I have 8 crystal bows, degradation is never an issue...why? You count your shots, at about 240, switch to a lower bow, when it hits 10 shots the weaker bow you now have equipped, takes the degradation. Switch back to your full bow and repeat. Gives the ability to shoot 240 shots at full crystal power, and 10 shots at a lower. I use 10 in case I miscount. So 95% of the time I am using the most powerful bow without concern of collecting bolts/arrows. 8 bows because making that run to the elf to recharge is more efficient, plus you go through bows quick. I have dark bow *points to slayer lev*, and while it looks cool, I prefer to sell them and use my crystals, even tho as you can tell by my stats, I dont range often as I detest it. Nver understood the attraction, 2-3 hits melee, vice 2-3 mins plucking a bow...same kill. meh btw i go through about 6k cannon shots per dark bow drop...sigh, still profitable tho *huggz slayer* May I ask if you have a special trick counting? or do you just count them 1 after 1 etc. I used to count my shots 1 by 1...that got boring after about 10 shots... I don't know why people use a crystal bow now anyways, since a rune xbow with mith/addy bolts is better, and you don't have to count shots or recharge it :-k Those saying db is a good overall weapon, I bet they never actually tried training with it :lol: I either count em one by one, or average the shots per kill out, in that case I give myself a 25 error factor, so I switch at 225ish. Crystal; same as shooting with rune arrows, no picking up or losing ammo.....my preference.

always amazes me how many players get "hacked". As you might imagine, I have quite a few playing hours under my belt...never been muted, banned, "hacked".....how in the world have I been so fortunate? Lucky I guess :roll: but then I protect my log in info, dont download stuff and act like I have some sense in the game. I dont believe that it was an outside person who truly "hacked" into runescape and stole your info, more than likely that is improbable. If they could or would, don't you think they would go after a real account like one of the top ten.............? Ask one of your snickering "friends" who you play with to give you your stuff back.

hehe wooooot just got dark bow, after 6700 cannon balls and two mellee/prayer runs...lol cant get image to upload, imageshack issue. :(

God that took freaking forever, my fault I guess for camping at abbys for a year....altho the whips did pay the bills nicely :) Just got it on Aberrants...woooooot I am stoked....now off to make 7k nats to alch the bows I made from making 99 fletching last week, which will give me another mage level....woohoo Then onward towards 99 slayer...god it has an horrific hourly exp rate. wish me luck hehe Edit: added pic, I missed the screeny when I made it :(

I wouldnt trade in world 2 for anything lol, but thats me. I use forums exclusively when dumping clue rewards, whips, d boots etc...soooooo much easier...:"meet me in W46 at edge"....*poof*...trader pops in, we trade, say "ty" and voila!.......however, for those who do use the mad riot called W2....what you suggest is a really great idea. Articulate it nicely and put in RS Official suggestion forum. Even I would benefit, I won't get nubs power trading me while I am in bank. Hehe LK

being a strength geek (ranked 400s, 24.250mil+ str exp atm) I have tried just about everything...IMHO; Dragon Scimmy hands down for hourly exp rate. I switched over to whip usage now, only because I am training slayer, and want the smidgeon of faster hourly overall exp rate.

Actually this would be a logical idea, and I would prefer it better. You could in theroy change the xp across properly. All you would have to do is add the xp you would get for I'ding the herbs used in that potion, to the potions XP. Or perhaps, add the ID/Cleaning xp when you put the herb in water, and then the remaining xp when you add the 2nd ingrediant. *Not to mention, this would clear up ROWS of BANKSPACE* And also, what most people dont realize is, yes, Prices of "Unids" or uncleaned herbs will be adjusted, but they also dont realize that Herbs such as Ranarr and other popular ones will go DOWN in price. Why? People who cant even identify them, know what they are, which leads to more people picking them up, and not leaving unkown herbs on the ground. More people picking them up puts more in circulation, and therefore will drop prices. Yes, you cant get them for 1ke in unid form, but a declining price means you can get them for, maybe 6k or less a pop. Im not sure how much they will decline, so I cant give an exact approximation, but its the general idea. well put, I have changed my opinion as well to match yours, upon further contemplation, I feel in the long run, herb prices will drop. I also feel this was a quality update that benefits the masses. I dont buy herbs generally, so I could care less. But anything that makes life more inconvenient for scammers, the happier I am. I don't think absorbing the iding exp into the pots would be that monumentally challenging for Jagex. Just do away with the whole iding/cleaning process altogether. LK

Slayer, I love training it/hate trainng it. Love it because of the nice drops *smiles at siggie count* hate it because it has a god awful hourly exp rate. outside of that, love training strength, it was my first 99 and I am ranked 400s in it.

great, so now when I am doing my 3-4 daily clues, and trying to dig in wildy, and I am already being annoyed by the nearest skeleton....a team can come by and jump into the party...so now the NPCs will be aiding the pker on a kill. Not a big deal for me I guess, because not many NPCs in wildy get a hit in on me, but for lower guys..... just another annoyance, another attempt by Jagex to placate the pkers. Never pked, so it doesn't affect me, altho I have enjoyed burying a few that had the audacity to bother me while doing my clue. I worry not about a single white dot, it is the lame scared teamers that I look out for. big thumbs down

I am only a nubby 67 herby (got it this morning btw) because I id and make the pots as I get them from slayer....only attempted to buy unids once, got scammed out of 750k by a herb swapper...goes back to an old saying, "trick me once, shame on you, trick me twice, shame on me". I never bought unid herbs again. Yes, there is a nifty way to not get scammed, it isn't that serious to me, and 750k is pocket change. now it will soon be easy to train herby if I ever get around to it, I would rather just buy an herb and know I am getting what I am paying for, then worrry about which pile and how many piles blah blah blah.... But I totally understand and agree that prices wil rise, but if it stops the copious amount of merchant herb scammers, it is a price i am willing to pay. Sry nub scammers, gotta find another way to scam your way to a colored paper hat. awwwwwwwww *wipes tear*

absoluetly correct. I really doubt the game makers sit around late at night snickering about how they can "nerf" something.

like EVERYTHING else in the game, it is random...I killed 600+ before I got a pair of boots. BUt then again, my buddy zot got 13 pairs...3 within an hour. RANDOM. EDIT: also I am glad it was a slayer 83 monster, I thought for sure it would be a slayer 95 monster.....
