Worth it?

Featured Replies

I recently purchased 5000 (5k) of raw lobsters. My immediate goal was 80 Cooking, after which i would slowly progress to 99. BUT. A friend of mine PM'ed me and spoke to me about how profitable he was finding green dragons. He was fishing his own monkfish and using them. He was also 3 iteming with additional strength ammy (+tele fally). He said that for every 100k he fished, he made around 500k back. So 400k each time he fished 100k worth of fish.

What i was wondering is!

Would it be worth cooking the 5k of raw lobs (1.25k) and then using them to go to Green Dragons with them?

(A) Am i going to make the money back?

(B) Am i going to get a decent profit?

© Is it worth it?

Bear in mind im looking to get Combat above 95 in the next few months. Money is an issue, so if im only scraping profit, theres no point in doing so.

My friend also said that he had such a large profit, he was able to use some of the bones on an alter and craft some of the hides.

Id be looking to do that if i could?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Well personally when I fight green dragons, I bring close to the same set up and only about 5-10 lobbies, depending on how many pkers there are. and that gets me 10 hides and 10 bones... So its real worth it, and its nice training, AND you get level 3 clues alot.
