  1. A) You look like a botter, lose the dmed for a fremmy helm of some sort

    B) Slay

    C) Set a PIN and make sure your computer is clean so you don't get hacked again.

Nifflin - I had a pin thats whats so puzzling to me cause even if he got my pw i don't know how he got around my pin to empty out my bank :s

and thanks for the tips guys!

  2. Just wondering whats a good place for someone with my stats to train in members? I'm looking for somewhere I could make some decent money and items training as well since the person that hacked me pretty much cleaned out my bank.

    Thanks!

  3. Haha thing is I had no idea what was going on I hadn't logged on for about 6 months, but any idea for a rough estimate of what that stuff is worth?

And just in general I though Jagex really cut down on all the bots and with all the limits on trading whats the point of autoing?

  4. I dont come on here too often anymore, i really only play when there's holiday events but I actually even missed the easter one this year which is the first ive missed since I started playing back in spring 2005.

Anyways, so I basically haven't logged in since Christmas and so today i'm checking my email and I notice that I have an email from Jagex saying I have an offence which is really strange so I go and try to login but I can't so I figure someone must have hacked my account. Now I go to recover my pw thank goodness I remembered my security questions so I get my account back and my banks basically been cleaned out I had about 4mil, full zammy, dhide and blue wiz robe (g), and all the non member trimmed stuff you could possible have but now I have this:

So keep in mind i've never been a member in the 6 or so years i've been playing, but any idea what this stuff is worth? i'm pretty choked i lost all my stuff and I would like to try to get it all back if I can.

I'm just really glad I took my account back from the jerk that hacked it but any help you guys can give me would be really appreciated :) also any members tips? stuff I should check out for the couple weeks of free membership that sucker left on my account haha

  5. Hey everyone,

So I basically only play during holiday events now so I dont miss out on the item, thought this halloweens was pretty well done actually except that conversation took me forever, but anyways I noticed this new? faint emote and you have to do the mime court case for it i tried searching the forum for it but couldnt find much so if someone could fill me in on what these court cases are that'd be awesome.

And if anyone wants to tell me about any new F2P stuff i should check out that'd be great too! I pretty much haven't played since the Easter event so anything new since then.

    Thanks!

  6. I do everything myself, the only things I by are like you said armor and weapons.

I don't get how DIYers are inefficient, my methods allow me to train several skills at once. For example, when i'm mining I gather materials to train my smithing and in the course of that I will accumulate gems which will allow me to train crafting, once I craft my amulets I will enchant them and once I smithe my steel plates (what I always mine ore for) I will then alch them which trains my magic. Rather than just buying materials so I can train one skill all the way to whatever I wanted i'm training several, it may not be as easy but not everyone has the money to just go out and buy their skills especially in f2p.

  7. I'd have to agree with Kaida mining runite is by far the best I've come across as long as you have 85 mining but be prepared to get frustrated by the revenants, I can't tell you how many times I've lost loads of runite cause of them.

  8. You're still missing my point... It's not so much that I can't find the time, it's more so that I don't like being forced to commit so much time to a dungeon for what I find to be extremely slow xp rates.

That's like saying you're forced to wait 14 hrs for your trees to grow, or get slow exp with allotments which take ~15 min. Nobody is forcing you, you just can't expect every skill to be trained the same way.

I agree with Eyrelex, even with a skill like farming you can log on for 5 minutes, check/plant your tree and log off.

-> best xp possible. Even if you only have time for just one tree/herb patch, it is good xp.

With dungeoneering this is not possible, you need at least 15+minutes. And this is only the case if you're ok with less xp/hour, otherwise it is 1hr+.

(isn't every skill trainable in a way you can log in for 5 minutes and get decent xp? Prove I'm wrong and name one plz? :^_^: )

Yes! timmmmm that's exactly my point! I've never been a member and never done farming but I can't imagine you have to stand there waiting 14 hours before you can move on and do something else, which is what it would have to be for you to liken it to completing a dungeon. And like timmmmm said most other skills you can just log on for 5 minutes train for a bit and log out which isn't the case with dungeoneering.

I also know no one is forcing me to dungeoneer and I don't anymore after playing it for a little while when it was newer. What i'm saying is the skill itself forces you to if you want a certain level which is what I strove for before because I like to try to keep all of my skills at certain levels but i've since given up on that at least for dungeoneering.

  9. I am impressed with the level of thought and effort you put into your ideas and writing but i'd have to agree with some of the replies in that it did come off as pretentious, but I suppose that's the risk you run when you don't use conventional language. Anyways that's just my opinion, but it was well written nonetheless.

As to why I play runescape, well actually I don't really anymore with exception to holiday events and when something new is released to f2p. It's just not as fun anymore for me because I have changed, the game has changed and I find the community has changed as well.

  10. The problem I have with dungeoneering is that to train it you have to be willing to sit and play for extended periods of time, the good thing about runescape and the other skills in general is that you could easily just log on train/play for a bit and log out when you were done but with dungeoneering you have to finish the dungeon if you want to maximize your xp which is what has kept me from enjoying this skill.

sucks when u have a mom taking u off the comp -.- otherwise if ur alone its fine and easy.

I don't have that problem since I have my own computer, but that wasn't even the point I was trying to make anyways. What I was saying was that dungeoneering FORCES you to play for long periods of time (to my experience dungeons take at least 20 minutes if not more for very little xp at a time), whereas most other skills you can just log on play for however long you want to play and log out.

i have my own comp too lol.......but still if people in family talking to me. cant just log off especcially during larges.

You have to make sure u have enough time and cannot multitask while training to full efficiency for instance and an hr or more for a large with avarage teams. and with a good team you need to be even more active for a 50 or less min map

You're still missing my point... It's not so much that I can't find the time, it's more so that I don't like being forced to commit so much time to a dungeon for what I find to be extremely slow xp rates.

  13. does anyone kno if i can get replacement seeds cause when i was finishing up the garden a fricken strange rock took one of the quest seeds and advise?

It would help if you told us what quest you're doing....And could spell worth a crap.

I don't see anything wrong with his spelling except for missing a 'w' in know and the use of "fricken" which isn't an actual word but im sure most people know what it means, but i guess some people just like to nitpick...but i do agree that it'd help if you identified the quest you need assistance with.

  14. When i first started leveling went extremely slow you just need to get the hang of it. Don't waste time fishing or mining and smithing which i often did when i first started you'll find more than enough food from monster drops and often times the weapons and armour they start you off with in the first room will be enough to carry you through, and like pinkbullet said remember to reset your ring once you've completed all the levels you're able to go through.

  15. I just started playing again after over a year long break and at first was like wow 880 hp! but nothing's really changed, i don't really see how a 10 hit in comparison to 100 hp is any more exciting than a 1 hit in comparison to 10 hp but maybe that's just me since i already got past that initial training and leveling. I honestly don't even remember hitting alot of zeros and if i did it definitely didn't discourage me from continuing to play along with millions of other players who continued to play before this update. As for the proposed updates i'll wait til i see them cause with many of the latest updates i've been left wondering who Jagex really wants as their customers a bunch of helpless 5 year olds who will register and play for a week and never log in again or players who have stuck by them for years, on the other hand maybe i'm just getting too old for this game...

  16. What's funny is that sometimes I 1) just dont want to talk at that time, or 2) There's nothing to say, or 3) I'm just standing in a spot for a long period of time either talking or searching these forums, and then someone comes up to me and says "Bot". I reply, and they're like "oh." <_<

Usually when i dont wanna talk, they ask either why or "you could've said something." <_<

I hate it when people call me a bot and then have some stupid thing to say about it <_<

(See a trend with my smileys?)

People just need to mind their own buisness!

Most ppl mind their own business its just all those wannabe mods that hope if they report enough ppl they'll be chosen by jagex.
