TAMPA, Fla. - A female teacher pleaded guilty Tuesday to having sex with a 14-year-old middle school student, avoiding prison as part of a plea agreement.

 

 

 

Debra Lafave, 25, whose sensational case made tabloid headlines, will serve three years of house arrest and seven years' probation. She pleaded guilty to two counts of lewd and lascivious battery.

 

 

 

The former Greco Middle School reading teacher apologized during the hearing, saying that "I accept full responsibility for my actions."

 

 

 

The boy told investigators the two had sex in a classroom at the Greco school, located in Temple Terrace near Tampa, in her Riverview town house and once in a vehicle while his 15-year-old cousin drove them around Marion County.

I think it's good because now a-days parents have no control over their children. The other day i was walking through the store and this kid kept whining, and the mom couldn't get him to stop so she just bought him what he wanted. Back when most of our parents were kids, the parents could just give them a spanking and wham, there's an effective form of discipline and your money is saved.

7:30 - 8:00 Wake up get ready and catch public transit to get to school

 

8:25 - 11:00 Periods one and two

 

11:00 - 12:25 - Lunch, usually consists of skateboarding and grabbing something to eat

 

12:25 - 3:00 Periods four and five

 

3:00 - 3:15 Take public transit home

 

3:15 - 6:00 Go Skateboarding

 

6:00 - 6:30 - Eat Dinner

 

6:30 - 8:00 - Go Skateboarding again

 

8:00 - 12:00 - Runescape

 

12:00 - 7:30 Sleep
