  1. Reading Andrew's posts from other pages, it sounds like he is pretty discouraged about it. Sounds like they're losing money if they go through with it, just to protect our accounts. I hope they go through with it :?

Stop fooling yourselves, I'm sure they expect to make money out of it, they lose first then gain:

Jagex probably saw that people who got hacked quit playing very often (and thus stop paying for members). Logical solution is to make sure people don't get hacked.

My example might not be the exact truth but I'm sure that it's close and that Jagex DOES make money out of it when looking at the bigger picture.

  2. Guess I'll post this here too.

I couldn't help noticing "Yeah the planned 150 is actually still in development "

Does that mean that the chosen commander wasn't the real 150st quest? And that the quest that had more development time then RFD is still being developed?

  3. The flax reward isn't as bad as it seems either. It takes about 30 seconds to collect it and gives you 10.8k gp. Thats 1.3M gp/h .

I doubt many people make that...

That's rubbish logic as you can only do it once a day.

Just as much rubbish logic as one stating that I am loosing 500k+/ hour by training a skill because I am not spending that time making money. This is a game and opportunity costs are rubbish.

It's not rubbish logic, it shows that gathering that flax is worth your time. It is the same idea as a herb run.

(It is actually a very good idea to add it to a herb run)

  4. To be honest, it seems to be like the rewards are underrated. Sure, the hat looks rather lame, and I do wish the lv3 version looked cooler than lv1, that way I'd be able to show off with it, but consider the following:

The New Excalibur Spec is a very good thing. You cant argue with you that. You can now bring excalibur in place of any peice of food and a super def pot, to slayer tasks and the sort, to make use of your special bar to heal you. Special attacks usually dont make much difference in PvM (USUALLY, in the case of bosses theyre obviously far more important.) and thus I can see myself using this a lot as soon as I get used to it.

The other updates however, seem rather useless. That's okay though, because these two matter enough.

  5. You could pronounce the captchas, that would be impossible to solve for a bot

But that would make sound a requirement..and it wouldnt be fair to death ppl..

[edit] How about a field with moving squares with numbers on it(1-10 or so). You need to pick the right number to reset your fatigue.

    would that work?

  6.

He also answered the questions like he was a zombie, he sounded unhuman..

10 hours a day behind your computer, and probably about 8 hours sleep.

That makes 6 hours to do something else. That will make everyone unhuman...

And it makes me wondering if he ever comes outside.

[edit] In those 6 hours he also has to eat etc. . This is sick.
