1.0 Introduction
Welcome to my first guide! This will be an in-depth guide on how to go to from level 3 to a pking master! I will start this guide off with a warning, this is a very long process and it will take a while to do. Whatever you do don’t get frustrated or mad and stop halfway of becoming a pking beast! :)
There are just a few things that I would like to point out before you start on this journey. This is not one of those guides that will tell you exactly what to do at every single level. For example: “like getting ancients before level 50” etc. This Guide is for pures that are going to stay between 1and 20 defence levels, preferably 1 defence.
I would like to start off this guide with a list of all the quests in runescape and which ones you can do! (at 1 defence without leveling)

Remember! if you are going to become a 10 defence or a 20 defence pure, do the math first! You don’t want to end up at 12 or 21 defence just because you thought you weren’t going to level.

5.0 Quick Notes
In the combat part of the guide i will not be telling about how to make cash by training, skilling, killing, or anything other way of making cash. Hopefully you would skill first and start a profitable skill first before starting the long journey. Some skills that are very good and i personally like are Runecrafting, Woodcutting, Fishing. Of course this would require to be a high level or even 99 in the skill to be making enough to support other skills, but it will be well worth it when you can show off that cape! I would very much recommend getting all non-combat skills needed to do ALL quests so you dont have to stop mid-training or questing just to train.
6.0 Ranged Guide
In this part of the guide I will tell you the best spots to range at for the best exp because cash is not what you are going for. This might sound redundant, but fast items like bronze knives, darts and arrows are your friends. Do not train with cross bows! Since Cash is not a problem you should be wearing the best gear you can. Ok, starting at the very beginning.
Gear:
Head: Cowl> Hat> Nothing
Amulet: Amulet of Ranging> Fury> Glory
Body: Leather Body> Robes> Iron Platebody> Nothing
Legs: Chaps> Nothing
Gloves: Regen. Brace> Vambraces> Nothing
Cape: Skill Cape> Obsidian Cape> Cape> Nothing
Weapon: Bronze Knives> Shortbow> Bronze Darts> Sling
Ring: Archers Ring
Boots: Climbing Boots> Nothing
Shield: *Iron Kiteshield> God Book> Nothing
*Use an iron kiteshield if you are using knives or darts. Switch to a god book once you get it.
Remember to update your gear after every time you unlock something better, D’hide or Bows etc.
Range:
1-10 Range This is the tedious stage of the training process, kill chickens or giant rats located in lumbridge.
10-20 Range This point you can start training on cows
20-30 Range This is were you start to get some variety in where you train, there are flesh crawlers in the second level in the Stronghold of security, barbarians in the village, or rock crabs.
30-40 Range You can continue to train on flesh crawlers or rock crabs.
40-50 Range Ogres are now a good choice, this is the point where its up to you whether you want to use a cannon. You can use a cannon at ogres east of Castle Wars or you can go to the famous spot for cannons, rock crabs!
50+ Range Another monster to train on at this level is Fire Giants; here Bronze knives, arrows or darts will not be powerful enough. I suggest moving up to steel or mithril depending on your choice. The best place for the safe spots for fire giants would be in the waterfall after the waterfall quest in the west room.
50-60 Range Again ogres or Rock Crabs are a good choice; cannons are also another good way to speed up the training since cash isn’t an issue.
60+ Range here its up to you were you want to train since your range level is high enough to choose where you want, I recommend the ogres in the training ground north of Ardougne. Here you will not be able to pick up your arrows or knives unless you want to slip into the cage. This is another great place for the cannon, but the ogres do not drop charms.
70+ Range This is for the fastest range exp in the game. You can use Grey or Red Chinchompas at the Ape Atoll Dungeon. You only need to start Monkey Madness to get this dungeon, but finishing it allows you to wield the famous Dragon Scimitar. If you go 43+ prayer is recommended when you go down there your gear should be…
Head: Mitre
Amulet: Fury> Amulet of Ranging
Body: Monk Robe
Legs: Black D’hide Chaps
Gloves: RFD Gloves> black d’hide vambraces> Regen. Brace>
Cape: God Cloak
Weapon: Red Chinchompas> Grey Chinchompas
Ring: Archers Ring
Boots: Rangers Boots> Climbing Boots
Shield: Zamorak God Book
Red chinchompas gain the most exp per hour but they are extremely expensive. You can use Grey Chinchompas at a small loss in exp per hour at a fraction of the cost.
This Guide is Still in Progress Im going to post it now, Constructive Critism is needed! Anything you see or more I should add to the guide that would help even if its obvious! If you see anything like typo's please post! Pictures will come with the guide after all other things are done.
Thanks!
