Updating Rule 1

Featured Replies

Rule 1 is for offensive language, yet, look at this:

Spamming/flooding the chat window is to fill the chat window with unnecessary text. This is also an offence and is disruptive and unfair on other players as it makes it more difficult for them to communicate and trade with each other.

And what about those people who make.....inappropriate....not even emoticons with basic typing symbols?

The first isn't too offensive and the second really isn't language, so what are they? They are abusing the chat system, so why not change the name of the rules from offensive language to abusing chat system?

Why do this? Well first, it makes this rule clearer, wouldn't you like to see those noobs who flood the chat screen banned? Chances are, unless your a mod, what they do won't really get noticed too much unless lots of people report them. Although this might not change it for some people, this might help others.

I do understand that it doesn't exactly state by it's name that spamming is against the rules, so another idea could be to make spamming a separate rules by itself.

So! Idea one: change the name of rule one, idea two: make spamming a separate rule.
