longsword or rapier? Dks are weak to slash, but they have low defence and rapier's quick.

My stats can be found in the signature. I don't like risking too much, about 5M is fine, though.

(I used overloads and EEE last time, worked about pretty well.)

    Thanks ;)
