jagex has to make the game to be aceivable for the average play and it is the choice of those who play in excess to reach those extreme levels, as long as your enjoying the game what does it matter what other people are doing?

yes, on nearly every answer the top answer was "i don't know".

I was, but that is because my computer is customised and so i have a sheet stored away that has all the ins and outs of my computer on in, so i had to dig that out.
What updates do you think this will pertain to?
probably to adjust the recommended limitations of the high detail game, and maybe the low detail game to improve the graphics and game engine.... all that technical stuff

if you have 1gp one day, the next day you recieve another and the next another, so now you have 3gp right?
BUT, if you take that money to what it would've been worth on the first day you'll find yourself with only 2.99 gp, because there is more money in total, making the general value of gold pieces drop

i nearly did.... it was when i first started, i tried to trade "alot" of iron ore and got scammed
of course in those days it was hard because of all the certing i had to do... and you know it wasn't really that much iron... just i was pretty young then got scammed
But still, since then it's a game and i have fun every second i play... so i have never actually cried about it

the fastest way to get lumberjack is by avoiding all events that you can and going through the easier route, i.e not doing any fighting at all
HOWEVER: i would not recommend going for lumberjack as the time that you spend it not equal to the time you save, so only really go for lumberjack if you enjoy playing the mini-game for the mini-game

i just recently went mining recording the results to put into some calculations of my own and found that you get about 350-400 coal*.
so between 4(3*350*5 + 4*350*2) + 3*3*350 and 4(3*400*5 + 4*400*2) + 3*3*400 peices of the precious coal... *pulls out much needed calculator*.. :-k
that turns out to be aproximately 35,000 - 40,000
which is 1.75m - 2m xp
the average from my results was 365 peices of coal per hour, which, when subsituted in is... #-o.... not again...
aproximately 36,900
which is 1.84m xp
thats my guess based on my recordings
*this was done in a members world, with a max. of 3 people at one time and with my mining lvl of 72,

i started playing runescape at 11 and am now 15
personally i think that there are alot of people over that age of 20 than people believe, seems crazy old to us youngens but really it is the truth, i would say (on P2P) the average would be over the age of 19/20

the great thing about the general store you can impulse buy pretty much anything and the max it's going to cost is a few K.... thats if you sell it back
as for me i've always loved to buy nooby weapons (REALLY nooby weapons) and head to the wildy with a friend, for example both going in with bronze 2-handed and killing greaters... Fun, fun

i think you mean winter 8-), but really i think the build up for summoning has been anticipated for quite a long time now and apparently, from what i've heard that Jagex would not announce skills before they are released, so admittedly the timing does seem right
However, it seems to me that people have just really complained about the last few skills released by Jagex and even though i loved farming and construction (not a huge fan of hunting, but still it's alright), endless rants flooded the forums, even before it was released.
So after three PR knock-backs like that i think that as a business to it's customers should really think about the next move and so i'm not so sure that this theory of a new skill every 6 months, give or take a few days will hold true.

i think you've just read too much between the lines, that you've gone right through to the other side of the paper...
you've done your reasearch and you've presented your evidence nicely, however
and i have to agree with that, a new skill is something JaGeX would use to gain PR and build up excitment, many a few "accidental" leaks.Won't have a new skill for now, a minigame is 80% probable.This secrecy is definatly the handy work of a minigame... But hey hope i'm wrong, i love the new skills :thumbsup:

Just ignore them I say. They're just arrogant players who (Ok people nothing against PC for high level training and I even use it myself sometimes so... No flaming pl0x? :ohnoes: ) have spent their entire Runescape career at the Void Knight Outpost.
Some people are just like that in any event. Runescape is obviously a competitive game just as JaGex has designed it. If you were to take out the competitivness these players would be, of course, extict. But in the course of doing this the game itself would have no point because almost everyone has a goal or are racing their friend to a certain stat, cash goal, etc.
I just say to ignore them and move on. And thank yourself you're not like them.

I agree that the universe will always find a way to dig up a person stupider than the next, however, you yourself mentioned that a child usually gets told more than once that it should not do certain things, they may listen sometimes and i believe that these stupid people deserve the same chance, don't you?
I have never been hacked and take many precautions myself, but in reality all it takes is one update in runescape that you missed out on, and the game may have changed completly, for example i was away the time that dragon legs were released so when i got back from holidays, logged on i start seeing people with dragon legs, now i didn't have a clue what was going on.
You can see that it only takes the slightest slip up and a scammer can take advantage of that, so really you may blame the lazy, greedy and stupid people but you must think of them as children and they just need a little more guidance before they learn their lesson (hopefully without touching that stove :wink:)

i always right click and choose, because if a phat is there... *non likly but hear me out* wouldn't it be at the bottom, point being the selling price is not always the runescape order price.
Also even if some things are worth more... they can be very hard to sell, but i've only come across two, maybe three death piles and i've gotten everything each time.

i completly agree... but i think it shouldn't have taken so long... It was clear something needed to be done, with complaints and cries from the victims flooding the forums.

i think you are right, but i have no idea what ther range weapons that they could intoduce.
Surley they are starting to see that range has always been the shortest side of the triangle, with the poll showing only 14% of people favouring it over mage and melee.

the only problem with pc, is that low levels can leach from the higher levels, which means they get the lvel up without doing any real work, so if the boats came into place we wouldn't have 'PC n00bs'

no one has mentioned south american languages, if Jagex want to go for world domination... i think thats a good place to expand to :twisted:

agreed i can think of better names than moosewalker... something more runescape related... but mossewalker is me... has been for the last like 5 years

i will agree with the annoying dialogues i mean you think we can remember after the first time, so we should have a choice to skip it... it's just plain annoying giving us disclaimers for everything; i highly doubt that someone is going to quit because "ZOMG, the kalfite killed me, i wasn't told it was strong enough to do that" :roll:
However i respect Jagex's decision to stop players skipping the world select proccess as, for the players who do not have the software, it is unfair and to have the advantage given to people who download an extra program is never going to make people happy, and after all jagex is a bussiness and will be run like a business, so the more views for their adds, the more they are worth, the more money they get, the better it is for us... thats the way i see it

i have to say i disagree, i am an older player myself, but i believe that the game itself has always been about skill and still is, now lets define the term 'skill'.
The skill in Runescape is not the same as say the skill it takes to win a racing game, but it's the skill of organisation, planning, thinking ahead, testing and unless you look up every single detail of the game, then error as well.
It's the smarter of us that when farming was released didn't spend our time complaining about how bad farming was, but made a major profit from the herbs and various other products.
It's the smarter of us who don't spend our time using a bronze hally against a black demon thinking, this will make me rich.
You may have noticed that i also mentioned error, there are still things that people are unaware of when a new update comes out or just generally and it's up to the smarter of us to come up with the ideas that gives us the advantage, and everyone has their share of defeats but in the end it's a game of skill and always will be
