1. S U O M I : 3.45B xp (+68M). You guys thought getting a 99 each week was cool? Well, check out Mr. Suomi here who consecutively reached 200M Construction two weeks ago, 200M Prayer last week, and 200M Herblore this week, not to mention the upcoming 200M Slayer for next week. 200M Herblore became Suomi's 12th 200M stat earlier today who now incentivized to scavenge some Slayer points in preparation for the upcoming Triple Slayer xp day. Suomi also lost the monthly record by 13M xp this week due to his well deserved day off and because of his recent achievements in the e-fame skill such as getting the adventure log picture Tezz forced him to take (http://puu.sh/7pDu) Still a near unprecedented record nonetheless. However, he did lose a bit of e-fame points as he hid his adventure log profile. However, I did manage to snipe an exclusive unseen picture of his full body avatar right before he did so. Here it is: http://puu.sh/77ES Coming milestones: 100M WC, 100M Summoning, 200M Slayer (13th), and 200M Ranged (14th).
2. Tezz : 3,12B xp (+27M). A slower week (albeit still the third biggest gainer this week) for Tezz who took an unexpected turn this week and decided to start on some Smithing after he reached 165M in Fletching. At Tezz’s current pace, Suomi should beat Gert’s record of a 358M xp lead on rank 2 shortly (with a 324M lead at the moment) and perhaps take Tezz’s “King of 200M’s” title sooner than expected if he continues with Smithing. As stated earlier, this could possibly indicate that he’s not going for all 200M’s as you would think he would leave Smith for Superheating in Lrc. Coming milestones: 200M Fletching (14th)
3. Elias : 3B xp Inactive.
4. Caroline2O11 (Previously BuyableQueen – Jdelacroix) : 2,95B xp (+15M). A normal week for Jd who again focused on Slayer, Farming runs, and opened a bit of effigies. At his current pace, he should pass the inactive Elias for rank 3 in three weeks. Jd also reached 175M Farming this week. Huge respect for how consistent he is by Farming every day for the past 2 years. It will be a 200M well deserved. It seems he will also finish off Thieving in the coming months purely from Effigy combo gains. Coming milestones: 200M thieving and 200M farming (10th and 11th skill)
5. Telmomarques : 2,87B xp. Inactive.
6. Elvis : 2,85B xp (+43M). A week for all Elvis fans to rejoice, Elvis pulled an astonishing 43 million experience week by dumping all of his effigies and passing up Drumgun for rank 6 in the process. He achieved 100M Farming for his 14th skill over 100M xp and also trained a bit of Smithing as well. He should pass the inactive Telmomarques for rank 5 as soon as next week. Coming milestones: Nothing for the moment
7. Drumgun : 2,84B xp (+6M). Another slow week for Drumgun who yet again mostly trained Woodcutting, some Crafting, and probably bossing or whatever invisible combat xp gain activities he might be up to. Despite his recent derank from Elvis, Drumgun is now only a mere 20M xp off of 200M Woodcutting which he should achieve about a month from now for his 12th 200M stat and his 10th consecutive hiscore stat. Drumgun should pass the inactive Telmomarques (after Elvis does) to reclaim rank 6 within a month as well. Coming milestones: 200M WC (12th)
8. Allar : 2,68B xp. Inactive.
9. Zarfot : 2,35B xp. Inactive.
10. Kingduffy : 2,3B xp (+2M). Yet again another slow week for the Kingduffy trained a little bit of almost every skill with gains consisting of mainly Crafting (800K), Agility (500K), and Farming (250K). Despite his continued slow pace, he should still keep his position at the top of the hiscores for a long time. He still (for the moment) seems safe from the incoming competition. Coming milestones: 100M ranged, 100M Slayer, 100M Hunter, and 100M Smithing.
11. AlmostLost (Previously BuyableKing, lts too hot ninja 398 or whatever): 2,21B xp (+15M). Another normal week for Richard who did a lot of Farming and easily got back into the groove of Slayer (something he seems to be good at doing) and also did a bit of Crafting this week. He also reached 180M in Defence and should reach his long-time goal of 200M in about a month for his 7th skill at 200M. Coming milestones: 200M Defence (7th)
12. Green098 : 2,16B (+8M) A slightly faster week for the Magical Green098 who again trained Slayer the magical way and opened a bit of effigies. She will reach 150M HP in the coming weeks and due to the lack of competition from below should keep her rank for a while. Coming milestones: Nothing in sight
13. Paperbag 2,16B xp. Inactive.
14. Kngkyle: 2,12B (+4M). An even slower week for Kngkyle who, if you look at his tracker, pulled a week consisting of entirely Crafting and Woodcutting, with a 2.2M experience point gain in each. Although he's another player who seems to be taking it easy, people like him don’t really need to do much in order to protect their ranks for the time being. Coming milestones: 200M WC (6th skill)
15. Alkan Boss (Previously Number1 Boss) 2,07B xp (+3M). Alkan just fished rocktails on his main again but managed to outpace most of the top 15 on his noob account AlkanTheMan with a 14M xp week on it. With 1600 total and 23M xp two weeks after creation, the account actually has an 140k+ xp/hr average on it due to its relatively high Herblore level. Ironically enough, that’s higher than most of the top 15. Coming milestones: 100M Slayer and 100M Herblore
Outside the top 15: Pope has started slowing down as well but is less than 30M xp off bumping Alkan out of the top 15. Skiller 703 seems to have slowed down completely and Simon is 17 levels from maxing. He could easily breach the top 15 if he decides to Cook, Fletch, or train another buyable skill.
Also srsly wtf happened to langer, been over a month now

Smithing + Mining
Crafting - It depends on how patient you are. Dragonstone is both fastest and relatively cheap (7.26 gp/xp), but is difficult to buy. If you're looking for cheap and easy to buy, I'd recommend emerald. Red d'hide is around the same gp/xp as emerald and faster xp, but it'd be extremely tough to sell it back.
Construction - Mahogany tables
Fletching - broad or addy bolts while wcing
Thieving - Pp

Just recently tested 136k xp in 1 hour using the fishing overload method with 82 fishing. More specifically:
-Start xp: ~65,808,000
-End xp: ~65,944,000
Time: 9:45-9:55, 10:29-11:19
Test includes a random (balloon) and a disconnect of about 1 minute. Also, I tried drinking overload every 2 ticks. But I probably failed a bunch.
Unfortunately, I didn't vid it, but I'll try to do a vidded test tomorrow :/.

Who do you think will be first to 14/15 etc 200m skills? S U O M I is currently 17m to 200m herb #12, and 10m to 200m slayer #13. Tezz is already at 13 200ms and 36m to 200m fletching, but is currently training smithing. I'll say Tezz may be first to 14, but S U O M I will hold 15-25.

I think Suomi won't get #15 if he makes his next 200m rcing. He may be able to if he decides to do firemaking and/or crafting though (although that would block out 2 more effigy combos, which = waste of xp). I think it's also noteworthy that tezz still has herblore and construction open, even though they're at relatively low xp.

Being a native Spanish speaker, I can assure you that:
1. My translation is probably the closest to what she meant
2. Yes, that really is broken spanish, and you deserve an A+ in your class.
To be honest, you may even have translated it better than me, since the last sentence could be taken either way. I based my interpretation on the fact that right after that sentence, she says "(we want bann all cheaters)", but it could easily mean "we don't want accidental rollbacks", given her broken Spanish. And you messed up a little in the first sentence (not "instead of banning them", but "banning them and their other accounts), but otherwise, good job :P.

MY OPINION IS:
To get rid of all the players who bot, I believe the best course of action is to ban them and their other accounts, because from what I've seen, they fill their other accounts with the items that they use their botters to collect. I believe more people will play Runescape if everybody plays fairly. Many people are distancing themselves from Runescape because they prefer that the cheaters get banned over giving them a rollback.
(we want bann all cheaters)

Assuming you start out with 15m xp in all skills, what slayer tasks should you storm of armadyl after you do lrc? So basically, since 200m mining does not finish off magic, but mage slaying all tasks would give 450m magic xp, what tasks should you do so it adds up to ~leftovermagicxp.
Probably doesn't matter in race to 200m since suomi's already maxing slayer, but it would be interesting to figure out (agen needs the most efficient methods to max #1 200m). nvm alkantheman #1 200m

1) We know jmods accounts can only be logged into from jagex HQ
2) Theres no videos of it
3) There NOTHING anywhere about runeHQ getting hacked, or locking down due to an attempted hack in response to the way this password was supposedly gotten.
All there is, is this forum post with 1 gif animation that could easily be faked.
Look at the post above you I even posted the password in this thread so you can look it up yourself.
But you can type any password in and get the account locked message once the account is locked, doesn't matter if its right or wrong; unless something got changed quite recently.
Nope. Type in something random (like "klajflsdjh4w") and you get the "this is an invalid account or pass word, nov 26 email change, etc." message. Type in [the password] and you get the "this account is locked" message [/hide]

This is why I used spoiler tags for my last update. We all miss him. Are other people offended in this manner as well? I was just trying to cover for him until his gets back. Do people want more of my updates or am I ruining Langer's rep or something? I'm trying to provide you guys with some entertainment while he's gone but if more people feel like this I will stop, just let me know.
Lol. I was just joking, I thought the ALL CAPS would give it away. But yeah, you're probably the 2nd best updater in this thread. I 100% support the decision.

For those of you dissing the Level 70 Crafting, and Power Amulets, those are just a mere small step on the way to someone making their own Glory Amulets. But unless you head past there, you won't get on your way, regardless of whether they're useless or not! Plus, what you earn from selling off unwanted Power Amulets lends to heading for making your own Glory Amulets. Which, might I remind you that being able to make your own Glory Amulets enables self-sufficiency, instead of having to go to the G.E. for your combat equipment! :ugeek:

I own a nook, and it's the best thing since paperback bread. I wouldn't buy it unless you're extremely addicted to books though. I just happen to own one because it was a gift. It has a lot of really convenient features though. My personal favorite is being able to hold your finger over a specific word and automatically looking it up on the dictionary. And bookmarks. Bookmarks are way more convenient on ebooks than they are on real books. Plus a few cost under $100 now.
As for laptops vs. tablets, I'd personally go with a laptop + a cheap ebook reader over an ipad2.

I used to do this, but there's one main problem: if you tell it to use a lot of power, it goes fast but takes up a LOT of power. If you tell it to use less power, it goes a lot slower and takes forever to finish one unit. I could never find a happy medium.
Yeah, my only beef with it is the lag if you give it too much power to use. I'm hoping they make it so that you can set it so that you allow it to use a greater amount of power after x amount of idle minutes. Other than that, I have to set it at 10%, 100m disk space all the time. My other complaint (not for the program, but for the site itself) is that it requires you to make an account to download. I know it's a minor nuance to a person who wants to download it, but there's been studies done that show an exponential increase when the account making requirement is removed. I guess it'd help them get closer to achieving a true world grid.

That's right. While you're [cabbage]ing in the bathroom, or microwaving some hot pockets, you could be helping find a cure for AIDS.
"But wait! What if somebody is using my computer to help them build a death star!?"
A: While you are automatically opted in to all projects of the world community grid, you are allowed to opt out or pause a project whenever you need to. The specific project you're (sleeping/slacking from writing a book report, etc.) on will always be displayed on the program.

A: Not only does a collective grid of thousands of computers far surpass what supercomputers are capable of, but it is also much more cost effective, and the money saved can be used to more efficiently contribute to other things that can't be solved with millions of people watching rebecca black.
"My PC sucks! It's made out of sticks and mud and I'm not sure if such a pathetic PC will be able to handle the awesomeness of the world community grid. Can I see the system requirements?"

A: It depends entirely up to you. There's a preferences button when you can adjust things like how much processing power it uses, how much disk space it's allowed to use, etc. And yes, it does include a setting for what "idle" means (anywhere from 0-60 minutes of eating food in the kitchen before bringing back a 2 liter coke to your basement)

I want to play RS more, but everything in this game is so damn boring these days I find it difficult to stay more than 5 minutes without going "[bleep] it." and go do something else.
Holy [bleep] this, this is the grindiest mmo I've ever played and that's saying something.
Why bother playing if its so 'grindy' and boring? Too much emphasis on one thing/skill? Not thought about....oh dear.......I'll have to swear here..................

agree with the previous 2 guys btw. i used to be addicted, but then i dropped all my money, and whenever i want to start playing again, i think of all the hours that ill have to grind just to get it back.

K. You've got 4 options:
A. Have loads of money to begin with and stake (also requires decent stats) or merchant.
B. Have loads of money and decent gear and maxed stats to begin with and nex.
C. Try your hand at frosts dragons or something similar, only to realize how frustrating said activities are because of the inflated amount of bots and cannons, and requit out of angerment.
D. Yeah, I guess farming and miscellenia are decent money for the time they take. But they're still only small boosts and it'll take ages to amass a worthwhile amount of money.

I know I'm never active, but do you always argue over the smallest details in people's posts and end everything with a :rolleyes:, :unsure:, or :huh:? I mean, it always seems like you take the fact that you're a 30 year old woman to your advantage, and post the stupidest, most annoying posts here. I'm sorry if this is considered a flaimbait post, but after almost a year of continuous lurking, I'm getting tired of it.
