[Making money from scratch]

Sacred oil is currently an afk method for 1.5m/hour if you sell correctly.

 

How do you do this? Never heard of sacred oil before

I've been killing the low leveled revs and haven't gotten very lucky yet with drops, I use a rapier since I didn't get my maul yet. What should I bring in my inventory and gear, I currently use rapier, d hides, glory or wealth and an obby shield. I bring 3 combat potions and the rest sharks. Should I make any changes.

 

I'm 110 combat with 80/89/75 melees.

Do higher lvled revs have higher chances of dropping an item then lower lvled revs?

I need someone to do a test for me: As soon as you next get a drop, go and lose roughly 500k worth of items pking, and see if you get a drop early next trip. I am thinking like this because most of my drops have been early in the trip, normally after a pking spree. Im not sure if this is corrilation or luck, but I nee some help to test it.

 

I didn't lose 500k but i lsot about 20k in d'hide i was wearing to clan, as soon as i got back i killed a lvl 45 Rev Ice Fiend and got a armadyl Totem(750k) later on i died again for d hides and i went back and got a guthixirian brazier(200k) and now since i haven't died in a bit i haven't gotten any drops. :(

You can look at it like this:

Get a torso (4+ hours as you are new to the game) - use torso for 100 hours - make money for BCP at a rate of 3m/hr (6-7 hours) - never use torso again.

Make money for BCP at a rate of 2m/hr (10 hours) - use BCP forever.

 

Getting a torso is not efficient unless you're going to do ~100 hours of pure melee slaying per ~2 hours it takes you to get it (compared to a no-strength bonus plate).

You make it seem like making 2m/hr is nothing hard to achieve.

[Finally got it!]

After getting a few good friends to loan me some GP, I've finally achieved my #1 goal in RS. Turmoil :D

 

Took my whole bank with it, but I can already tell it was extremely worth it. Once I get these loans payed back, and get my bank rebuilt I'm hoping to start PvPing for some good money. Anyways, on to the good part :D

 

 

I've been working towards this for about a month or so now, and I'm SSOOO excited to finally have it. SUPER huge thanks to superHYTnova, Naive, and Buttwhoopchi for loaning me money for bones :D

So 123k Big Bones would be reeeealllyy painful to do I take it.

 

Tbh I would rather do 123k bones if I didn't have a good moneymaker. 123k bones is about 123 hours

while dragon bones you would need about 25k bones which is 25 hours. So in the 98 hours you save with d bones you can use to make money. But it will be more like 60 hours as you gotta make more money for drag bones.

 

Instead of grinding yourself to make 150m do it in smaller amounts like make money for 5k bones at a time.

Depending on concentration you can do 1k-1.4k bones an hour.

I was going to camp a monster with a ring of wealth for some of the rare drops. Was wondering if the combat level of the monster affected the chances to get a rare drop?

Hi,

 

I've reached the part where I am supposed to unlock the machine using the shapes. I can never get the right shapes, the exchanger thing just gives me random shapes.

 

Can anybody explain how to use this?

Is it possible to get back the first shape given in

the quest?
