  1. I have seen action on one of the F2P worlds. I came accross at least 20 macroers/autoers at one yew tree between Lumbridge and Draynor. I reported one. Kept killing goblins and watching. Random events started less than 5 minutes later. 20 to 25 minutes later the only people left at the tree were the two that actually responded to the random events.

The second time I logged in today, I just happened to log into the middle of a real world item trading conversation. People who do that shouldn't do it near Lumbridge where they are likely to be observed.

  2. I stumbled accross my first batch of autoers between draynor and lumbridge just now. They were all chopping a yew tree. Some were level 3, some were level 4. I reported the first one who wasn't wearing any special clothes. I tried to report the second one and got the message that I had just filed a snapshot within 60 seconds and not to abuse the system. Then I started seeing random events. Lots of them. The autoers started disappearing because they weren't responding to the random events. The ones that weren't autoing didn't disappear because they did respond.

    I think reporting does help.

  3. I have one F2P and one P2P character. Both are still fairly low level. I have seen scamming going on in both free and member worlds, but it seems to happen more often in the free worlds. I just reported a guy who was offering to cut gems for free in a free world. Since that is a member only skill that can be done only on a member world, he was item scamming, so I reported it.

I'm going to the worlds with the smallest number of people in them. I find myself making at least one report every time I play F2P. I probably make one every third time I play P2P.

I hate to think how bad this stuff is on the more crowded worlds. The one I just reported from had less than 400 people in it.

?What? :?: :?: Gem cutting is not a members skill...

My bad, I've only come accross the members only gems, from pickpocketing ham members, sorry. I thought it was members only but some gems are not member only.

The guy was still probably item scamming though since he was offering to cut people's gems for free.

  5. I started my most recent character a couple of days ago. During my first trip to the rune mine, some jerk reported me as an autoer cause I didn't respond to him when he accused me of being one. (Someone I'med me while I was on that computer, which makes it freeze up for a minute or so so I couldn't). This jerk then proceeded to make a series of comments about "people like me". I finally got the computer unstuck and put him on ignore. Then continued my training route. I probably should have reported him for harassment too.

There is nothing wrong with reporting someone who may possibly be autoing. The harassment afterwards is wrong. I've seen this kind of behavior when others (who may have actually been autoing) were reported. It would be nice if people would just report the behavior and move on.
