Thanks Goobore you always give sound advice, I think I might need a bit more training some of my f2p skills b4 going member. As thargor01 mentioned I might need to get f2p skills up to lvl 50....most of the free skills are around 50. mining 58 smith and fish - 50 cook-52 craft-58 magic-55 prayer-48 woodcut-63 firemake- 51 The ones that are low or lower than the others Range-44 runecrafting-3 I figure the range needs to be a lot higher....so where is the fastest xp in f2p for range? I have several iron and steel arrows (around 3k) If there is something that I should work on (skill) that I am missing please point it out. Thanks Again

I guess I want to build on my str,att, def ...but also would like to have more in the bank eventually than my 200k..... I guess I should go member when my def hits 60 hopefully tonight or tomorrow. I loved slayer tasks with my other accounts and found it was a great way to build levels. Should I stay away from fighting the controlled method as I get higher in stats? Did this with other account and as you know lvls came slow but were balanced. Thanks

I posted a week or 2 agao when I was getting my F2p account in the str,att, and def building. I was (2 weeks ago) 72 combat, 63 att, 57 str, 52 def. Now the combat lvl is 84- att is 70, str is 74 and def is 57 and rising (gonna get it to 60) I have been in SoS on the fleshies and zombies....when I get 60 def should I move on or keep training on the fleshies etc.? Thinking about turning member and doing the rest of the quests I lack? Thanks

I heard someone say that it was a lot easier to lvl in the p2p worlds than f2p. Is this fact....I know there are more places and opportunities in the p2p worlds. I am in the fleshy crawlers on f2p without anyone else in there and getting roughly 42K xp in str per hour. Thanks

I guess I will hang on to the fleshy thing and balance out my stats a little. Get str up to 80 then att then def up to at least 60. Would knows if I get 99 in everything maybe I can still pk a little...lol Thanks

Thanks for the post guys....and yes I wouldn't last long in the wildy right now. So my plan I guess is to continue on to get att, str, up to like 80 (whew lot of hours there...lol) and def. up to like 70 at least I guess as mentioned this could be the all around runescape character...lvling all stats as they go. Then make a staker account later. Thanks, So continue on in the fleshy crawler pit.....is what I am hearing mostly.. would I last long on the ice giants with 66,70,54 combat stats? Hate to go down there just to eat fish.

Thanks again goobore you always give some sound advice. The lvls naturally are harder to get (takes longer) now that I am 72 in str. I guess I should get att and def. up to the str lvl of 72. That is when I thought i would hit the member world. are the fleshies less crowded on member sites? They aren't terribly crowded on the f2p sites really, but somtimes 3-4 join in and slows things down? Looks like this acc. will just be a all around rs type of character. Will need to build a good staker in the future. Thanks for all the good advice

The flesh crawlers i went from str. level 54 to 72 in a week.

As for knowing if it was good or not to be a pure.....I am not sure really all there is to know about being a good pure or staker. I just didn't know if I should continue on with my str training or move into another skill. heard ice giants are food just didn't know if i would be able to stay down long and fight them. Thanks

Hey I have been training strength ffor a week now and went from 54 to 72, my att is 66 with def at around 55. My combat lvl is 80 with hp at 66. I know I am too far away with this acc to be a pure. I have been soley fighting fleshy crawlers and zombies. I am a free player, I guess i will just try and get skilled high before moving on to member status. should i back off the str training and get the other combat lvls up? Train elsewhere on other monsters? Like the fact that the SoS is not too crowded like mossies and hills. Any help with the direction that you would take would be appreciated

You are exactly right no need for a test between the 2. I can stay on the fleshies for an hour or so......I know a lot less with the mossies. now that I am getting in the 60's, those numbers between levels sure do get farther apart....lol Thanks Again

A guy in the game at Fleshys was 70 str and 66 att...said mossies were a lot faster training than fleshies...... like yousaid they might be but the food consumption and banking kill time. Thanks

Thanks Goobore: I still have a lot to learn about the game.....I don't mind the flshy crawlers too bad...been here since Tues. power killing...lol Didn't know if there were any other monsters in SoS, that compare to the fleshies...when say i hit maybe 70 att and str. Thanks

ok...what level would you say it would be safe to move on to another beast to kill that would give good quick xp in the free world? Thanks for the advice

I am a free player got some advice late last week on where to train. It has worked out well, there are some smart people on this forum. My question....I have moved from combat lvl. 72 to now 77. Moved from att. of 63 to 66, str from 57 to 64...my def is still at 52..thinking about leaving it there?? I am fighting fleshy crawlers..should I stay there til I lvl up more or is there a place where xp is faster and I can get up to att,str lvl 80 quicker. My HP is around 63, prayer high 40's. Thanks

you can stay down fighting the flesh crawlers a long time....they only hit like 1. Might have to try mossies on a uncrowded world....lessers are slow...now that I have seen the fleshies

just hit 60 strength up 2 or 3 levels in a day doing fleshy crawlers. I hope to hit 70 in a week or so. Any other advice?

Thanks for the info. on the att and str. think I will try and get it to 60 for dragon stuff. Guess I have a lot to learn about tactics for slayer and pk'ing.

Should I raise my defense it is 52, str. 58 att.62... If I stake or go wildy in the future does it pay to have low defense...never really understood that? Thanks

Thanks again.... I tried the fleshy crawlers last night and jumped up a level in strength.... so going to try and stick with them maybe til I get 80 in combat. If in the future I plan on getting into staking or possibly hanging out in the wildy...should I get my defence up in the 80's or 90's? I am like in the lower 50's now in def. Cya

Thanks for all the information....I have had to go back to my original RS account since my lvl. 102 was hacked and stolen by keylogger....Jagex won't help at all. So now I am careful to log in with my on screen keyboard, and have good pc. protection now. Anyway back to the subject of fast xp....forgot about the crawlers. Fishing a load of lobs. then cooking and heading to lessers is sort of time consuming. I plan on starting my mebership again in a few months and hope to have 70+ in my combat lvls. Any other advice is appreciated.

I am free player at the moment ...lvl 72 player with like 58 strength. I am currently on the Karmja island cooking lobsters and fighting lessers. I am trying to raise my combat levels to like 80 before becoming a member again. My question is this the best place to be getting combat xp the fastest in a free world? Guess I am also getting fishing and cooking xp too (lvl 49) Thanks or the advice

Thanks for the heads up on saving those melons. I have over 100 in bank and will start collecting pineapples in their place. Looks like I need to go and collect some tree seeds. I am just up to maples at moment....lvl. 56. Is there any benefit for getting like levels over 70? Besides being able to grow other things and working towards a skill cape? Again main thing is that I want to get all my skills up to at least 70 then begin making piles of cash. Thanks

Thanks for the replies. I like the xp for skills....but ultimately I would like to be able to make aload of cash in a days time. would like to buy a santa or mask in the near future. I have pretty high levels the lowest is construction at 32....(except for hunting...not into that yet) I am currently planting all the allotments and tele to all 4 patches. I am planting rannars, watermelons and limps. Using my watermelons to make super compost. I may try the miscellania....done all the quests. Got some cash to get levels up(13 mill). Thanks Again
