Do you need to wear the facemask once you get into the room, or can you take it off? :) Yes, you need the face mask on the entire time you are there...as I found out the hard way :P

I like daggs under lighthouse because I dont have to eat there :P Trolls at death plateau. altho I only get 100k exp from one load of lobs there. Bandits are not bad, but I don't usually train there. Fire giants in the smoke dungeon (area with dusties in desert)

torags minus worthless hammers, add whip, rune boots and tzhaar/ crystal or dragon shield = highest def in game and of course whip owns for training. Friend and I stood side by side, he had full dharoks with lo hp and pot, and I had the above, we both have 99a 99s. in ten minutes training on trolls, I killed 8 more trolls then he did. Axe hits high, but not often enough, whip is consistent. Tried veracs also, meh, compared to my set up, I dont get hit often and hit higher then veracs and more often. At 3 mil for torags minus worthless hammers..quite a bargain. Guthans is sweet of course, but at 13 mil more then torags, that buys a lot of food and pots, and since I train on trolls and get 100k exp from one load of lobs.....meh.

thing i dont understand is how they auto when I train and get a freaking random event twice an hour. I have been pounding trolls for 6 hours straight so far today, and have gotten 11 randoms....how do the autoers not get randomed?

Back when I was 80ish combat, and whips were 7 mil, I fished 7k sharks and traded a hi lev friend for a shiny new whip. I was ecstatic. So off I go to own more trolls (my daily trainers..and still are) and being a broke cheapskate, I brought a fire staff and nats to alch all the addy drops at death plateau. I was happily pounding trolls, when I spied a addy warhammer lying on the ground across the way, just begging to be alched. Desperate to grab it before anyone else *rolls eyes* I equipped staff, clicked alch and then clicked the addy hammer, as I ran towards it....aw, it disappeared right when I got to it. Oh well no biggie right? So I switch to my equipment screen and click the whip to reequip........Oh....My...God. I stared dumb founded at the screen as my magical whip disappeared and I was rewarded with...60k gp. I breathed out a whispered and anguished "noooooooooooooooooooo". Then a much louder F$%^!, swallowing my nauseau, I logged and went outside to walk around the block while breathing "Wooo-saaaaah". Now I use runes to alch if I have whip on, and I double check the screen to make sure it says "wield" not "hi alch". :P

I don't think its that big a deal personally, when I get the "fans" flocking around, asking for cash and free stuff, I give one polite "nty", then I just ignore them, if it gets on my nerves, they get a one way trip to my ignore list. I am not a glory hound by any means, but I do not mind answering the occasional question, giving a little advice and the like. Makes the time go by while fishing, wcing, training whatever. The only question I dread is the "how long you been playing lord?" hehe

I have to say sir that I surf the forums on a daily basis, between checking on my thread and making replies there, to just checking for a good read or two. Then I stumbled across this thread....an outstanding read. Almost spilled my coffee...hehe I still feel like the uber noob for accidently hi alching my first precious whip and trading what cost at the time 7mil for 60k. But It is nice to know that I am not alone :P
