  1. What I'm wondering is what ever happened to all the f2p skillers with like 1bil xp. Yeah, the f2p guys who were given a full paid trip to runefest.

The reason the hiscores were made members only was supposedly to add more fair competition to those who are still active. 200m xp in a skill leaves the skill at a permanent rank, and the competition will never change. I find it stupid that ranks with 200m xp are removed from hiscores upon becoming a nonmember, let's just remove michael jordan from the nba hall of fame because he retired.

    I've followed since page 500. and I'm really excited to see where this goes. i usually stay out of posting though because I only have 65mil total xp. and Don't want to end up like Gemeos.

  4. Today I received an email on one of my inactive email accounts from "jagex" stating that someone tried to recover my password, and then linked me to a phishing site. The ONLY way that email was connected to anything runescape related was through Tip.it when I made another account a while back. BEWARE !!! (probably an admin selling email lists, I've seen it done before)

    Dungeoneering - 300k

     

    No way you can consistently get 300k Dung xp an hour, I used to play for 42 hours at a time with minimal breaks and only got about 240k xp per hour. There is such a thing as c1's and waiting for other people is inevitable while training the skill. But if the above refers to total xp and the other 60k comes from skilling/combat exp I guess it might make sense.

     

     

    You shouldn't count the waiting time unless you don't do a bank skill while waiting. How long were your C1s and your larges?

     

    My calculations are based on Dungeoneering over a long period of time, a month without stopping. Just check Runetracker records. Larges and c1s will always vary. It's impossible to always have a perfect floor.

     

    I must admit, when I dungeoneered there wasn't the do a floor you have already done and it ticks off floor you haven't done mechanic. But still, I can't imagine a consistent 300k per hour.. Maybe a little under that but then again there's no way to know how much combat exp the person is getting in the floor, if they are keying or not... 300k just seems a tad bit high. But maybe with tokens? :unsure:

  7. -It's basically admitting defeat to the bots

     

    -Alch values are supposed to act as a safety net in case prices get dangerously low

     

    -There were already items you could alch for profit so how is this any different, if someone is willing to alch to 200M mage hell they deserve it

     

    -Now bots will drive down prices of nature runes to 74 gp (the new alch value, hell they buy for 82 gp in the g.e right now) consequently making other stuff even more profitable to alch, defeating the whole purpose of the change

     

    -Way to ruin whatever the hell was left of Runecrafting, now low levels can't even graahk for a profit. Inb4 p ess 10 gp ea.

    The Value of 91+ RC has reduced as a result, was wondering why i didn't see any graahk runecrafters at castle wars. *facepalm*

    Jagex balanced the value of 91 rc by introducing effigies

     

    Pretty sure effigies weren't intended at release to be an alternate way of training Runecraft.

  8. I thought this was the 200m in all Skills thread? Why are we discussing world 117 average Dungeon times?

    My fastest large was a 7 minute abandoned, received like 30-50k xp for it..

     

    But more realistically, anyone who's going for all 200m's, which includes Dungeoneering, should be completing Large floors with an average time in between 15 and 25 minutes... I had a 10 page thread planned discussing why Dungeoneering fails and is going to continue failing as time progresses but I got lazy and let time speak for itself.

     

    I wish the best of luck to anyone trying to get record experience in the skill...

    And to those of you who are making tons of gp training it, yes, I am jelly.

  9. It would be unrealistic to think that this game will last forever... Eventually, one day, this game will become outdated. For all we know the whole Hiscores might change one day, which would have a dramatic effect on the Rank Competing community. I think it would be more fair to have yearly hiscores AND an overall hiscores.. Because someone who starts today really has no chance... It is possible but not realistic. And most of the people "rooting" for those who are getting 200M probably won't even be around to see it happen...

  10. Just looking at the hiscores and Runetracker gains doesn't give enough information to judge on whether they will reach 200m in all skills... Some people have just played forever and still do, or don't plan on playing much longer...

     

    And I don't think I need to say anymore after this...
