I too find i like photography very much. I ended up taking a black and white photography class this last semester (just as a schedule filler and no brainer class), but it turns out the class was harder and more intriguing than I expected. I'm still a novice, if even that, so I'm still learning different ways and methods to shoot photographs
I got a Canon A640 for Christmas and i haven't been able to stop taking pictures since. Here's a few examples of my favorite shots, feel free to use them for whatever if anyone wants to.
Playing with Color accents^
Playing with Shutter Speed at 15 seconds while rotating the camera (on the freeway)^
More color accents at a gas station^
Sunset^
Edit: by the way, those are some pretty awesome looking shots/manipulation you all have posted

I like it, it's a really nice piece of work. Almost looks like a different person though, with the shortened forehead, hooked nose, puffy frown and such (reminds me of count olaf  ).
I give it an 8/10 for looking so nice and realistic =D> but comes short as it almost looks like a seperate person than what you intended #-o

Very expressive looking to me :-k . Portrays emotions and such, but it does lack in other elements. Keep up the work and I'm sure your style will develope and progress as you do more : .
-
I like it. I can even feel the idea you are trying to get accross with it. Nice work, though a dark or middletone background might bring out the centerpiece more : . I feel like the white background takes away from the object.

Yea that top part does seem to dull out the whole feel you get from the bottom. Maybe add small looking shards or somesuch thing to add connection around the image. I'm sure an impending sphere of doom concept on the top would look nice also. But if it were me I'd just lob off the top.
Though I've never done works of that sort, and wouldn't even know how to go about doing it, I say it's pretty nice looking : .

The grainy-ness should start out large and fade in porportion to how far away it is. Scaling is a major factor with space.
Perhaps start out with further spaced lager grains in the foreground and as they get farther back shrink and put them closer together? Maybe even try fading the dark and light grains together with the base color the further it gets away.
nice job so far, by the way :

As an aspiring graphics designer I try to get all the experience I can in Adobe photoshop. I played upon the Idea that the picture with the red filter looked like lava and came up with this...
I didn't do anything too fancy or excentric; simple use of sponge, blur, and, smudge tool. Thanks for the experience :

I'm probably gonna be in the f2p category. That's if i can remember. If your short on contestants and want another person, just pm me cause I'll probably forget.

Interesting idea. I may pitch in some help sometime. If I can find the time :?

Wow, great job. I was hoping for some day that I could learn histories of the Runescape gods. Today seems to be my lucky day, many thanks.

This event sounds fun, I will try to attend. But I'm not sure if my outfit would be considered realistic or crazy :? . I guess I'll try to enter whichever category seems less full :P . Though, crazy sounds a bit more fun.

Wow, that is uber awesome. Can't really find anything bad about it. Though, a blur motion on the swinging mace might be a little interesting.

Yes, I know Chapter Six was short. I intend for Chapter Seven to be quite long, just to make it up to you...
I will be updating the story shortly. Please stay tuned...-voice trails off-
So um.. is chapter seven coming anytime at all? I was quite enjoying the plot, and am curious as to how it all will end.
Ps- Didn't say anything earlier for fear of rushing you  , but it's been a while so I thought I'd ask.

If you want to make friends, be courteous.
10 Examples of things to do that might help you get friends:
~*Share the rocks (If someone comes to take your rock step back and let them)
~*Share Monsters (Let someone else get the monster first, there will always be more)
~*Save someones tools (If someone loses an axe head, try to return it)
~*Help those in need (If someone requires a single tele rune and are even offering more the true value, hand over a free rune instead of taking the money)
~*Return lost items (If someones dies a loses something, even if it's a party hat, notify them that you have and are willing to return their items free)
~*Ask random people how they are doing (A simple interest in someone elses own being leaves a good impression)
~*Compliment people(People usually wear their best items to show off, compliment them on their attire sincerely so they know that some people care about their achievements, no matter how minute they are)
~*Give out advice(those aspiring for greatness it a skill, might not know the best ways to train)
~*Give up your services to help someone (Something as simple as giving free taxi rides to a fellow runecrafter would do)
~*Don't Swear (Many people may believe swearing is "cool" but this makes people stray away from you. If you're swearing at just tough rock whats to keep you from swearing at them)
Not only could these acts be used to generate new friends, but they could also generate a more pleasant and friendly community with their contagiousness

There are nice people on f2p (myself included, what with giving everything I've ever earned away just to make people smile). True, there are way more crude and selfish people, but if your lucky you can find someone nice. At least that's the way it goes for me.
Just needed to say this before someone sterotyped f2p-ers as all crude.

fine ill do it ill be a white pawn
RSN=ratjen323
Sweet another pawn :P . We shall own the board.
Maybe, if everyone is agreeable enough, each of the different pieces could vote on their own outfits. Or if all else fails let the event leader choose the outfits, if any.

I like mining and ranging almost equally. Though I need money to range so I'd have to say mining

I will try to join you all for this. I'm not making any promises though just cause anything can happy at any time(like a power outage). Could be some good exp.
Is there a limit on the number of mind runes? Just in case some of us feel generous enough to bring alot for the winner.
And we are fighting eachother right? Please clarify what you mean by betrayal if so.
Many thanks

Hey, I'd volunteer my time to be a piece. Though I could immagine MoM taking away player to the mime or other such randoms. "Oh no! We've lost our king."
I'll be a white pawn please. (cool peice 8) and I'll probably die first)
Note: I do tend to get called for chores often, so I may log in and out of game a few times, so if you find a more reliable player to replace me it's all good :P

10. Looks like a bug, the Draynor defence cabbages (Draynor manor) - the pick action is still available, but "nothing interesting happens" when you try. One of my characters still has a dozen of them.
I've been able to pick the cabbages :? . Picked my first def cabbages today, didnt even know they exhisted till a bunch of people said you couldnt pick them anymore so I went to pick some and succeded. Maybe the glitch only affects certain people?

I, again, don't believe in any pattern getting a Random Event. I personally have experienced it. What I did was, followed the instructions given by those people who say "Hint of Getting Random Evnets!!!". Tried, nothing happened.
I just don't believe in noticing any pattern, as Random Events pop up anywhere. In the situation you got your random event, doesn't mean everyone will get it the same way.
I do agree that random events are truly 'random', there is probably no way to increase your chances of getting a specific one. I was just posing the idea that two people can get the exact same random events if they logged in at the same time and stuck together.
Possibly this idea could be experimented and tested?

I've never known you, but welcome back(possibly?)

I get called Josh instead of Joey 75% of the time. Then there's always people that go:
Them: "hey I think i know you in real life."
Me: "no you dont"
Them: "where do you go to school?"
Me: "you dont know me..."
Them: "(something) elementary school?"
Me: "Please read 13 on the abuse report."
Them: *run away*
That's about how it usually goes.
I should have picked a better username :?

Meh, I'm not much of one for player vs player combat but i do have guild wars, even though I rarely play it.
Merciful Munpie is my characters name
My solution to 'Balanced Trading'
in RuneScape Suggestions
Posted
An interesting proposal indeed. One of the better ways to identify or weed out real world trading would be closer supervision.
Like any plan though it still has some faults. Please take this criticism constructively, but wouldn't there be a very large work load of unbalanced trades to be approved? Realistically there would probably be thousands of trades to sift through over a short period of time.
Another thing to consider is the possibility that real world traders could flood the check system with bot-traders, maybe to dilute and hide all their real world trades.
Maybe a trading-pin could stop the later, but still i think the main problem is having so many trades happening worldwide. Seems like a big workload for a staff of any size to handle. :-k
