  1. I found it on RS forums

    Quick find code: 15-16-437-34615649

Hi, my name is Kiido 11, and I recently achieved level 66 hunter.

So I created this thread to answer some of your questions on spottier and spotted capes.

    Remember:

Spottier cape- lvl 66 hunter to wear

Spotted cape- lvl 40 hunter to wear

Both capes give the defence of a normal cape, meaning:

    Stab: +0, Slash: +1, Crush: +1, Magic: +0, Range: +2

    Weight reduction:

    - The spottier cape ALWAYS reduces 5kg from your weight, no matter what.

    - The spotted cape, reduces 2kg when you are below a certain weight. Once you are heavier than that, it reduces 3kg.

    Making the capes:

Both capes are made at the Varrock fancy clothes store. Below are the prices.

Spotted capes- 2 spotted kebbit furs, 400 GP

Spottier capes- 2 Dashing kebbit furs, 800 GP

Note: All these furs can be aquired at the falconry, Southeast for the Picatoris hunting area.

Well, I hope that tells you all you need to know about these lovely capes!

  2. Of course it is worth - much more fun, more things to do, much faster xp and much easier ways to get money :)

Actually it is fun for (almost) any level, but if you want good start it is recommended to finish all f2p quests, get 43 prayer, 60 atk str def and 50 in all other free skills. Also 200-300K in bank helps greatly

  3. Dear *****,

Thank you for contacting us regarding the ancient spells.

I can confirm that yes, you can use the ancient multi-target spells to hit an more than 8 targets (it's actually unlimited) as long as they are standing in the 3x3 grid where the spell is cast.

I wish you all the best in your Pest Controls battles warrior.

    Yours Sincerely

    Mod *****

And yes, it is very fun, very useful to PC team and very fast way to train magic

  4. Due to a recent bug, players placing a full set of Adamant (g) into their chest were able to withdraw a full set of Rune (g).

As a result of the hotfix, you may find that any Rune (g) you'd stored in the chest has turned into Adamant (g). We are really, really, sorry if this has happened to you; unfortunately there was no other feasible way of fixing the bug.

Please contact Customer Support via the normal messaging system for any futher issues or problems.

We deeply apologise again for this issue, and hope that you can understand that there was no other hotfix available.

I'm sure it made ROFL many people

  5. Just found it at members forums

Step one: Go to Al Kharid

    Step two: Get a Pickaxe

Step three: Go to the Scorpion Pit (AKA Al Kharid mines)

    Step four: Mine some copper

    Step five: Mine some tin

Step six: Go south, find the furnace.

Step seven: Smelt a bronze bar

Step eight: Walk to Varrock (Far north, but not too north!)

    Step nine: Find a hammer

Step ten: go to the Varrock anvils

Step eleven: Smith a bronze axe

Step twelve: Equip your shiny new axe

Step thirteen: Go to the "Special attack" menu

    Step fourteen: Select "Hack, aggressive"

    Step fifteen: Go father north

Step sixteen: Find someone within a reasonable combat level

Step seventeen: Hack away at them

Congratulations, you've successfully hacked another player! This method can be used on trees as well, assuming you have the woodcutting level for them!

  6. btw, you can see mod's messages even your have your chat off

Actually there are only two ways to greatly reduce autoing

IMHO the problem is Java bots (modified Runescape client) that work without autoer's attention

    So there are two ways:

    1. Prevent client reverse engineering i.e. improve their Java obfuscator. Currently it is very easy and there are many ways of improving it without losing perfomance.

    2. Image recognition. Bring back 'sleep' feature as new random event (one time in hour will be enough) or draw 2D vector picture(not model!) and ask player to recognize it.

'small bank pins', 'moving trees' and other stuff based on game objects can be easily solved by Java bot.

P.S. Another good way is to set 'traps' for well-known bots and scripts (detect behavior specific for specific script) and ban them every week or so(including mains). May be they do not have time for that?
