  1. Thank you god, someone else has realised that FoG is not

    a) Duel arena

    B) free mage xp

Lol it is funny as hell when you beat lvl 100+s on a lvl 45 account because they cant accept tanking in the centre isnt a strategy but a death wish,

I've had people beg me to come to the center and call me noob when I ran and hid. If you want your mage xp, come and get me! But I disagree on the free mage xp part. For me, it is free mage xp, because regardless of where you go or whether or not you beat me, I will find you and I will Earth blast you to bits til I level up enough to use fire blast. That's unless you forfeit after giving up trying to find me. Then it's no fun.

I also have no trouble winning against higher levels, as I, too, can hide forever if I want to.

Current challenge: win with absolutely nothing on 'cept for a staff and a cape.

  2. Bronze=tin+copper-this showed up on one of my high school science exams, too.

    Economics and stock exchange

Casually playing is awesome. Addiction sucks.

How to get around profanity filters that filter out ridiculous stuff.

Making alot of money usually means hard work at perfecting one skill.

You need to have at least one good skill and lots of dedication to get where you want to be.

It actually is possible to burn soup if you're careless enough to leave it in the stove while you go and play internet games

    Medieval knowledge

From a player who listed a few signs of RS addiction: You need a license to fish and chop trees IRL.

    Some French

Very well-written, aznmidget. Asians rock :D I used to be on my high school math team.

  3. People used to ask me, that, so yeah.

It's not like I can make it =/

I'd have to buy a whole different set. Actually, I lent a guy full rune once, and he stopped playing for a while, and so did I. He came back a little while after I did, and he couldn't give it back because of the new trading system. Go figure.

I think the only way to get that back is to trade it all for 3k less than what the set's worth and then have him give you back the money 3k at a time.

  4. I personally admire those that have the dedication and attention span to level that far. I certainly don't lol leveled wc and mining only as far as I needed to get enough money for a very colorful set of mismatched, trimmed, rune armor and some guthix robes. I certainly admire people who, unlike me, don't get impatient after the payday and start to do other stuff, like fight.

Every time someone in Fist of Guthix calls me noob I just tell them that they need to get more creative.

  5. I noticed this too. Man, the funny insults that little kids sling. And by little kid I mean anyone who's acting 13 or younger, with myself being 19. I've also started playing in the sleeping bag era and wonder what happened to those. I went away for a year and they're gone when I got back. I wouldn't call this easy to play as at least Fist of Guthix requires some strategy if you're bent on winning against higher levels.

  6. I'm a summer warrior. I can say that I haven't played in a long time but to really say that I quit? Well, I suppose school, work, and volunteering and whatnot drives me off the game for only 9-11 months per year but never all 12 months. I'd probably have to have my main permabanned to quit. No wait, I'd just come back under an even more ridiculous game-based name, most likely Raw Cowhide.

  7. guess I'm lucky I haven't had that yet. I'm okay, actually, more amused, with people following me around asking me where I got the trimmed armor and druid robes. I'm laugh when people try to buy them off of me. What I don't like is people following me around asking for large sums of money. For the love of Guthix I do not give free stuff unless it's a drop party.

  8. It doesn't get me that much. It's actually my only complaint against the game, as I find the rest of this quite addicting. Or maybe the problem's limited to F2P and solely in Lumbridge and the exchange center. And my gaming's always been limited to summers on days when I don't have to work anyway.

  9. And I thought the beggars were bad the last time I played, which was 2 years ago. I like staying in the guilds and minigames where I don't see much of that, but have to endure this every time I come out to trade.

    yes, I have money

yes, I will help in terms of giving directions and instructions

No, I will not give away money unless you're giving me something of equal value in return, i.e. some cosmics, nats, or laws.

Want money? Do something more productive than asking me for it!

Last time I left, it was because I couldn't stand the Chinese-named macros. I wonder if this, combined with uni and work, is going to drive me away again in another 2 weeks.

  10. I don't mean trimmed. I mean the ones that have different colors in their squares. and the helms that have at least two colors aside from blue on them.

and yeah, I've been buying up trimmed stuff for the looks (but definitely not for the beggars that follow me around the exchange place). and never mind on the shields. Settled for berzerker. Now all that's left is to get a helm and a regular weapon.

  11. thanks

    now for some more questions:

whats with all the different colored rune kiteshields and helms? Like the ones that are all purple and red and everything? I've already gotten the platebody and teh skirt and don't know if I should go for regular trimmed helms and shields or the really colorful stuff. And I don't care if it's expensive as I'm willing to work.

  12. What's the quickest way to get money F2P? So far, I've tried chopping yews and mining coal. Just to warn you all, I've not played RS in 2 years, not since I got fed up with the Chinese-named bots, and so might need to have alot of stuff explained in more detail than usual. My current goal is to get my hands on a trimmed rune set. I also don't have any weapons or armor aside from rune pick and axe.

  13. I was thinking cape+dragon armor+ammy when I was bored out of my mind in summer school. As for photoshop, I suppose the fact that I don't have it on my comp factors in. Most of my artistic skills come from four semesters of Drawing, so I'm very traditional.

  14. I'm actually a girl and if you read the artist's notes, I said feel free to color. I drew a male character because that's just how it turned out. This is not my Runescape character. Thanks for the help, though I've no idea as to how to work with those lines since my photoshopping is limited to pasting WinDVD screenshots together.

  15. I randomly drew a Runescape character while I was bored in summer school. Somehow, these Government lectures always inspire art. Here's the pic: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/36641433/

So is anybody here good with CGs and willing to color? Thanks! All that I request is that the color of the glasses' frame be black. As you can tell, I deviated from teh game a little buy varying teh hairstyle and giving the kid glasses, even though it's highly unlikely that anybody who wears glasses has the ranging level to wear dragonhide.

  16. I thought I might collect some odd stories. I'm not sure if my judgment of this one's impaired since I had a chocolate muffin on top of a cup of coffee and am thus on an all-time caffeine high. Anyhow, I never knew until today that someone who reviews fanfics on FF.N calls himself the Grammar Nazi. Well, gotta get through the rest of the emails that I collected when I was offline.
