    I dont really understand the effigie system, it came before I started to play again :P

    What you need them for, I know they get you exp.

     

    But how far will they get you? :)

    Nice progress !

    Each effigy has 4 stages to unlock which require levels 91 (starved, gives 15k xp), 93 (nourished, gives 20k xp), 95 (sated, gives 25k xp), and 97 (gorged, gives 30k xp) in one of the following skills (paired skills are random):

     

    • Herblore* or Hunter
    • Fletching* or Woodcutting
    • Cooking* or Firemaking
    • Crafting* or Agility
    • Runecrafting* or Summoning
    • Farming* or Fishing
    • Construction* or Thieving
    • Smithing* or Mining

    * = skills that can be assisted from each combo.

     

    So for example, say you got an effigy and it said you needed fletching or woodcutting. You could either open the first stage yourself and earn 15k fletching or woodcutting xp (depending on what skill you choose and whether you have 91 in that skill) or go have someone assist you in the assistable option (in this case fletching). After opened, it would become a nourished effigy, and would require a different pair of skills mentioned above, but this time at level 93. You would repeat the process until you've opened all 4 stages.

     

    After you've opened the gorged effigy yourself or via assisting, you get a dragonkin lamp. These lamps give a great deal of xp in any of your skills, although it's advised to save the lamp for a higher leveled skill for better xp (~43k xp on a lvl 95 skill, 48k xp on a lvl 99 skill for example).

     

    I decided to save all of my effigies and open them myself (granting me an additional 90k xp in random skills per effigy rather than giving that xp away via assists) and save the dragonkins for agility and runecrafting. 116 dragonkin lamps used on each skill starting from lvl 94 will get me 99 in both skills in about an hour or so, saving hundreds of hours of actually training the skill.

    lol prices are finally starting to get insane, cballs 415+ each, red chins 1.5k

    Good thing I bought 500k red chins for 450 each, isn't it?

    Meh..... Will only give you a profit of ~475M atm <_<

    Yeah they are a pain indeed.

     

    I opened it before and people were begging for add/ranks/items L

    Currently we are quit a few people in A13D's fc. (3 - me included.../facepalm)

    I just got 100k in rc materials from a friendly person in there :)

     

    Would been epic if you could join in :-)

    But you are probably busy tho!

    I noticed that I had a nice pile of money from selling all those slayer staves I stole from HAM members, so I decided to get some new equipment :) Still need a better shield, though, and maybe a rune scimitar...

    Go get Rune Kiteshield(I am merching it on G.E, hihi) also get yourself the rune scimitar, until you hit 60 att :)

    Well fire giants drop both kiteshield and scimitar, but I need a full inv of lobsters to kill just a few (that was with addy armor though) -.- But maybe I could get 40+ ranged and then use that

    Raise fishing & cooking level? :) Swordies.

    Can you get 0 - 200M construction in a day? I believe I read that 99-200M is 15 hours, and maybe if you offered curved and long bones 1-99? Or boosted from a few levels below demonic thrones?

    Thanks a lot! I managed to get a second rune med during the same task, but I think I'll buy a berserker helm anyway. (got 60k cash quickly by stealing slayer staffs from HAM members, so I have 140k now!)

    That is pretty neat!!

    If I've understood it right, everything you do, you need to do on your self? No donations, no G.E, nothing at all.

     

    All purely done by you?

     

    Must be fun, but requires a lot more work tho

    I say put the prestige cap at level 100 (Except for dungeoneering which could go at level 121).

    100 Would just look bad at the hi-score.

     

    Rather make it than when you hit level 99, you'll need 2M xp to prestige - 1 Prestige Level 1, for example.

    Firemaking would block an effigy combo which would mean wasted xp/money when investigating effigies in the future although he has said himself that he's definitely considered 200m FM just for the sake of doing it and getting 4b xp quicker.

     

    People have suggested training it until like 180m or whatever so he can get the rest via investigating effigies to get the best of both worlds but I can't remember if he said anything about doing that or if he would rather just tank out RC all the way and worry about it later.

    I support that he gets about 180M EXP as you say, just to get a even bigger lead.

    I feel like a noob.

     

    What does S U O M I train at this moment?

     

    Why doesn´t he go for Firemaking - 200M ?

     

    He will get it on a month, if he plays - 10-12 hours a day?

     

    570M (about) for Magic Logs, 260M for yews(?)

     

    Yes, I am a new member, been following this thread for like 2 months.... Wanted to involve now.
