  1. I'm currently on my internship as an Investment Banking Analyst at one of the big banks. I'll be a fourth year accounting undergraduate in the upcoming school year, minoring in psychology and political science. I'm studying for LSAT and GMAT as I may want to pursue part-time JD or MBA. Also, I might pursue a CPA designation. I've also obtained my project management certification. I want to either become a corporate lawyer, manager/executive or professor.

  2. What is your training like right now (including football)? Also, what type of kickboxing is it? Maybe I can give you more insight the more I know about it.

But yes, twice a week of kickboxing would make you lose body fat and make you leaner along with football.

kickboxing + water + diet = burn calories & cleans toxins & lose weight

  3. Today is Thanksgiving Day. In the past few hours, I've been on tip.it procrastinating from schoolwork. It's been a boring day unlike in the past few days when I had to deal with two lunatic girls (one stalking me and the other almost shafted my leg with a brick).

  4. There is literally no gym in your school!? That's unheard of... Since you're a student, why don't you join one of the intramural sports at your school or play in one of your your co-workers' teams?

Reduce your consumption on caffeine, peanut better and premade foods. Also no sugar-free foods.

Do you know what your body fat percentage is?

To lose the fat, workout at least three times weekly with weights (I know you don't have access to gyms, but you can buy weights for personal use). Eat 1g protein per pound of lean body mass daily and cut calories to 1-2 pounds per week. Eat fruits and vegetables daily along with regular meals. NEVER ever eat before you go to bed. Sleep for 8 hours so you'll feel refreshed the next day and you do lose weight when you sleep anyways. Lol. Drink a lot of water (flushes out toxins and helps with body fat).

Keep tabs on your progress weekly and you shouldn't be worried if you start gaining a few pounds or remains the same in 1-2 weeks. Progress should really start to show in the third week. If you see no progress, cut down on calories (note: don't cut down more than 500 calories per day, that's not healthy). When adjusting intake of calories, make sure to do it consistently and preferably every 3 weeks to give time to see if there are slight changes made.

Bottom line: diet, nutrition, cardio (also motivation & dedication)

I'm 6"2, 150 lbs, 20 years old (also busy with school/work/clubs but I make time for exercising) .I've been running (6km at least twice a week)/crunches/mountain climbers/jacknife situps/suicides and squash/hockey. Did I inspire you to workout now!? :-D TURN THOSE FATS TO MUSCLES!

  5. Leafs look...better than last year. All you can ask for I suppose...

I think they're pretty solid right now. Leafs vs Sens (5 - 1). That was a pretty sick game even though I didn't feel that the Sens weren't performing at their very best. Go Kessel!

  6. The internet is not the place for practical legal advice - call yourself a lawyer.

I know, but I'd like some second opinion

And, I need to wait until Saturday because my parents are in a business trip right now...and I don't have any money to pay an attorney. But, I guess it doesn't hurt to ask two of my parents' friends who are a tax lawyer and a persecutor...but I want my parents to talk to them...

  7. Dude, are you a freaking moron?

If an officer asks for information, and has shown his badge, give him it. I'm surprised you never got a ticket because he thought you had no insurance.

I DID show my information to the police officer without any hesitation.

I DIDN'T show my information to the other driver BECAUSE he kept on persisting on ONLY MY INSURANCE NUMBER. Then I recalled something that I learned form driving school.

  8. I read the forum rules and there isn't anything against asking real life issue help...

I was recently in a car accident and the police was involved and told me it was my fault. So, I have a court hearing next year (Jan 2008) for "Failure to give information" (I'm from Canada btw). The only thing I failed to do was giving my insurance number, but how can I defend myself? I was willing to give my other information such as driving license, address, phone number and ownership registration, but not my insurance number. However, the other driver wanted me to give my information first, but I didn't want to. So, no one received any information from one another. And when the police came and gave us paper to write our side of the story, I forgot to include this information. Am I screwed? (Sorry for the language if I offended anyone...I can't think of another word as of this moment)

What should I tell to the judge ? The truth ? Then won't he or she penalize me for not knowing the law ? I mean, I was told, according to my driving school instructor to never give my insurance number.

    I'm scared because I don't want a criminal record!

I don't want to pay for something that I thought I was doing the right thing!

Btw, I'm 17 so teen driver and I used to drive a BMW 335i and the car is totalled.

Edit: Just a clarification, I didn't show my information to the other driver, but once the police arrived, I did not hesitate to show it - only to the officer

  9. I'm going to grade 12 next year, but my future looks promising as long as I play my best in sports and excel in my academics. I am promised to get a full 1 year scholarship in University of Michigan playing for the hockey team [if I do well within that 1 year, they'll renew my scholarship] and a full 4 year scholarship in Queen's University. But, I really want to go to Harvard to study business. So, I have to see how this will work out for me because it's tempting to take the scholarships, but I'm not sure just yet...
