For your first, its alright. But, obviously you should be expecting some heavy criticism. Remember though, its your first, keep at it, it looks like you have some potential. anyway...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1.) make things more 3d. Everything is like flat and plastered on there. Work on the 3d.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2.) This sort of goes along with the 3d thing, but try to make things a little less blocky. For instance, if you look at the arm holding the loot bag, it doesnt look like an arm. Its like real straight except for the top, which sort of looks like a pipe, not a joint.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3.) Make things look more like real life. The tree, well for your first try did a good job on it. But maybe make it a little mroe life like.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.) Shading could use a little improvement.

Overall though, for your first attempt its pretty nice. You could have some potential. One thing I love is the background of stars. It really adds to the picture. You should try a few more and post them, I want to see how you improve.
