You need the 61 mining to mine the lunar ore right? so could I have 55/56 and use spicy stew to mine it or do I have to have 59/60 for dwarven stout(m)?

Lunar Ore? Doesn't ring a bell.

 

 

 

Anyway you should be able to use the stew to get the +6 bonus to mine it. Aslong as you don't need a level to use an item then you should be able to pot up and do it.
